Vi har varit här minst fem gånger på en månad. Hela familjens favoritställe. Allt är gott men vår absoluta favorit är Sizzling duck. Nudlar med gambas och vitlök är också supergod. Älskade broccolin också. Dessutom är servicen superbra och de är otroligt trevliga. Rekommenderar varmt att gå hit.

When you return to one of your favorite restaurants after 3 years, Covid and whatnot - and find the quality and staff friendliness to be exactly how it was…. What else could you ask for. And the staff even remember that there can never be enough coriander in the dishes. I am officially impressed. Still the best Thai between Malaga and Cadiz.

We always eat at Thapa Thai when we are in Estepona on our holiday. I love the green curry, and the Pad Thai was very good as well. The staff is very friendly and it's nice to sit on the terras and have a view at the harbor.

Unfassbar leckeres Essen!!! Ich war schon Thailand und liebe die Küche dort. Im Thapa Thai waren wir innerhalb von 5 Tagen direkt zwei mal, obwohl wir eigentlich die Landesküche genießen wollten, aber es war soooo lecker. Nirgendwo habe ich bisher Gerichte essen können, die an die Originale in Thailand heran kamen. Sowohl das grüne Curry als auch das Massaman Curry waren an Aromen kaum zu übertreffen. Hinzukommt, dass die Kellner unheimlich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend sind und man merkt, dass der Chef seinen Laden liebt und voll im Griff hat. Andere negative Bemerkungen kann ich keineswegs bestätigen. Ich kann mir gewissen Rezensionen nur durch einen andere Koch erklären. 5 Daumen hoch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Voor de derde keer in dit leuke restaurant in Estepona gaan eten. Zeker een aanrader! De patron spreekt Nederlands en dat is fijn. Als aanrader qua menu raad ik "a night in Phuket" aan. 😉

..... wir sind nicht in Spanien um : die Küche anderer Länder zu verköstigen denn wir sind im Land der Tapas, der wunderbaren mediterranen Küche. Aber es war heiß, und unser Boot liegt am Ponton gegenüber, also ein kurzer Weg, der sich mehr als gelohnt hat. Wer in Thailand war kennt die Küche und das Thapa Thai ist ganz nah dran, ehrliche , knackige, frische Gerichte bei der Hitze genau das Richtige. Das Personal sehr umtriebig ohne aufdringlich zu sein, Arbeit wird gesehen und diskret erledigt, genauso wie etwaige zusätzliche mögliche Wünsche erahnt werden. Preis Leistung, dürfte im Vergleich mehr kosten bei dem was geboten wird.

From start to finish a pleasure. I ordered as I was sitting down and proceeded to light a cigarette. In typical thai style the food was sitting in front of me before I could finish, and it was delicious! Very reasonable too for the location. The staff couldn't have been nicer, both friendly and efficient. 10/5

We ate there for the first time 3 nights ago and have been back twice more and will be dining there tomorrow and Sunday too! Fabulous dishes, attentive and wonderful staff, beyond fair prices and great portion sizes. Their dessert menu is really unique and varied too! We will miss dining at this wonderful restaurant when we go back home again … Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

We previously ate here several years ago on a previous holiday and remembered we enjoyed the food so decided to come back. The food was as good as we remembered and the restaurant is in a nice setting in the marina. They have a good range of vegetarian options too and also child friendly. We will come back when next visiting Estepona.

Heerlijk gegeten, rode cury met kip en noedels met kip de currry deed mij denken aan de vroegere afhaal Thais eten op de straatweg in Rotterdam maar dan wel van plus minus 15 jaar geleden deze was ook de beste Thais eten van Rotterdam en daarbuiten! Ik raad iedereen aan om van tevoren te reserveren! En wat mij betreft ik ga hier vaker eten!

This is an amazing little Thai restaurant serving some fresh, cooked to order food that I just can't fault. The quality of the food is beaten only by the kindness of the waiting staff. Gives me an impression of being an authentic, fresh, family-run place that I will certainly be coming back to. If you feel a little adventurous try out the coconut chicken soup. Best tasting dish of the night for us!

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Genuine Thai food and they have our all-time favorite dessert: mango sticky rice, which was excellent. Very friendly staff as well. We'll definitely come back on our next visit to Estepona.

