Our Friend Vahe took us this week for a Tapas Treat to this gem on Ventura Blvd. They have been serving the valley with excellent Tapas for 20+ years. We went all the way - tried and shared most of the small tapas - croquetas, mushroom, shrimp, patatas and all the little baguette delicacies - and had a really good time. They have live music - a wonderful guitar player - on some days. If you like Spanish guitar worth checking out his dates in the place. If you care for Tapas - this is the right place.
This was my first time here and I have been wanting some tapas. We made reservations for this place through Open Table. We went during happy hour which had a few items that were available for $9 including some wine. We tried a few things from the tapas mine as well as from the main menu. We tried the shrimp ceviche, the chicken strips with fries, ham croquettes, calamari, bataas bravas salmon slider with fries and their empanadas. The food was pretty good. We really enjoyed the empanadas. We tried some of the wine on the tapas menu. I want to shout out the server who was subbing for his wife because he doesn't actually work there but he did a great job. Thank you, Enrique! Such a sweet staff. At night time they do have some entertainment but we missed it. We left around 6pm. This place looks deceivingly small from the outside but on the inside they have several areas for large groups. Honestly, I would definitely come back here again.
I was not expecting such a venue with live music wine bar in the area. The place is quite popular even on a Tuesday night. We totally enjoyed the live music The happy hour offering was quite good as well! Impressive wine selection for $8 a glass! The happy hour menu. We had the burger slider, a thick chunk of angus beef burger was juice and flavorful. It comes with blue cheese , as to put on the side if you are not a big fan of it. The ceviche was pretty decent as well with chunks of prawn in it. Though I wish they were more generous with the prawns chunks. The croqueta was just ok. Street parking was fairly good on a Tuesday night, but would have nice to get a free parking.
Vino Vine & Tapas is one of those spots I always look forward to. I love it for the live music, it gives the place such a warm, easy energy. The food never disappoints either: the hummus is smooth and flavorful, and the champiñones soup is honestly to die for, not even mention their salads. Add in the brie, and you’ve got the perfect spread to enjoy with a glass of wine or honey bubble shampaigne
This traditional Spanish restaurant Is such a beautiful and pleasant location. The attention to detail In all of the sections of the restaurant are stunning rustic and very romantic. They have a Dinning Room indoors That Is set up absolutely beautiful with a large wood Dinning Table set perfectly for that special event you are looking for. They have a romantic vibe throughout the entire restaurant . They have an outdoor patio area with a cabana and lounge area that make you feel as if you are on vacation in Spain. The food was fresh and delicious. Our server Masha Welcomed us and made us feel right at home . The dim lighting And the light music playing in the background set the tone perfectly . I cannot wait to come back and enjoy more time here.
One of the best date spots in the valley. Love the food and wine selection. The chicken and chorizo paella is incredibly reminiscent of Spain. It's hard not to order it upon every visit. Servers are always kind and super helpful. The only downfall of this place is that it's pretty tough to get seated without a reservation. But that's just a testament to how amazing this place is. The romance turns up a level when the guitarist starts to play. There are no bad tapas, and every dish I have tried has been outstanding. Though, it's the paella that keeps me coming back.
Delicious tapas. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes, and the happy hour was a sweet deal too. Incredibly affordable. Parking is not bad. There’s a lot of street parking and lots across the street.
If your somewhere in Encino on Ventura Blvd. on the south side of the street, there's this well established wine bar that has a cool glass electric sign in red called Vino. They have a tasty Happy Hour from 3:30 to 6pm with all the Tapas/Small Bites you love. Extensive red/white wines, flight offerings and beer. Staff is friendly and attentive, without the highbrow side-eyes. Cool music, lighting and reasonable pricing, it won't empty your wallet. I took just a couple of pics, not wanting to look like that influencer guy.... Do pay them a visit if in Encino.
Amazing hidden gem in Los Angeles. The perfect date spot. They have an outside patio and play relaxing live music. Highly recommend trying the ‘Albariño’ bottle (white wine). They have amazing cheese platters and appetizers. Nonie and Alex have always been so attentive and informative. Love this place. Must stop by.

The private party at this restaurant was fantastic. The room for the party (about 20 people) was separated from the main restaurant. The food was very good and service excellent. Even connected to TV on the wall to run photo album. We thoroughly enjoyed ourself.
Ordered seafood paella, salmon slider, marinated manchego and naranja. Salmon and paella could have used a little more seasoning. Marinated Manchego and naranja salad were really good. Mixed thoughts on the food.

