First time here as this place is closer to SF than Boiling Crab in San Jose. Different flavor but right seasoning with right amount of spicy for the kick. Ordered 1 lb crawfish & 1 lb shrimp for market price $16.99 each per lb. Very juicy & flavorful. Another favorite is waffle cut cajun fries. Omg, love love this one. The potato fries weren't crunchy but they were thick enough to have this chewy texture with bit crispy from outer layer. So in love with this potato fries. If you are big fan of fries, order this one. You won't regret it. Will definitely come back when I crave for crawfishes again. Decent price with fast service. Private parking lot.

I've been to this place over a dozen times but this was the first time I had ordered the garlic noodles. I regret not ordering them before!!! The garlic noodles are AMAZING!! I usually order the shrimp (heads off) and add corn. It can be quite spicy so for seasoning we usually get the rockin combo medium with a side of garlic butter. The line can be a little long (I've waited up to 45 mins) but if you come at random times there's rarely a line. Even if there is a line just give them your number and you can check on how long it'll take with your phone. We usually go take a walk at lake merit Highly recommend!! Especially when you're craving seafood

I've been here several times for the seafood boil and it's always good. staff is friendly and price is reasonable. atmosphere is very chill. definitely get the garlic noodles as a side! only reason I deducted a star is because I picked up 2 orders of garlic noodles with shrimp (+4.50) and there were only 3 shrimps!!! come on. if I'd known, I would've just gotten 1 order of garlic noodles and a 1/2 pound of shrimp to split between the 2 of us.

Look, I know it's called the Rockin Crawfish, but you don't have to get the crawfish. Their shrimp and crab were better. Crawfish felt like it was just difficult and for not much meat. Rest of the food and place were great though.

You know it's real when they give you a bib. The calimari was fresh and fried perfectly. I got a half pound of garlic butter shrimp and I wanted to drink the seasoning from the bag it was so tasty. To top it off the fried oreos were a nice touch to end the meal on a sweet sugary note. Definitely recommend.

Great food and great service great deal. Grear reasonable prices. Good vibe and love the walls. There are friendly and younger staffs who know their stuffs and all. Highly recommended. Come by this popular spot in "the Town" and have a blast crawfish experience here. 🍻🦞💯🔥💥♥️

Haven't been to this location since I moved out of Oakland back in 2019. The shrimp boil was just as good as I remember, very flavorful. But the gumbo has definitely gone down hill. It literally was the only restaurant gumbo I ever found enjoyable. But what I got tonight was trash. I swear they used to put chicken in it. This was literally 2 shrimp and about half of a sausage diced up with some celery and broth for $17. I was so disappointed since that's what I really wanted and ended up throwing it away after I ate the 2 shrimp and a few pieces of the sausage lol I won't be back.

We ordered takeout. The portion was good but food quality was average. We got 1 lb of shrimps and some crabs. More than half of the shrimps had mushy textures. Both of us had a bit stomachache after the meal.

They used to be the spot with consistent flavorful sauces and quality of seafood. The last couple years they've become pretty inconsistent of being good to super watered down. The last visit seems or tasted like they changed their recipe. The crawdads we got this order were perfect though, large good head butter and some have hella eggs. The shrimp is shrimp, they always tell us they don't have head on shrimp or they do (some waiters sometimes tell us they never serve headed shrimp). The clams we got this time tasted like the frozen ones. Def get a side of rice and scoop some of the sauce with a spoon full of rice to absorb all that flavor.

Initially the venue seemed to be quite busy, for what I don't know. The server never even itroduced herself and asked what was our order. In addition, she didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu options. The appetizer were hot and fresh ..... the meal went downward from there. The corn and sausages were overcooked, the mussels didn't taste fresh ,and the shrimp wasn't deveined.
