Loved this place on my first visit! The flavors are so in your face with spices and acidity. Very Thai fusion style dishes, perfect for a lighter lunch. And the cocktail was presented so nicely. The bahn mi is solid and the chicken salad mixes are great.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. The presentation of each dish was exquisite, and the flavors were equally impressive. The dessert was a delightful highlight, capping off a perfect meal. This spot is ideal for both family gatherings and romantic dates, with shareable dishes that feel truly authentic. I highly recommend checking it out—you won’t be disappointed!

The Baseline

The Baseline: For a Vietnamese cafe the Pho must be quality, the accompaniment add-in ingredients must be fresh, the meats must be well prepared, and menu must have authentic Vietnamese flavors Food: The food is high quality family style servings Vietnamese food that is great for small groups. For starters we had the Crispy Pork & Shrimp Spring Rolls and the sweet and spicy chicken wings which was a really great start of the meal. These are great starters that will not over fill you up if you are sharing. For entrees we had the Broken Bowl (which saves you on needing to order a side of rice and the chicken needs a little more lemon grass flavor), the Suon nuong grilled pork chop (a must have because the meat was really good and well flavored with Vietnamese spices), and the Bo Kho braised beef (more of a soup and a heavy star anises after taste which I have a personal dislike for). The drinks were really good and I liked the Hanoi Heatwave which was good on the spice level. Service: Good service with a staff that collaborates their duties together. They asked about allergies which was very nice due to a shell-fish allergy person at our table. Ambiance: The look and feel of the restaurant was awesome. The bathroom was clean. They have patio seating and an open window wall to let in the cool coastal air. A great location for a meal. Previous Review: This is a great high end Vietnamese restaurant. You can get traditional dishes here that you will be used to ordering at other Vietnamese restaurants, but the menu had different offerings I had to try them. I recommend the shaky shaky beef and ‘xoi’ sticky rice. The dishes are served family style so you can share with family or a group. I had some small wait time issues on my visit (nothing too bad) but, I definitely will be coming back.

This charming restaurant offers a delightful atmosphere, with large, open sides during the day that allow a refreshing breeze to flow through. The interior design is sleek and modern, with a subtle elegance. I stopped by for a quick bite and tried the “nem nuong” grilled pork spring rolls. The rolls, served with a tasty dipping sauce and a sprinkling of roasted peanuts, were flavorful, though the portion of three rolls felt slightly overpriced. However, considering the prime location and target clientele, the price is understandable.

My cousins and I ate here a few nights ago. They had been a few times before and loved it. Space itself is not huge unless you count the large outdoor seating space. Our server, Igor, did a fantastic job as did the entire staff. We had the Chicken Salad which is sharable. So great. I had the Shaky Shaky Beef with rice. Pretty amazing. The meat was so tender. The accompanying rice was also great. Would definitely recommend

In order from favorite to least. Some of the items had instructions on how to eat 5/5 Nem Nuong/Grilled Pork Spring Roll - this was my favorite, all the flavors were incredible and the dipping sauce made it even tastier 5/5 Shaky Shaky Beef - Beef was cooked perfectly (lemon, salt, spice mixture) 5/5 House Triple Garlic Noodle - Yummy, I somehow didn't think it was too garlicky, but others in the table did (mix before serving) 4/5 Black Rice - this was good, a little hard to serve with the rice at the bottom 3/5 SGV Banh Mi - would skip this, bread was too crunchy. It did taste good the next day but not at the restaurant. The fries were cooked good 5/5 Lychee Martini (requested, not on the menu) 2 single stalled restrooms were clean

A very good place to eat some Vietnamese food. I have gone to the one in DTLA but not since they closed down for covid. So decided to eat at this location. We went there on a Sunday, around 3 p.m. There was no wait time and sat down immediately. Started with some drinks, and 2 appetizers. The pork skweres (highly recommend), and the dumplings. Both a great way to start off. Then we went for shaky shaky beef, the Saigon lemongrass noodles, and the black rice. All the food had great flavors. Also happy hr starts at 3 and ends at 6. Do note that as always all these plates big enough, and meant to be shared.

There’s nothing like escaping a rainy Friday afternoon with sexy cocktails, bold flavors, and impeccable service—and Little Sister at The Point delivered flawlessly. The bartenders and entire staff are as attentive as they are charming, making you feel like a VIP from the moment you slide into your seat. Let’s talk cocktails—the XO is everything. Smooth, complex, and dangerously good, it’s the kind of drink you sip slowly just to make it last. And the Saigon Lemongrass Beef? Absolute perfection. Tender, flavorful, with just the right amount of heat—it’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more. I love the bright, inviting vibe of this location even more than their “sister” spot in Redondo Beach. It’s got a certain energy—buzzy, yet intimate—that makes every visit feel special. Can’t wait to return to either location, but this one just might be my new favorite.

