There is a unique restaurant resident here, a parrot who is barely noticed. The interior has a special focus on all sorts of cat ornaments. Seating priority is for reservations and even the hotel guests must stand in line for a table. The locals make it a special experience and the maitre du jour makes a special effort to visit each table between whipping up house sauces, dressings and ensuring that their parrot is happily perched outside his royal cage. Worth visiting many times!

Excellent food, very good value for money. Excellent house wine. Reliable and efficient staff. Our experience was extraordinary, I really cannot say that there was anything I could complain about. I suggest letting go and trying everything in this place, you will not get a fright when you see the bill and all the food is so good.

All the times I passed this probably sharpest turn in Europe, I recognized this Pizzeria and thought: We definitely need to go there once. After we went there for the first time for dinner, we were so happy with the quality and service that we will stop by everytime we go from Germany to Italy, or back. Coming from San Bernardo, this is the first serious Pizzeria on Italian ground and being so far up north, definitely among the very good ones.

In un ambiente tipicamente montano, pizze e piatti tipici locali della tradizione. Tagliere misto super! Prezzi nella media. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Ci sono stato ieri a pranzo per la prima volta e, dopo vaver mangiato in parecchi ristoranti della zona posso dire che questo posto merita veramente una sosta. Ambiente e cibo da 5 stelle ,cosa non tanto mi è piaciuto è stato il servizio che è da migliorare e pure tanto, la pizza non era delle migliori e non corrisponde alle pizze viste in foto nelle altre recensioni, ma i piatti locali sono da mozzafiato, un tagliere costa solo 20 euro ma ci si mangia comodamente in 3, Ottima la carne di manzo e meglio ancora gli gnocchi.... Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci. Lo consiglio.

Mi son recato iersera in questo ristorante pizzeria , locale apprezzabile con ambientamento baita alpina , cibo ,per quello mangiato ,buono sia pizze che il resto, unica pecca nei dolci, esempio tiramisù con savoiardi poco imbevuti di caffè che risultavano secchi. Il ragazzo che ci ha servito al tavolo gentile e disponibile a nostra richieste d'aggiunte al cibo. Quello che non ha fatto sì che vi fosse la 5 stella per l'ambiente è la lotta che abbiamo dovuto intraprendere durante la cena con mosche e moscerini che finivano nei piatti e nelle bevande causa la porta d'ingresso spalancata , fatto presente a chi era alla cassa ciò solo allora si accingeva a chiuderla. Si consiglierebbe ,se si vuole tenere porta aperta di predisporre opportuni dispositivi cattura mosche.

Nella valle del gran san Bernardo senza dubbio la migliore pizzeria. Da pochi anni si sono trasferiti dal centro del borgo a questo locale molto ampio e luminoso, cosa difficile da trovare. Hanno un occhio particolare per i bambini con un simpatico e intelligente spazio bimbi. Pizza buona, la cucina non l'ho provata. Consiglio come antipasto le zuzzole o nome simile, che sarebbero straccetti di pizza fritta serviti con pomodorini e rucola, salumi o fonduta. I dolci fatti in casa, tiramisù molto buono. Insomma da provare specialmente se avete bambini

Preso calzone fantasia del pizzaiolo e un bicchiere di vino rosso.... Una bomba.. Buonissimo e super farcito.. Complimenti al recente pizzaiolo.. Forse 27 euro sono troppi la pizza è veramente ottima.

Il cibo ottimo. Porzioni abbondanti. Il servizio disponibile. L'ambiente sereno. Mi sono trovata molto bene e accolta a mangiare cena qui. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che amano mangiare in serenità.

Locale ampio ed accogliente. Pizza troppo sottile x i miei gusti, e poco saporita. Distrazione nel servizio, ordinazione richiesta varie volte... Ma la cosa peggiore è stato il conto finale, avendo già registrato lo scontrino per intero senza preavviso,(eravamo in 20) stornando le voci, alla fine sono stati pagati dei piatti più volte. Bagno delle donne trascurato con il copri water letteralmente danneggiato con il rischio di farsi male. Esperienza negativa. Peccato.

This place was a good stop off to grab some food. It wasn't the beat pizza we had as a bit too much cheese for my liking, and the base wasn't great. But the staff were all nice, the location is nice in the Alps and the general log cabin vibe works!

Forgot our meal, took 60 minutes for parpadelle, manager said he would give one free, but did not. Parpadelle con cervo was very good. 18 Euro salad was basic, not worth price.

Poor service. We arrived well before closing hour, but they could not accomodate us despite the available tables. We had take away pizza's that we had to eat in the nerby park.

There are two Etroubles'. The one where you rent a room in the centre and reserve a table at the leprechaun restaurant next door. And then there's the version I did this year, get an overpriced room on the other side of the gsb road and eat a pizza at le vieux bourg. The first experience is 5 stars. The second gets a 2 star because it's the wonderful Etroubles. I had a craving for a good pizza on my last night in Italy. The pizza was mediocre to bad, but for the place itself I can't figure out why I stayed there waiting for a table (they we're all reserved and empty, a typical Italian flaw). The lightning is some 9000k led with horrible tile flooring and there's just a few seasoned staff surrounded by inexperienced people.

Great tasty pizza worth of stopping if you’re hungry. But the service is terrible. It feels as if they do not care. Waiting time in a completely empty restaurant to get pizza is 50min. 2 stars only because of staff being ignorant.

Partiamo dell'unica nota positiva: locale bello. Peccato per il personale scortese e la pizza biscottata e bruciata, appena accettabile... non l'abbiamo rimandata indietro perché ci dispiaceva che il cibo venisse sprecato. La vera fortuna di questa pizzeria, come ci è stato riferito da locali, è che sia l'unica...

Worst pizza in Val d'Aosta. If you go picking a frozen pizza at the supermarket, you'll likely find better standards than in here. Service guys ask for money without giving receipts and everything is managed by anarchy. We have never seen a more dirty place than that and the moment you step in you know this is not their job, neither they never worked a single day in their life in contact with customers. Completely improvised and unprofessional. Wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy. Good luck to to those who read this review only after being in here.

My first pizza of my Italian holiday. This is one of the worst Pizza's ever, minimal topping (cheese and tuna) and the dough was really strange. I have had much better frozen pizza's from the supermarket.

On Google maps it’s advertised as a Pizza place with an opening time of 12:00. Arrived there at 18:00 and they were not serving Pizza yet. This might be a local custom but opening hours should reflect the correct food serving hours.

Friendly staff, fairly good salads, but the pizza's are bad. No real cheese on the pizza but "plastic" tasteless fake cheese with rubber mouth feeling, cheapest supermarket quality ham and mushrooms from a jar. Further a lot of flies in the restaurant including a lot of fruit flies which undeniably indicate poor hygiene. Italian food inspection service should do a thorough check on this pizza farmer