Leuk Thais restaurant in de haven van Estepona. De Eigenaar, aanname, spreekt goed Nederlands wat natuurlijk makkelijk is. De gerechten waren lekker en het menu heeft een mooie prijs. Zeker een aanrader!

We have been coming here for many years and the owner always recognises us making us feel very welcome, even somehow fitting us in when the place is full. Most of the time we have the “set menu for 2” which is such good value at 22 euros each. To start you get prawn toast, spare rib, spring roll, a fried dumpling and the best chicken satay skewer 😋 Then main includes sweet & sour king prawns (the biggest !!) inside half pineapple, sizzling duck in satay sauce (amazing) accompanied with traditional sticky rice & jasmin rice. Then a desert is also included but we are usually to full 😂 The wine selection is good and really reasonable, we always have the “La Tapa Loca” Rueda Verdejo which is a great accompaniment to the fantastic flavours of the food. The staff are excellent and so friendly making sure they look after you even when busy. Can’t wait to come back 🙌

Totalmente recomendable, ambiente intimo frente al puerto. La atención inmejorable. Muy buena calidad y cantidad abundante. Comimos cuatro personas con dos entrantes: (2 raciones de rollitos tailandeses con pollo) tres platos principales (dos Patos Pekín y un Pato a la Naranja) y un arroz con verduras. Todo excelente, sobre todo el Pato Pekín con crepes. Quedamos totalmente saciados a un precio muy aceptable, 20€ por persona.

Muy buen restaurante. Acabamos de cenar y la verdad que muy contentos Hemos tomado rollitos de pollo y verdura, pato a la salsa de mango, arroz con gambas y una sopa Thai. De postre un arroz con leche de coco Todo muy rico y los camareros muy atentos

Обслуживание было быстрое и хорошее. Еда была нормальная, порция супа была маленькой там плавала три креветки и несколько кусочков шампиньона. Если берёте Kari будьте готовы, что дополнительно нужно заплатить за рис или лапшу.

Estupendo resto de comida tailandesa. Probé con mi esposa varios platos, algunos me gustaron más que otros (los condimentos asiáticos no son para todos) Sacamos varias fotos de lo degustado. Tiene una terraza muy linda y con vistas a la marina (recomiendo no ir día de feria ya que tapa la visual de la bahía). Los precios son muy buenos para estar en la bahía. Lo mejor de este resto, fue la atención del personal, excelente y muy personalizada. De seguro, volveré a ir.

Heel lekker gegeten, we kozen de menu van 21 euro en dan krijg je verschillende gerechtjes en allemaal even lekker en meer dan genoeg. De eigenaar kwam een praatje maken, hij spreekt nederlands. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk. Een aanrader!

We like Thapa Thai a lot. Its a great place to have a quick bite in Estepona port. They do have lunch and dinner menus. They serve fish, pork, beef, lamb and chicken dishes. There are also several vegetarian options, as well as rice and noodles. The service is polite and quite friendly.

Reasonably priced Thai food at the marina. Cant go wrong with a Pad Thai, wine not to my taste though, but overall worth a visit.

Gutes Essen mit Vielfalt. Schneller Service und ein Drink am Ende des Essens auf Kosten des Hauses. Möchte man unbedingt draußen sitzen, weil es drinnen schon recht laut ist, sollte man besser reservieren.

Super lekker gegeten! Wij namen de pad Thai met kip en de massaman. De porties zijn wat aan de kleine kant zelfs met onze starter erbij. Als je een goeie eter bent neem je best nog een voorgerechtje. We werden super vriendelijk verwelkomd en bediend! Dankjewel! Bij de rekening kregen we een limoncello van het huis aangeboden. Een aangename verrassing! We gaan zeker nog terug!

Heerlijk gegeten! Daging rendang wat een Indisch gerecht is. Aanrader. Jammer dat ze geen pak choi in huis hadden, maar is inderdaad niet altijd verkrijgbaar. Mijn partner was helemaal in zijn nopjes met de voorverwarmde borden. We komen zeker terug!

