Finally found a great pizza place with no pork! Had grandma slice and it was really good. I usually left the crust but this one is very crunchy I ended up eating the whole thing. One specialty slice was $4.50. Best pizza around the hood, definitely will come back.

Best, most consistent grandma slice in Queens. Going to Louie's I can always expect a great slice and not only is it consistent but the flavor is unmatched for what I've found so far on Long Island. If I'm craving pizza I'm going to Louie's. This is one of those places where it doesn't need toppings to make the slice good, it's already very flavorful, but the toppings bring it to the next level. Their service is excellent and calling over the phone is quick, and efficient. My only gripe would be that the checkout area could use a bit more table space to place your box to add seasoning, but other than that, 10/10.

If you want authentic fresh homemade Italian with large portions at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go. Don't expect to get waited on. However, placing your order at the counter was easy. The seating is basic with diner like seating and a few tables but plenty of space adequate for a small family owned well run restaurant that does non-stop take-out as well. I had the linguine seafood, and it was awesome. A very large, filling bowl with homemade linguine pasta and plenty of seafood. A bargain at $15. We also ordered several other dishes (that were awesome) and a pizza as well. We ended up taking the pizza home it was so large. I highly recommend you try their food. I know it will become one of your New York favorites.

Louie’s was fantastic. Best buffalo slice I’ve had in a while. Buffalo Wings are fantastic. Pepperoni slice on point!!!

Found this place on Google after reading lots of great reviews. Never been to New York so this was the first stop after flying in. Apparently the owner knew we were tourists by the wide eyed looks on our faces! 🤣Immediately he says “Where are you guys from?” Then after a brief conversation about the menu (all while he was helping other customers, cutting pizzas, making boxes, answering phones, taking payment, etc.) he convinced us to order a whole Grandma pizza. This man is a 5 star multi-tasker! We sat down and didn’t wait too long before it was hot and freshly ready. The first bite was scorching hot but we simply could not put it down! The flavor was exquisite! Crispy on bottom, soft on top, light and flavorful toppings. It looks so simple but the flavors packed a punch! We ended up ordering a couple more slices to try other things and all were amazingly delicious! Thanks for the great food! Props to the cooks and owner who keep this place hopping.

The food was phenomenal! The flavor is on point! Not too salty and not diluted with so many artificial flavors! The pizza is one of the best! Can compete with the more popular chains in the city! Hefty serving that will leave you extremely full! The owner was extremely kind, accommodating and extremely patient especially for new customers like us! The place feels like home to be honest! Definitely a gem!

I moved out of New York a couple years ago, Louie's has a lot of fond memories when I used to stop by with my mom. Right down the street, Louie's always manning the station and super easy to talk to. It's about as New York as it gets. I've tried Grandma Pies in 5 different states and 2 countries at this point and nothing compares. Portion sizes are also great too, glad but not surprised to see the place is doing well. I'll visit again some time! - Chris

$52 for 8 slices of pizza, garlic knots, pasta, and drinks. And the owner was absolutely amazing! He told us some good places to eat in the city, he was an absolutely amazing guy, and made great conversations with us. He seemed to connect with every person that came into his restaurant whether he knew them before or not. And not only was the service absolutely outstanding, but the food was BEYOND AMAZING! The grandma's pizza was to die for! The pepperoni pizza was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure what pasta he gave us, and I'm not sure what magic he put in it but it was phenomenal. I'm running out of synonyms for great to use for this place. If I EVER come back to NYC I will no questions asked come back! What the owner has built isn't just a building or a restaurant, it's something more. You can tell just by looking how much people love this place!

La Fusta is one of those places that you don't want to miss when you are exploring new Yorks restaurants. I went with my wife today and we had an amazing time. The American grill was superb, enough food to fill us up and even to take home at good prices, amazing and flavorful meats. The service was out of this world, with our servant caressing every little detail and establishing a true relationship with us. La Fusta never fails, we’ve been coming here for the past 10 years. Food is always consistent and delicious 😋 our go to orders are two American grills with spinach and broccoli and of course their signature red sangria. Staff is very attentive and kind. We love this place. They also validate parking at a garage nearby after 6pm!

