Cancun Mexican and Seafood

Everything in this place was amazing, good carne asasa, good pork, and good people, would recommend to any person who has ever liked food. I got a carne asada burrito and it was the best burrito I’ve ever personally had, great tortilla, and the steak is seasoned perfect. 10/10 would recommend.

It was great had a party of 12 including 5 kids! They were great! When we pulled up we had our doubts because its space is shared with a 7-11 in front. They had menudo on a Tuesday, the fish dish my had was superb. The French fries are perhaps the best in my life. And the menudo was really good!

Love this place, hidden behind a 711 but always brings business. Always nice to have the cashier greet you when you walk in the door... every time. With so many places in SD to choose from, this local spot brings the locals hungry for some post Swami Carne Asada Nachos or a Cali burrito!

This is one of my regular Mexican restaurants. The staff know us and are kind. They've never made a mistake on my order. I also like it because Berri Brothers gas is pretty cheap, so I fill up when I grab my food. One of our post-workout stops in case we're starving.

Simply put, this is the only restaurant, from China to Paris, that makes me feel like home. I have consistently come back here for north of a decade and always looked forward to my next visit. Thank you guys and I look forward to my next Cali burrito!!!!

New spot with the best quality. Salsa is interesting and diff than what I’m used to around the area. But overall 9/10 amazing

Just ate here the food was so delicious I’m not from the area but definitely stopping next time we are coming through, I was not expecting it to be so good. We ordered the surf and turf burrito and shredded beef tacos both were very tasty

So delicious and enough food to feed an army. We are visiting from Canada and love to find little local hidden gems. This is one! Burrito was Huge, my son LOVED the shrimp plate and the salsa was the best ever. Would eat here again and again if we lived closer!

I've come here quite a few times and have tried multiple items from their menu: grilled fish tacos, crispy beef tacos, fried fish tacos, ceviche tostada, spicy carrots.... and the churros (dont skip that, they are caramel filled!). I've tried almost all of their salsa's as well and I think the mild red and mango habenero is my favorite. You really cant go wrong, everything is freshly made with quality ingredients. The restaurant is very clean and the service is so friendly. 100% rescommend. Not just for a quick taco but for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Such a great restaurant! The food is delicious; the menu extensive, offering traditional Mexican dishes most other small Mexican restaurants don't offer. Wonderful seafood choices, too. It's very friendly, super clean and it has a great, varied Salsa Bar. They also give you complimentary chips with your order. Highly recommended.

Idk abt other items on the menu but regarding the veggie burrito no cheese and horchata is worth getting. Delish! :)

Walked in after a long day at Lego Land with 4 families. Staff was terrific. Food was fast and very good with no errors. Crazy awesome since we had 24 orders! Flour tortillas were absolutely fantastic. Would totally recommend this place

This place is great. It's hidden within a gas station parking lot. We were a group of about 20 & called ahead to see if there was enough space for us. They said yes they could take us in, they even clean/organized 5 tables and reserved them for us. Friendly staff, that take pride in serving REALL AUTHENTIC mexican food. Very casual place & just the right price for a family of five. The also sell beer. This is a "must go to place" when you are in the area. Enjoy!

Wow. So delicious! My husband got the breaded fish and carnitas tacos and I got carne asada and Adobada. They were all so delicious! They were regular size tacos, but came double up with two tacos and a good portion of filling. They were full of flavor! Don't let the gas station location throw you off, this is a hit!

Delicious Homemade tasting Mexican food. Very mom & pop style and literally inside a gas station! We tried it out because of all the good reviews. My family each had different items and they were all delicious. Lots of all you can drink Horchatas and juices too! Just not a good place to impress a date.lol

The nacho plate did not skimp on the guacamole. Likely in the top 5 best nachos I’ve ever had.

Don't let the location scare you off. I love this place. The grilled fish burrito is my favorite in Encinitas.

I actually went to the 7-Eleven that's also part of this building. I did not get any Mexican food. However, it smelled good from where I was at. But my review goes to 7-Eleven. It was very nice and welcoming. I bought a bunch of snacks and cigarettes and had no issue whatsoever.

Customer Service exceptional. Food delicious. We had 7 Mares soup, Grilled fish and a Campechana.

I almost did'nt find this place because what you see first is a gas station. You have to go in and on the side in the back is this eating place. The portions are small for the price.

This used to be our go to spot when in the area. We live in south county and we would get off the freeway and make our way over to eat many times as we drive by. Recently they increased prices by 30 percent on some items. Not worth the effort at that point sadly. Food is fresh made to order and service is always friendly. There are other ways to increase margins besides gouging the guest. We will still come but not a much

I have the octopus and shrimp cocktail with an adobada taco. Service was efficient, prompt, and friendly. If you aren't expecting white glove service, it will fit your needs. Value was exactly average for what you'd expect considering location. I'll be back for another late night snack.

Good Mexican food. Hidden behind the 7-11. They have a big menu but I always get the al pastor burrito. My only gripe was they charge way too much for a drink. It was almost $3.00 for a self service fountain drink. You can go next door to 7-11 and get your drink for a dollar.

Over-priced burritos hardly any flavor to it. In fact, the main thing you can taste are the beans. No cheese either. Decent burrito it does fill u up but they can way much better for the price they are.

That was the worst California burrito I've ever had. Bland, too much sour cream, little meat and couple fries and where is the cheese? (Oh there it is in the corner) and about $16 plus $2 tip.. not worth it. Didn't even enjoy it. What a bummer.

Surf and turf burrito was a giant let down,bit was on the smaller side for a 16 dollar burrito, mostly rice and for some odd reason - giant chunks of onions and bell peppers. Not our favorite version of a surf and turf burrito but also wasn’t the worst. That said, staff were very friendly and the mango habanero salsa was very good.

Overpriced meals in to-go platters. Said they were out of oysters and instead of deducting costs, they added an extra orange slice to compensate. If you like your seafood drenched in ketchup, you will like this place. They do have good salsas though. Food used to be great but after the most recent service and food provided, we will definitely never return.

Mid-level at best. I got a California burrito and the carne was cooked like roast beef. The grilled chicken on the torta was chopped up into little bits. Bad texture on the meats and weird flavors.

I ordered a shredded beef burrito & bean n cheese. The beef one is 90% refried beans!! Can you say RIP-OFF?!?

It would be nice if they were actually open during posted business hours. Says they open at 8 am. Showed up at 9:45 and they were closed even though it was evident that employees were present. Instead of explaining, they turned their backs and acted like I wasn’t trying to open the door.

Rude service, fish taco is more than 5$ and had moldy tortillas with blue spots on them. The taco is small and tasteless. The bathroom is 'out of service' but you can still use it if they tell you the code. Angelo's fish tacos are big and way better tasting for the same price.

My 1st time eating there. I used their tap and pay payment system to pay for a $22.00 meal with a debit card. Later to find out that I was charged for other things which involves shopping for with a total of $242. I tried calling the restaurant to resolve the problem and they kept hanging up on me. I initially had a very bad experience there and had to call block, lock and shutdown my bank debit card with my bank from any further Unauthorized debit transactions from this place.

Only thing I wouldn't complain about is the Cheese quesadilla because how do you screw that up..also over priced and I won't ever come back and if I were you I'd save my money.
