Omg we love this place! Every time we come it's always a good time! We actually celebrated our wedding here and have been coming back for our anniversaries ever since! Sad that the location in Sunland Park closed but the drive is worth it for us. Our server tonight god I didn't catch her name but she had like purple-ish hair she was amazing! She was super bubbly and nice! She took such good care of us and made this little family feel right at home. She even brought my little one an extra meatball because he took mine from my spaghetti and her coworker whom I also didn't get their name (sorry) bless their heart as well. 10/10 experience. We will continue to come back again and again!! ❤️

We have very busy schedules so when we have time to go out we really hope it's worth it. And this was it! We had a very good time. Jennifer was our server and she was always checking on us, super nice. And the food was really good. We will definitely go back.

Food was and drinks were a bit slow, but still one of our favorite family spots for a quaint dinner. Our server veronica j, blew it out of the water for us. My mom loves it when her servers talk with her and still do a great job flying around the dinning room.

We went to Carino's for Happy Hour. Our server/bartender Lee Ann was amazing. The Italian Margarita was delicious and the appetizers we ordered were great! The portion sizes were plentiful, even though they were supposed to be "happy hour" sized. Lee Ann took great care of us and we will definitely stop by again for happy hour or for dinner.

Carino's has been a favorite of mine for years and years so I always come back even though they removed the chicken Milano from the menu 😩 Anyway, we stopped by for lunch today and Veronica was our server. She provided excellent service and was very polite and prompt. Not a fan of the manager who said they can't make the chicken Milano even though they have all the ingredients. Said they had a new cook still being trained and didn't want to have them make anything off the menu. So whatever, I somewhat understand...but I ordered something similar with a couple modifications- no green onions, tomatoes, or artichoke, and light on the cayenne pepper. And of course it had green onions and tasted like it had extra cayenne. But it wasn't terrible. lol

This was the third time that I''ve been to this restaurant. I come here whenever I'm in El Paso and want a good Italian meal. The food here is superbly delicious, compliments to the chef(s). Veronica attended me the last time I was there, always with a friendly smile and vibe, just like the warm setting of the place itself. EP has a Gem in a restaurant as this Johnny Carinos.

This review is more about the service and experience we received. Sure the food was pretty good. Better than we expected. But what made me want to write this was the attention we received at lunch time. We tried to eat at a nearby establishment for what was supposed to be a quick simple lunch. Said restaurant wasn't that busy but we waited more than 40 mins before the server even checked on us one time. She then told us that there would be another 30 mins before our food would be ready. It was honestly just two of us, 12 wings and fries between the both of us. We ended up leaving and drove to Carinos simply because it was in the same parking lot. Talk about serendipity. The service was above par. The food (and prices) were fantastic. Without even knowing our situation, they absolutely saved our day. The staff was friendly and accommodating to whatever needs we requested. What should have been a quick and simple lunch stop actually turned into an amazing dining experience. Admittedly Carinos often gets overlooked when we go out. That day definitely changed our attitudes and we will most definitely stop by more frequently.

The service and food were fabulous for a Sunday family dinner!!! The food was very delicious and desserts were amazing!!! We actually had a family dinner platter and it was perfect. As you can see the desserts were delicious also!!! Keep up the fantastic job and we will definitely be back!!!

I was surprised on how good the food is. We usually dine at Olive Garden, but this food was tasty like a Mom & Pop whole in the wall restaurant with authentic food. We never had to ask server to fill our drinks. Our plates were picked up after done eating. Atmosphere, layout of restaurant needs some work. Felt boring. We recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an upgraded Olive Garden taste in food.

A great place to meet up with some good friends or family and catch up over a delicious cup of coffee or perfectly toasted panini. Although this place does get packed around noon, they do have plenty of seating inside, as well as patio seating. Now let’s talk food: for breakfast they offer sandwiches, paninis, pancakes, oatmeal, wraps and various other items. If you’re a health nut you’ll find some options here. My favorite breakfast items are the All American Scrambler which is your standard American breakfast: eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast. The Anaheim Scrambler which is similar to the All American except the scrambled eggs have veggies mixed in like an omelet. Lastly, the Anaheim Panini, is a delicious breakfast sandwich, it’s made up of scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, avocado, green onions, and cheddar inside two slices of sourdough bread. Yummy. For Lunch you have options such as Rustic Grilled Cheese, Club, Meatball Panini, Uptown Turkey Avocado Sandwich, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, Chicken Carbonara Pasta, Shrimp Scampi Linguini, Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, and various salad options as well as a kid menu. Every item my family and me have tried has been satisfying. The only item I do not enjoy here are their breakfast potatoes because they lack any flavor. Plain and simple, if your looking for a meal that isn’t gonna leave you feeling sluggish and lethargic, this is the place. The portions are enough to curb that hunger but not leave you overstuffed. Their soups and sandwiches are tasty and their coffee piping hot and since it’s self serve, you never have to wait around for that second cup. They do have a rewards program, and they also offer catering.

