Wow, what a fun surprise! We were all tired after traveling to Eureka, and we weren’t very hungry and decided to just go to the local diner near the hotel. We really didn’t have high expectations. First we were greeted by a very friendly, cheerful server with a fun, bubbly, positive attitude. She took very good care of us. When our food came we were all pleasantly surprised. The food was large portions and fresh fruit! One highlight was the healthy dish with cottage cheese, and chicken and fruit. The chicken was delightful! Everyone was very happy with the meals. The only exception was the crab in the crab salad was not fresh. We did not mention this to server as everything else was good and we had extra food to share. We still recommend this restaurant as everything else was very good and service was excellent! The price is good too!

My Trucker Friend

While passing through Eureka, CA enroute to Crescent City, CA we begrudgingly stopped at a "sit down" restaurant. In an attempt to avoid a chain establishment, we picked what looked like a mid grade, average Joe kind of Cafe. The service was boutique restaurant quality. The atmosphere was unassuming and welcoming to all who wish to dine... The food... NEXT LEVEL wonderful. The steak was tender, perfectly cooked, juicy, and charred to perfection. The Scampi was prepared flawlessly and even the chicken gumbo was a pleasant surprise. The chicken Alfredo is now my wife's favorite dish... This place is an absolute gold mine! Please don't waste your time on the Applebee's or Denny's a few blocks away. This place deserves all the love!

The food is great! My first time having Italian Wedding Soup and it was very tasty! The veggies were sooo delicious I could have eaten them all day! The paintings on the walls are amazing and really give you a glimpse of the beauty that is all around in this area! Service is good here! Victoria and Paige were very sweet and attentive! I will come back every time I visit!!

Ate here with the family when passing through town last summer and still think about it. One star off because the decor desperately needs updating (cracked seats, etc) but the food gets 5 stars, the service also 5 stars. It was soooo good and our waitress was the sweetest girl! It's not overly pretentious food, just a wide variety of options and everything we ordered was done really well!

Didn't order off the menu, asked for steak, medium, eggs over easy, avocado and blueberries. And they delivered. Just disappointed that they didn't have choluna hot sauce. And the parking lot is very small and when extended trucks park there, very difficult to get out of the parking lot. Decided for yourself about the price.

We stopped for dinner while in Eureka overnight. The reviews sounded positive and we were hungry! I ordered the Fiesta salad, think Taco Salad. I had grilled chicken on mine, I could have had ground beef. My husband ordered a meat lovers omelet. The wait was a little long, but they were really busy with take out and eat in customers. When our meal arrived I was so pleased with the appearance of my Fiesta salad. But... tonight looks were a bit deceiving. The basis of the salad was very plentiful, but the lettuce was sopping wet and left a weird taste to the entire salad. Like the wash from the lettuce was the flavor. There was no dressing involved, I mixed the toppings to make the taste more enjoyable, but it wasn't much help. The chicken was a mix of slices and cubes of breast, it was a little light, but very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his omelet greatly, but found a weird hard thing in the eggs. I hate to put a good place down, so constructive criticism. The place is good, just needs a little tightening. I want to add an edit here. The owner or someone acting on their behalf offered to comp us a meal of we were still in town, and told me to PM them. I did hoping to catch a quick breakfast on our way out of town. No one answered my pm back and so the chance to fix this was missed.

The food is great. I wish local places like this would pay more attention to keeping their establishment looking nice. The bathroom sinks were gross, old, and collecting nasty scum around the edges. Take some pride in your restaurant. Repaint the gross looking doors. Refinish the wood stripping around the edges of the counter. It's the little things that add up to a clean looking place. Came here to get the prime rib dinner on Xmas.. so disappointed.. probably the driest prime rib I ever had.. got my money back (37.00) and then went to another restaurant because I wanted prime rib. Just so happen the owner of both restaurants were over at Adele’s.. I explained what happened and he said come in (Kristina’s) anytime and try our prime rib dinner on me.. So (today) I call the mgr at Kristina’s to get the dinner on him.. and she said NO.. and then they charge me me 27.00 extra dollars for something, and the prime rib at Adele’s wasn’t any better.. So needless to say I’ll NEVER go back.. sad I spent so much money on a meal I threw away.. All I wanted was a nice Xmas meal.