Stand Januar 2024 Lage ("Hafenkino-tauglich"), Ausstattung und Service (freundlich, kompetent, Hunde bekommen Wasser, doggy-bag wird angeboten) ist sehr gut. Die Qualität der Speisen hat mich nicht überzeugt - da ist Spielraum nach oben. Die angebotene Peking-Ente entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, da die mit "Peking" nichts zu tun hatte, sie war aber kroß und gut eßbar. Dito andere Gerichte, insgesamt wohlwollende 4 Punkte. Das Chinesische Restaurant am Anfang der Restaurantzeile bietet eine deutlich höhere Essensqualität, gerade in bezug auf die Entengerichte.

SUPER COMO SIEMPRE...

Es war okay, nicht hervorragend, aber okay. Ich hatte Ente, die war knusprig und gut, aber dazu Pfannkuchen? Okay, stand so in der Karte, aber ich wusste nicht, dass das wirklich welche sein würden. Der Chef war sehr nett, das Personal eher genervt oder lustlos. Wir sind nur dort hin, weil wir von der Anreise aus Deutschland kamen und die anderen Lokale drum herum alle belegt waren. Sonst würde man in Spanien eher nicht zum Thailänder gehen. Ich will es nicht madig machen, wer in Spanien gerne etwas anderes als spanische Küche essen möchte, kann gut dort hin gehen. Das Curry soll sehr gut gewesen sein.

Laab kai -salaatti ei ollut sellainen kun sen kuuluu olla. Salaatti oli vain pari lusikallista kanan jauhelihaa salaatinlehden sisällä ja osa oikeista mausteista puuttui. Red curry -annos oli hyvää ja sitä oli kahdelle riittävästi. Tom yam keittoa pyysimme kanalla ja extra tulisena mutta keitto oli pettymys, koska oikeat keiton maut puuttui, kanaa oli vain pari pientä palasta ja tulisuutta oli lisätty vain lisäämällä pelkästään chiliä eikä oikeita Tom yam mausteita ollenkaan.

Jedzenie tylko z nazwy reprezentuje kuchnie tajską, jest oczywiście zjadliwe i nic po za tym... Zupa i Pad thai poniżej jakichkolwiek oczekiwań. Mały plus za poprawnie grilowanego kurczaka, ale grillowany kurczak to nie jest kwintesencja kuchni tajskiej. Zjedliśmy, bo byliśmy głodni i zmęczeni podróżą, lecz kulinarnej poprawności w tym jedzeniu nie było, nie wspominając o jakiś fajerwerkach.

Very poor reproduction of Thai cuisine. Nothing looked, smelt or tasted as Thai food should. More like 1970’s Chinese in a bad cafe. Very lovely staff of no particular nationality. Thai cooking lessons required!

Nos pareció decepcionante, como cualquier restaurante chino de España, ningún sabor que te trasladara a Tailandia. Por lo demás el local tampoco tiene nada especialmente atractivo, eso sí, el personal muy agradable, pero tampoco esperaba menos.

So schlecht habe ich noch nie Thailändisch gegessen... Es hat lang gedauert bis mal eine Bedingung kam. Wir sassen draussen. Zum Ambiente kann ich daher nicht viel sagen. Die Lokale sind alle aneinander gereiht und wirken sehr ähnlich. Die Hauptgerichte wurden auf einer Eisenplatte serviert. Diese sollte eigentlich heiss oder zumindest warm sein. Sie war kalt. Es wurden vier Kerzen angezündet, die natürlich nicht die Platte erwärmen konnten. Zumindest nicht so lange sie bei uns auf dem Tisch war. Das Massaman Curry war mit frittierten Kartoffel Schnipsel. Sowas hab ich noch nie gesehen. Geschmacklich war es auch nicht gut. Selten dass ich auch mit Hunger nicht esse. Die Bedingung hat auch nicht gefragt ob es uns geschmeckt hat obwohl wir es zum größtenteils stehen gelassen haben. Es hat auch wieder sehr lange gedauert bis wir zahlen konnten. Das Essen war sehr enttäuschend, auch das Personal und ich würde nicht mehr dieses Lokal besuchen.

The food is awful and nothing like Thai very disappointed, if you have ever had a real Thai meal then you definitely won’t like this we won’t be back, when I questioned the waiter about the food not being Thai they try to explain that it was a Chinese Thai mix and they don’t use fresh vegetables in the soup like the Thais do, I would argue then it’s not Thai. the servers are great and helpful it’s the food that lets them down.

Llegamos a las 15:40 y no nos dejaron sentarnos porque decían estar ya cerrados.
