I really like the interior and the selection of goodies to accompany the coffee! They cater from the ultimate cookie up in SF and me being a cookie monster, had to try their walnut Florentine, a first for me! Good coffee and great pairing! I think I might’ve had two or three questions for the barista which she didn’t seem to know the answer to. Totally OK, might be new to the job. All-around nice local business so five stars!
Tried the seasonal tiramisu latte. Came out to $7+ for a med. staff was friendly and helped clean off a table when requested. Nice ambience for studying and getting work done.
Clocktower Coffee is an amazing coffee spot with good working space, a wide variety of pastries, and of course delicious coffee. I got one of their specials, the large coconut macadamia latte, and a sesame bagel with cream cheese, which came to less than $10. The coffee had the right amount of sweetness and flavor to it, and is going to be one of my go-tos. The bagel was fresh and toasted. There's a pretty nice working space as well with a fair amount of tables so it's a good spot to get work done.
This is an awesome local coffee shop that fosters a sense of community. I don't come here for the best beans or for third wave coffee, but do come here for the great vibes and comfy experience. Would recommend for anyone looking for the same.
This café nails it across the board: ✔ Exceptional coffee—bold, smooth, and consistently great ✔ Friendly, efficient service—they remember your order and greet you with a smile ✔ Inviting atmosphere—perfect for a quick recharge or a focused work session Whenever I’m in Santa Clara for business, this is my go-to stop.
This review is about the coffee only. I come here every single day, and get either the Brazil drip coffee or a cold brew. I also get coffee for the house. The coffee beans are fresh roasted every day/every other day. The whole shop always smells like freshly roasted coffee. I’ve talked to the owner, and he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the whole roasting and brewing process. This shop started out in 1998, and has been going strong ever since. He’s shown me the massive water filter that leads to pure water being used, which makes the coffee taste and smell only like coffee. Fantastic coffee shop overall. I appreciate the frequency of daily roasting which keeps coffee fresh, and the overall friendly vibe and family like atmosphere of the shop. I highly recommend the drip or cold brew. My one complaint is there’s very few mugs and cups, mostly everything is TOGO. I find that hot water into a TOGO cup messes up the flavor and gives me a stomach ache, and I find real mugs and glasses are part of a nice coffee shop vibe. So I’d recommend to bring your own water bottle. I also don’t like the fact that the surrounding is a parking lot, but that complaint maps more to American Suburbia and isn’t specific to this coffee shop. The coffee is so good though that this small complaint doesn’t change my five star rating.
What a cool cafe. Did a stop by as I was having my car charged at the EV station and discovered this gem. Looks to be family owned perhaps. Got the banana latte with the breakfast wrap and a Cookie. All great with amazing customer service. New discovered spot added to my list. Cool Cosy vibe inside Def try it
Clocktower Coffee is one of our favorite coffee shops in the area. They have good coffee and a very big selection of snacks and pastries. I like that the snacks are pretty unique, you won’t find them at other coffee shops! They also sell gifts and cards. And the interior overall is nice and cozy.
Super cute coffee shop with delicious options. I opted for the Pumpkin Spice White Mocha, I was very impressed. Not overly sweet and still had a smooth coffee flavor. I also ordered a blueberry muffin and it was delicious! Great crumb and lots of blueberries. If your in the area I highly recommend it.
Best cold brew in town! I come here almost every day for my cold brews. The staff know my order as a regular and are always very friendly. On busy days like Fridays you might have a hard time finding seating, but overall it is a great cafe— clean and tidy. The only thing I would say needs improvement is how the cashiers are trained on the till, because my cold brew appears to change in price every time I go (50c to $1 differences) based on how they add the Oat Milk to the order. Despite this, I still recommend the cold brew to all my friends! Nowhere else does it better IMO!
☕ Espresso Quality: The espresso at Clock Tower Coffee is decent. It's a well-made shot that satisfies the coffee craving. 🌳 Scenery and Ambiance: A major highlight of this cafe is the nice scenery and ambiance. It's a very pleasant and relaxing setting to enjoy a drink. 💻 Study/Work Area: The café offers a big area specifically for working or studying. This is a great feature for students, remote workers, or anyone needing space to focus. 👍 Overall Impression: Clock Tower Coffee is a solid choice, especially if you're looking for a great atmosphere and a dedicated space to work or study. The decent espresso combined with the excellent setting makes it a highly recommended spot.
CCRC is a quiet, under the radar coffee place in a very nice neighborhood. The coffee selection is not as diverse as Starbucks but has many unique flavors like "Spring Lavender Latte". Pros: - Large selection of coffee, tea and pastries. - Great location, the neighborhood is good to walk around. - EV charging in the same campus. Cons: - Coffee was not very hot. - Limited seating, the place can get very crowded at times.
Nice little neighborhood coffee shop and roaster in a quiet location. Selections of coffee and beans are great. Good outdoor seating and taste of coffee. [Coffee Experience] The coffee here has a good variety and taste. They have a great selection of drinks. When you buy coffee bags, they give you a free drink which is nice! Also, they give you a good amount of beans for the piece. However, Purchasing bags of coffee can be mysterious since they don’t put the roast date on the bag. Coffee tasted fresh enough, but for the serious coffee connoisseur this is important. [Customer Service] Everyone here was super friendly! It appears to be a family run shop which I appreciate! I always prefer these shops to Starbucks or other big chains. I felt welcomed when I came here! I recommend giving this place a shot! Loved the vibe, the staff, and the coffee!
No light roast. No pourovers. I ordered cappuccino "for here" and it came in a cardboard cup. Easy parking in strip mall. Crème brûlée cheesecake was a nice dense cheesecake but see with a *soft* brown top and no discernable caramel taste.
The shop is a cozy spot to work or study and offers amenities like charging and wifi. The coffee, however, was disappointing. I ordered their medium roast, and it tasted burnt—there were no discernible flavor notes. For caffeine, it will do the trick, but if you are coming to try the coffee, there are better alternatives in the area.
I just visited Clocktower Coffee, and overall, it’s a great spot with a lively, inviting atmosphere. The space is buzzing with energy—diverse patrons, friendly staff, and a barista who crafted a café cortado for me. It’s clearly a popular local hangout, and for good reason. However, the experience took a disappointing turn with the pastries. We ordered the carrot cake and chocolate cake, expecting a nice treat to go with the beautiful weather and great coffee. Unfortunately, both were overly sweet and lacked balance. Within minutes, it felt like a sugar bomb hit the stomach—definitely not the quality you’d expect given the otherwise right vibe of the place. With such a prime location and a strong coffee game, I really hope they consider upgrading their pastry offerings. It would elevate the entire experience to match the great vibes they’ve already built.
Absolute disgrace. My pregnant wife went in and asked them for water. She had no wallet with her and I was still parking the car. She was told he can’t have even a glass of water without paying. When she told them she would pay once I come in, they laughed at her face and told her thats not their problem. This place doesn’t care about the wellbeing of their customers. Do yourself a favor and go to the nearby Starbucks.
