The burger is thin and basic, but flavorful and grilled well with the right caramelization; lettuce, tomato, onion are always fresh and crisp! The pickles and pepper rings add just the right amount of tangy spice. The bun is buttered and toasted TO PERFECTION. This is the best local place to get a classic cheeseburger and seasoned fries. (Kind of remind me of Rally’s/Checkers fries) That Hoosier sauce, tho! Sooooo good. I’m also obsessed with their fountain Diet Coke. Idk what it is about the mix, but it always hits the spot. I do miss combo meals, they used to have ‘em for a decent deal but now they don’t. My kiddos love the chicken nuggets and hot dogs, also the lemon and strawberry shake ups, but I seriously cannot stop getting the classic Hoosier cheeseburger-fully dressed. Yum!

I couldn’t find this place because there wasn’t a sign out last week even though I used GPS the first time. After you replied, I tried to find it again and there was a sign out front this time. They share the location with Catfish Willy’s which I wasn’t expecting. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and crinkle fries and they both had good flavor, however in my opinion the price is a little high for amount of food. The think the portions were good for me though.

Visited Hoosier Burger Company for the first time. Paid a little over $10.00. Ordered the #1 which is Cheese Double Cheese burger combo. I upgraded to a large drink and Hoosier Fries. Easy to order the staff was very nice when ordering. The burger was cooked well just a tad messy but that was because of the sauce on it. So keep it wrapped ! Makes it easier. The Hooiser fries were good I love fried onions which is one of the toppings on the fries. And they have the Hooiser sauce on them as well. The sauce kind reminds me of thousand island dressing but better. Wait time wasnt bad it was long enough that it was cooked to order it seemed like. The tomato and lettuce that was on the burger was fresh and cleaned and appropriately sized for the burger. Before you leave the window make sure you check your bag that your order is right they don't do refunds or exchanges if you go away from the window there is a sign posted as well to remind people. Downside of the drive thru is once you're in you're in. There isn't a way to get out when you get further up in the line. Will be back especially for the Hooiser fries.

This was probably my last time ordering here. My to-go food was thrown together with no care, and when the lady handed me my bag, she was literally slinging it around like it didn’t matter what was inside. Everything was a mess when I opened it. I used to enjoy this place, but if that’s how customers are treated now, I won’t waste my money here again. I had to literally ask for. New box n my food was just a mess still like it just was a overall bad experience.

I've been telling people how great the cheesesticks were. Went today, got one good one. The rest not so much, smaller and tasted burnt. So sad that they changed. Need to pass word along so friends will not be as disappointed as I am.

My first time at Hoosier burger place in Evansville, Indiana. Atmosphere, greeting, and the environment was good. I ordered bacon cheeseburger but The bacon was missing. Later,They added the bacon again. I wonder the bacon should be crispy. My first time paying extra for fries, Which was new. Ha! Total amount $12.21 Plus tips. Question is, would you pay $12.21 for the food shown in the picture?

The food was perfectly fine. It wasn't great and wasn't awful, however the two younger people working lacked basic interpersonal skills. Neither person showed basic communication norms when having a conversation, regardless of whether it was for taking an order or casual small talk, it was actually quite bizarre. Awkwardness aside, both people acted as if we were an inconvenience to them when we requested napkins, ketchup, and a fork. The person that took our order was literally closing the door as they were speaking to us, not even allowing us to respond or request additional items. For what it is worth, we were the only customers eating at the tables, there were a few cars that ordered driver through, so being busy was not an excuse for the strange exchange. Consider this an opportunity for the owner to provide some people coaching. Ultimately, I doubt my family and I will return for a second visit.

Outrageously priced. $5 for two spoonfuls of mac n' cheese (literally served in a saucer used for dipping sauce). $7+ for a burger that is skimpy, similar to the size of McDonald's single patty hamburger, no sides included. Our waitress disappeared after we put in our order and didn't return until after we requested refills from another server. We ordered loaded fries as an appetizer, but I can't say whether they were good or not because they never arrived. We paid $35 for two skimpy hamburgers, 2 drinks and the smallest serving of mac n' cheese I've ever seen. Don't waste your time or money.

We just went to hooiser burger and got two double cheeseburgers, two orders of onions rings and hot dog and fries and it cost $32. I understand the pandemic has made prices rise but if you are going to charge those prices at least give us something for the price. we opened the onion ring bag and it hardly had any in there. Not sure the price we were charged for them because the receipt didn't have any pricing on it. Also the hot dog came out grey looking never seen one look like that before. I

They really need a new way of ordering food from window walk up.My experience this day was not what want to talk about I don't have anything nice to say like my food was not nice to eat either the wait time was awful there was nobody there at the window even before we got there there was one car in line that was there longer than we were there was workers outside maybe a lunch break maybe smoke break for one the other supposed to be sweeping outside but don't know how to sweep not telling someone how to do their job but the best experience that day was the pigeon that was greeting us better than the staff us being a customers you should leave the pigeon it gets better attention than your staff not to be rude but they were managed these days and respect come a long way there was just nothing that day I'm not posting my food cuz I don't want you to see how bad it was but if you need to I do have pictures but I will take the positive thing that was there