What a nice little bakery type of coffee shop at the corner of neighborhood. You can it's somehow like Starbucks, but I'll say that they're more family style, and more friendly. My Americano was nice and warm, the environment was nice and welcoming, have to mention that their "Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps" was so nice, it's crispy but not dry, you can still taste the texture and flavour of raisins. Thumbs up!!!

Pretty good food and relaxed environment. After you order at the counter they give you a number to put on your table stand for your waitress to bring you your food. They have soft drinks that you can get up and get yourself. We weren't sure what to do with our plates afterwards. Food was a little pricey.

Greetings. Service was excellent. The wait staff was attentive and worked as a team. Atmosphere was comfortable. I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine and the Italian Nachos. The Nachos were very good. The Fettuccine was good yet tge calamari I like it a tad bit more tender. Overall a good experience.

My daughter loves pastas, so Carinos nite it was. The place was empty when we visited.. ???It would always be packed before??? Anyways, the food was great, nonetheless. Potato soup was on point. We also had the Classic Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Spicy Shrimp and Chicken, and 3 Meat Combo Pizza. Draft beer was flat, so I pivoted to bottle. There went happy hour price. My kids tried Italian soda, and they liked it. Our attendant she was ok, but the gentlemen with the beard was more attentive looking for details as he would pass by our table and check up on us even though he wasn't our waiter. Experience.

This location is getting worse and worse every time I visit. Today topped it off; their Anaheim scrabbler was made by substituting chives for avocado. Their eggs really had a powdery grit to them and no flavor at all. The salt shakers were so dirty we had to use napkins for them. The potatoes a few tasted like potatoes the other tasted like spoiled potatoes. Needless to say this will be the last time here.

Our server Veronica J was outstanding. Very attentive. She cares about doing her job and doing it well. Nice place. Ok now that we have that out of the way. The bread was fresh and was delicious. The calamari was good. Ok now to the bad. I had the spicy shrimp and chicken. My wife had chicken parm. Not outstanding. Didn’t make me want to go back to this place. Yes the service was good. But that doesn’t decide if people want to come back to a restaurant. It’s the food. The entrees were mid at best. Not a lot of chicken or shrimp in the spicy shrimp and chicken. A lot of pasta. As for what my wife ordered… the chicken parm looked like it came out of an army dining facility. Not good. The spaghetti on the plate next to the chicken was cold. The Caesar salad was 3/10. Fresh lettuce. Pre made Caesar. Not made in house. And I could tell the Parmesan was pre grated like it was from Kraft. Payed around 67 dollars for me and my wife. Entrees and salad was not worth the money. I will say my wife enjoyed the Italian soda. I enjoyed the beer prices. But the entrees are a big selling point. And they were a miss. Needs improvement. Would 100% choose Olive Garden or trattoria Sara Bella over this place. The reason why my wife and I dined there was because Olive Garden and Trattoria Sara Bella were PACKED because it was a Saturday night. Carino’s was not even 50% packed. So what do you do? Place needs an adjustment. I would not spend my money here again. God bless Veronica our server. She needs to take her talents to some place where she could actually make good money. A restaurant like that should be grateful they have someone that can give too notch service like her.

Waiter was rarely with the table. Drinks came out fast but waited 40+ minutes for our main dish while another table got there's quickly after being seated. Combo meal came out half cold and Calamari had a rubbery texture. Salmon dish was very oily and buttery and could not taste the lemon notes very well.

I placed an Uber Eats order because I was too exhausted 😩 to drive 🛞 and I received these undercooked tough mushrooms. And overcooked meatballs and less than al dente tortellini. This is the 1st time I've ever had this experience. I used to work for this company and know their standards that's why I eat here. I hope this never happens again with me or anyone else. The only thing worse than receiving my to go order smeared with syrup because staff didn’t close appropriately, is Claudia’s (supervisor) attitude and unprofessionalism over the phone. Staff also forgot to include a juice box(as per usual) for the kid’s order. I don’t know why I continue to order from here, it’s a waste of money. My recommendations are to train staff better and hire people who genuinely care about doing a good job- it’ll go a long way I promise. My order wasn’t complicated, nothing complex about it. No excuse. Do better by your customers.

Their weekend crew has rocks for brains! Definitely don't order through DoorDash if you actually want to get what you ordered, especially on the weekend. At first they forgot half of my order (literally half - I'm not exaggerating). Then when DoorDash gave me the option to reorder those items, they still didn't give me my pancakes!! It's a shame, because the berry pancakes are my absolute favorite.