Vinos is hands down one of my favorite spots in Tarzana. It’s the perfect combo of a cozy wine bar and a lively tapas restaurant. The small plates are super flavorful and authentic, and the wine selection is excellent. Great atmosphere too — definitely worth checking out.
Wow! What an incredible gem on Ventura Blvd! Yay! Happy hour! And another after 10pm! Firstly, our server Star, who also may have actually been the manager, was absolutely wonderful. What a doll. She was attentive, delightful to talk to, and very informative with the extensive wine menu. While my guest is a wine snob, I know basically nothing about anything to do with wine. She was very patient with me and actually taught me quite a lot over the short amount of time we spent there for dinner. She made us feel very welcomed in a new space and if the food had sucked, she would have made up for it, thankfully though it didn't! Speaking of the food. Kiss the chef. I could eat the Patatas Bravas Every. Single. Day. The lentils ("Lentejas"), were warm and felt somehow nostalgic to a home cooked meal. We shared a plate of the "Montaditos", which was great for getting a couple different flavors that we could both enjoy. The goat cheese is incredible. The perfect size to accompany a glass of wine if you're not overly hungry or a big eater, or in a hurry! This goes for the olives and almonds ("Aceitunas Y Alendras") too! The prawns while on the pricey side, worth it. That could be an entree with how fat and tasty they are, though I could never come back and only eat those alone. Too many other good options. Very much looking forward to coming back and trying something else! Glad a good restaurant still stands strong on Ventura!
This place has such a lovely, welcoming vibe, perfect whether you're on a date night or out with the family. I especially appreciated the chill atmosphere with the soft lighting and live guitar – a welcome change from the usual big screen bar spots. They've got a great drinks selection for unwinding, and with those three spacious areas, including a really nice outdoor spot, it seems ideal for get-togethers. There was a slight hiccup with one of my repeated tapas orders almost being forgotten, but the manager was so attentive and insisted on bringing it out and taking it off the bill, which I really appreciated. Even with that minor issue, the quality of the tapas was fantastic and makes me really want to go back and try the main dishes. Definitely adding this to my list of recommended places for a relaxed and enjoyable time
Just spent a wonderful Galentine’s Day here with a group of girlfriends. We had an amazing dinner, especially the garlic chicken, hummus, and mushrooms. The service was attentive, and they also have a private area in the back that’s perfect for larger groups.
Work christmas 🎄 party was there. The place atmosphere is amazing. There was a guitar man playing flamenco. The food, wine, and croquetas de pollo were so good. Dssert was ok. I really recommend this place if you go as a couple or with friends. I've been there a few times and it is always such a good experience. Since we went at around 8p.m. it was hard to find parking near. Some of us ended up parking at the shopping center across the street 😬.
Really cute place and the patio was nice. Went on a Sunday night and getting a table was no problem. The food was very good as was the wine. Our server did mess up both our drink and food orders though.

Bad service. The waitress excuses for slow service was because of a private party, really? So everyone else in the restaurant has to wait because of a party? So we are dining for free that we don't deserve the same service? Food is ok, not as I expected.
The food is pretty good here and it has a nice little ambiance. Loved the live music although it was a little too loud for such a small and almost empty room. My one big complaint is that this restaurant is in need of refurbishment. Unfortunately it has a musky smell and it might be from the old carpeting on the floors...also the chair cushions seemed really old too. Not sure if we'll return because this factor was off putting but I'd love to be a regular customer otherwise.

It's a nice little restaurant that has a welcoming vibe. Good for a more casual date it to hang with friends and pre game before going out. Food isn't terrible but there's better in the area for the same price or less. Wine selection is good. The flights are a good deal and offer some interesting wines The short rib was good. Tiny bit drier than id like but good
Service was terrible: no one was there to seat us when we arrived and the restaurant wasn’t even busy; the second sangria never came after we ordered it; the dessert took so long that I was bored and read the menu again (yes, the menu was still on the table after we finished our meal) and saw the sneaky fine footprint on the menu stated prices reflect cash pricing, a 3.8% fee is charged for credit card transactions. I usually don’t mind poor service as long as food was good, but the food was really mediocre: the eggplant and veggies were burnt, the filet mignon was overcooked, and the dessert was supposed to come with fresh berries, instead it came with half of a stale strawberry. The only positive was the live music added a relaxing vibe to the restaurant.

Come on, there is nothing Spanish in that food. Don't get fooleed with the claim "real spanish tapas". Nothing similar. Paella is like an insult to Spanish cuisine. SPANISH DO NOT PUT CHORIZO IN THE PAELLA. Service is not good either, the place is kind of nice. But as I Spaniard I feel insulted with the food. And of course over priced.
I used to like this place a while ago. I went there, and they had bad service. They looked to be short of staff because they had a private party. I ordered a glass of wine and one appetizer. The waiter never got to ask me if I was ready for something else; instead, he gave me the receipt to pay, like kicking me out pretty much. I never asked for the receipt, so how did he assume I was not going to order dinner? Everyone who walks through the door expects good service, not just the private party people. If you are not interested in providing good service for everyone don't open your place for business. No not going there anymore.