Great atmosphere, food, and drinks. They bump 90’s hip hop which I thought was very cool and unique. Our favorite dishes were the dumplings and the pork belly, both unbelievable and I highly advise ordering them. Staff was friendly as well!

This really is 1 star but marked as 4-stars because I don't want this review to drag them down. However, to simply put: the best compliment you can give a place is empty plate and empty bowl. Good foods, under a starving belly , should be dead good. I'm Vietnamese, and I never once left a Pho bowl empty, I left this place's bowl of Pho pretty much full, see pics. I lived in San Diego for a year, I used to go to Orange county to get pho because it's Cali, if you going to put Pho on your menu in California, in Los Angeles, you better make sure it is somewhat decent. Don't be a gimmick. Presentation: 5, Cleanliness: 5. Service: 5. Foods: Pho is 0/5. I even asked for chili oil, hoping it would take me to next level so I can eat it. It was not edible. I'm really sorry for this review, but I don't want another person looking for easy authentic Pho on a Sunday afternoon just to come across this. My friend ordered the curry, he finished his bowl but also said it was mediocre. Try smth else on their menu, but definitely not what we ordered. Go to Little Saigon next time or some other places in LA. Owner, I'm sorry.

Great place for fusion Asian! We loved everything we ordered, and enjoyed the experience. Service is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. Gets busy for dinner, so reservations are recommended. Wish they wouldn't force a 3% credit card usage fee though!

Amazing service, festive atmosphere, reasonably priced for most things. The food was flavorful and cooked well. The eggplant dish was a bit salty and the crispy chicken a little dry but otherwise top notch. Returned here to try again. Was impressed once again. Everything was flavorful. The flavors are really strong so I’d recommend sharing. The garlic noodle was a bit too strong. I’d skip that.

The restaurant is very quiet. Corner restaurant with outside seating if you want and an open air window. There is booth seating (about 3) the rest are tables up against a padded bench with comfy pillows.

The food is good. Pricey, but tasty. I had the short rib stew, with bone marrow, and a baguette. Very strong flavor, decent portion, value for money, it's ok. Wife got the bass, it was plain, not a lot of flavor but adequate. It came with plain noodles (no flavor), lots of greens, portion size was small for the $$, so value for money was poor. We also got the garlic noodles, they were good and added a lot to the goodness of the meal, value for money was adequate, and some "spring rolls" that were fried egg rolls, lots of meat (crispy shrimp X1 and pork), but they were very tasty. Value for money just ok. Those 4 things and one tea totaled 130$. Thus the value for money section. Is there better Thai food out there at a better price, definitely. Is this good food at a high price, probably. Would I eat there again, quite possibly. Recommended as a splurge place, a date night place. But you can do as good or better and cheaper elsewhere. Although expensive, I do recommend the short rib stew. It is rich and has the price to match. Although some may think it reasonable. Overall it is an ok place. Located in an outdoor mall, in a nice part of town.

This is a modern Vietnamese restaurant, and I’ve heard that the menu varies slightly by location. It seems different from the now-closed downtown branch. Since it’s located inside a mall, there’s plenty of convenient outdoor parking, and the mall also has a play area for kids, which is a nice bonus. The prices are on the higher side, but all the recommended dishes are truly delicious. When we first visited with our kids, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, so it took some time to get everything prepared. However, the stir-fried pho, paella, and papaya salad were absolutely amazing! Since the restaurant is near the beach, it can get quite chilly inside on very windy days. The walls are made of large glass windows, so the wind hits from all sides, making the interior feel drafty.

We have given this place a try three or four times now, and just can't find a good assortment of food that we like! Unfortunately items like the sticky rice dish and tofu dish are just a weird combination of flavors that don't go well together. Too many competing flavors! The rice paper items are. pretty good. And we do like the atmosphere. However the too-high prices for dishes they try too hard to make fancy to suit the high price just don't work. Sorry guys, Go simpler and I think you might get better ratings.

I hate leaving bad reviews but me and my 23 month daughter ate here and I ordered her the chicken dumplings. I’m still so happy I cut the dumpling in half before feeding it to her because the chicken was raw. I notified the server and a manager never came. I think there were a lot of ways this could have been better handled. The server was really nice but someone who’s worked in this business before I probably would’ve notified my manager to come to the table with someone with a small child. I definitely lost my appetite and didn’t even finish my food. I’ve eaten here before and never had an issue until now. I still want to cry thinking my daughter was going to eat this. 😩

The food is good, but that is the only positive thing about this place. Despite the high prices, the service was absolutely terrible. The waitress was unfriendly, unkind, and completely unhelpful. Her attitude made us feel unwelcome from the start. What made it even worse was that the tip was already included due to the number of people at our table, and she clearly knew this. Because of that, her effort to provide decent service was minimal to nonexistent. We felt ignored and poorly treated throughout the entire meal. Paying expensive prices and still receiving such awful service is extremely disappointing. Good food does not make up for terrible service, and unfortunately, this experience ruined the visit completely.