Yesterday I went to Corner Bakery and it was a very unpleasant experience. I went into the restroom and the floor was soaking wet because it had just been cleaned, but it was still dirty. There was something on the floor that looked like someone’s phlegm, which was extremely gross. I don’t know if that was what they were trying to clean, but it was clearly not done properly. On top of that, I saw an employee use the restroom and leave without washing her hands. On a previous visit, I also encountered vomit in the restroom. All of this completely ruined my appetite, and I left feeling nauseous after eating there. I don’t know what’s going on or if people coming here are sick, but the hygiene is unacceptable. I will not be coming back.

This was my first time eating here I walked right in order was taken got my number and receipt went to my table about 5 minutes my coffee was out to me really good coffee I thought nobody couldn’t beat McDonald’s but yeah lol soooooo I sat and sat waiting on my food so I’m like OMG!!! did they forget about my order so one waitress came over to clean the table in front of me I said to her “excuse me can you check on my order please” after sitting there literally 20 minutes she looks at my number goes to the front and ask about it I’m guessing I see the one girl look over her shoulder and goes to the computer I’m like o no they don’t even have my Oder in the computer and sho nuff my Oder wasn’t in the computer so I gets up and walk to the front as a manager meets me apologizing Im like can I get my money back I don’t even want the food I’ve waited so long she tells me it will only take about 2min for her to fix it and that she didn’t understand why the Order wasn’t in the computer and I had a receipt and the coffee that was on there I’m PISSED atp because was it that I’m ⚫️

I went there to sit down and have a nice meal. But, when I went to the counter to order, no one was there. But, I noticed someone in my right peripheral view at the register where you pick up your order. She was watching me waiting for someone to help me. She said nothing as I stood there. Finally I asked her do I order from her, she just stared at me and barely nodded her head yes. I proceeded to order and never once did she smile and acknowledge my order. I then asked her if she had heard me? She just stared at me and barely nodded her head. Never once did she utter one word to me. I then decided that I would not be ordering there and told her and I left. I have eaten there twice before and I never experienced such rudeness with an employee. I will not be visiting there anytime soon and will probably tell friends not to eat there also.

Loved coming to this place all the time but the last couple times me and my boyfriend went for date night we ended up asking for our check early. The other day we went and sat down really quickly the front ladies were amazing. Once our “waiter” got to the table he already looked like he was ready to clock out. Our drinks took about 10 mins to come out even though we were sitting by the bar and they were just waters. Waited another 10-15 mins for him to come ask for even appetizers. We ended up ordering the stuffed mushrooms as a starter and were really good. But proceeded to wait 30 -45 minutes to order our main dish because he never came up to us. He was also the bartender so maybe that was also a hold up. We got tired of waiting and walked out frustrated because we were super hungry and hopeful for a great date night for once and left unsatisfied. Carinos is not what it used to be. This is the 3rd time we have had to do this and we are actually super patient.

I’m not usually a review person but my family and I just experienced one of the worst and most disgusting experiences at this location. My mom ordered spaghetti with sliced chicken. The chicken was rubbery and smelled foul, my mom took one bite and knew it was expired chicken. Once we told the server she simply requested it be changed to spaghetti, but was brought a completely different dish and denied the plate. When the check was brought out, it stated that “customer didn’t like the food” seemed like a petty comment thrown in by the manager. The taste was not the issue..,it was the SALMONELLA that could have potentially made my mother sick. Be warned. And be careful with what you eat anywhere, wish it was taken more seriously.

That was our first and last visit to Carinos. Let me start by saying our waitress was pleasant and friendly. The food is what was offensive. I wasn't expecting Five Star dining, but I also wasn't expecting the worst food ever. My 3 year old got Mac and cheese and it was not edible. It was penne noodles covered in clumpy cheese. My Alfredo was bland and had no taste. The chicken slivers tasted like frozen Tyson strips and my noodles were gummy. My husband got the chicken pasta with mushrooms and lemon cream sauce but all it tasted like was bacon. That was it, just bacon. His noodles were more than just al dente. The potato and minestrone soup were the only thing we ate. The bread was served with no plates, no butter, no oil. Just a basket with bread in it. It was empty on a Sunday night around 4:30/4:45. We did end up returning our uneaten food, minus the soup.

The Alfredo was watered down and completely bland. For a table of four, they served just one tiny 6” piece of bread—insulting. We should have known better when we pulled into an empty parking lot. We were the only customers, and instead of tending to service, the staff were horsing around. This chain used to have standards 15 years ago, but now it’s gone downhill fast. Honestly, frozen microwave lasagna would taste better than what they’re serving. Eat here at your own risk.