Excellent steak and fish. Fresh salads. We had a business meeting here and this place is easily able to accommodate a small group of people. They have a TV and we were able to hook up a computer with HDMI cable. Service was swift and efficient. Also, this restaurant is right across from Elmhurst hospital. Occasional ambulance sirens would not spoil an overall good experience.

Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and friendly servers. Food and drinks were mostly on point. The empanadas (beef, chicken, and spinach) were all great. The entrana (skirt steak) was the highlight of the American Grill. Free bread and chimichurri refills. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were a bit bland, but fine.

Visited looking for argentinian empanadas while walking around the area and the many eateries near the subway - we found here the best argentinian empanadas in the city so far 🔥 We ordered one of each for take out: spinach, chicken and beef + 2 Quilmes beers (USD$24 including taxes) and they were ON POINT - very well seasoned, beautifully made, the chimichurri sauce, the eggs and the olives gave it the perfect touch 👍🏻 We are looking forward to going back to give their main dishes a try 🌝

We were three people, on Monday. As soon as we sat down they brought us chimichurri and hot bread. We ordered meat empanadas as appetaizer and provoletta with oregano. Then a 20 oz flap steak that come with a side (we ordered Russian salad) and an avocado salad. For dessert pancakes with dulce de leche. I must say that all the food seemed very good to us, the attention was also very good from the waiters who were there today. I would return and I would also recommend it, I liked it a lot 👍

Fabulous meal with amazing service. I have no idea why anyone had a complaint everything about this restaurant was perfect. Had the La Fusta Salad, Argentinian grill for 2 and the flan. Amazing food well portioned. I also had a perfectly made Bourbon Manhatten. I am going back for sure.

La Fusta offers a classic Argentinian dining experience with a warm atmosphere and exceptional service. The standout for me was the chimichurri – garlicky, flavorful, and perfect with bread. I finished the whole serving! The beef empanadas were also memorable, packed with juicy, well-seasoned meat. The Cream of Shrimp soup, while generous with shrimp, tasted more like a creamy chicken noodle. It needed more seafood flavor. The 20oz Shell Steak was tender and cooked to perfection though a little extra char and seasoning would have elevated it. And the Fettuccine with Meatballs was satisfying but could’ve had a bit more depth. Overall, a solid experience – I’d definitely return!

We dined tonight, and usually, the skirt steak is tender and cooked perfectly. It was chewy tonight. The waiter replaced it with the shell steak, butterflied, and it was much jucier and better. The mashed potatoes were delicious 😋 The white sangria was full to the top with lots of fruit. It's very refreshing on a warm summer evening.

The Service was the best of all the restaurants I have been visited in New York , the food was good and not on the top though. Only one thing I could say it is the table quite small , not enough to place the dish 😂. The environment Exactly looks/feels like in Argentina, you would know what I mean.

It's an old hidden gem , with good food. I enjoyed my chicken with lemon and wine sauce . And so did my partner enjoy his steak. If you love sangria you must have a cup. I recommend this place. The only thing I found unpleasant was the cocktail shrimp it was salty.

Longtime Favorite, But Slipping Fast! We’ve been loyal customers for years, but this visit was disappointing across the board. • Grill: Ordered the large Argentinian grill medium rare, but it came out well-done. And the meat lacked quality. • Sides: Ordered special fries, received regular ones. Veggie options were limited to spinach or broccoli—but spinach wasn’t available. • Service: Only one server for the entire restaurant. Water wasn’t refilled, and basic bathroom supplies like toilet paper and hand soap were missing. The price is still reasonable, but the overall experience has declined sharply. Sad to say, it feels like the place has changed for the worse.

The décor at La Fusta was lovely, but the overall dining experience fell short. The steak arrived semi-cold, the sangria seemed to be only red wine without liquor or sweetener, and the Russian potato salad was quite dry. In addition, the delivery of food took longer than expected. Hoping these areas improve, as the atmosphere has great potential.

Gave them 2 chances. Steaks not cooked to my order. Appetizers not good. Cold antipasto is potatoe salad and slice of ham, no cheese. Over priced. Gave it a third try and food was very bad. The chicken with mushroom sauce was like chicken with Campbell's Tomato soup. My steak was so tough I needed an extra sharp knife.
