Kirkman's VIP Pizza

Staff was helpful as this was our first time there. Pizza was very good. Just the right amount of sauce. As I don't do well with a lot of sauce or spicey. They were busy but the wait wasn't long.

Amazing pizza stop in Exeter! We have been getting pizza here for years and it is by far our favorite local stop for pizza. Highly recommend giving it a shot!

We stopped in one night about 30 minutes before closing and ordered to go. Friendly service. Our pizzas were ready quickly and we’re delicious. Good atmosphere too…seemed like it would be a fun place to hang out.

Really nice people working there. It was our first time, but they made us feel like regulars. Pizza was amazing. We got the combo. My wife got a salad too, which she said was great. They were nice enough to find the Dodger/Giant game on the TVs. It is obviously a sports-friendly place. Can’t wait to go back.

KIRKMANS VIP PIZZA is just one of the Diamonds that make up the jewel that is EXETER Ca. The pizza is fantastically cooked in a real Pizza oven not the Tractor fed type used at chain pizza places. May I suggest the Pepperoni and Sausage on Thick crust "Well Done". It was suggested to me by the folks at Monarch Ford that VIP made a great Pastrami sandwich. Well To my surprise it was probably the best Pastrami Sandwich I have ever had, and that's coming from a guy from CHICAGO "we know our Pastrami sandwiches." Great beers on tap "My go to is the Firestone Walker Union Jack" Your surrounded by Sports on Five Big TV's. Great Food, Great People, Sports, and Ice Cold BEER how could it get any better? Oh I know put it smack dab in the middle of EXETER CA. Bravo KIRKMANS VIP You've hit a home run with me every time you've been up to bat👍

OK, I have been to alot of pizza places from bay area to east coast and even Argentina. I will say some of the best pizza I have wver had. We ordered the Dakota favorite and when I had it there was no question that this was the best.

I am obsessed with the quality of the ingredients used to prepare the pizzas. I have other favorites, but Gordon's Spicy Chicken Pesto is by far the best. Gordon’s pizza also comes with artichokes, jalapenos, and sundried tomatoes.

First time being here. Nice little spot for a pizza place. Pizza was very good. Price is fair compared to other pizza places. Good selection of beer. The game was on when we go there. So that was a plus. Lots of sports apparel on the walls, both local and professional. Not a lot of people inside when we were there. Will different come again when I'm in town.

Love their pizza! The sauce is milder than most places but flavorful. It doesn't give me heartburn afterwards which happens more often as I get older. They give an abundance of cheese and toppings that puts the flavor over the top. Pricewise, make sure to take advantage of the Monday and Wednesday 1&2 topping special for eat in and pickup (special pricing not available for delivery). It just makes it even better.

Pizza was good slightly doughy in the middle but would order it again. Also had wings and mozerella sticks. Both were good got franks on the wings and they were meaty not just flavored bones. Pleasent atmosphere was a little busy but All on all would eat there again

They use a real pizza oven and it makes all the difference! Better than Round Table Better than Strawhat Better than Me n Ed's Better than any of the franchise's that use the automatic oven! And the sports related atmosphere is cool.

I have always liked VIP pizza. However my recent trip was definitely not what we are use to. One pizza's crust was so hard it was barely edible. 😪

New ownership or new staff has lessened the quality and atmosphere of what was once a quaint pizza parlor. Feels more like a smokey sports bar with new clients and alcohol selection. Prices went up without justified service or quality of food. Sadly only 1 of 2 pizza options nearby

Well, I have found it, the worst pizza I have ever tried to eat. And I have eaten MANY. It was so bad, that I have to believe that it was a fluke, or they would not even be still in business, or have any positive reviews. Soon as it was placed on the table, me and my son knew it was not going to be good, cheese was barely melted, and the pepperoni was not cooked at all. Not even enough to get greasy pools , just limp on top of the pizza. SERIOUSLY undercooked. Making me ill writing this. How could they even serve half cooked pizza? I should have taken a picture, but in any case, it scared me off , doubt I will return. OH, and the " best " part? 1 topping pizza , 2 drinks ( that were not refilled)......damn near THIRTY DOLLARS. I could have had a steak dinner. Or 6 decent frozen pizzas.......or.....just absolutely stuns me that they would serve what we got and not bat an eyelash......its not as if they were busy.....guess they just dont care. Gonna be mad about this for awhile...

They're drunk on the job boss. Got my order wrong. Proceeded to fight with me over the phone. About If I said boneless or nonboneless wings. They were $50. He was super unprofessional. You're business really must be failing. If you have to fight your customers. Over $50 wings. This is the kind of service you get around the holidays from Vip pizza.

I've ordered from VIP for the last year and for the LAST TIME!! I ordered 2 gluten-free pizzas, (Which are the size of a "medium" pizzas), with pepperoni, mushrooms and olives with extra sauce, for delivery. While ordering, I brought up two issues: Last time when I ordered, I was paying cash and I was told what the amount would be... It was MORE than it usually was, ( PLUS, A TIP WAS ADDED -WITHOUT ASKING! I TOLD THEM I ALWAYS PAY THE TIP IN CASH, TO THE DELIVERY PERSON, "IF" IT GETS HERE HOT AND I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED A TIP TWICE WITHOUT BEING TOLD IT WAS BEING ADDED TO MY BILL!) When the delivery person arrived , I was told it was $7.00 MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT I HAD BEEN TOLD IT WOULD BE ON THE PHONE! (Plus, I tipped the delivery person). And that I didn't appreciate "over charges" but I had paid it. Then, I ordered the same thing I order every time, (Two gluten-free pizzas with pepperoni, mushrooms and olives with extra sauce, for delivery). When I was told the amount for the delivery order I had just placed, I knew it was the WRONG AMOUNT. I am a very honest person and I told him it was TOO LITTLE. He thanked me for pointing that out and gave me the correct amount for a cash payment of $33.52. (For some reason the same order is a different price every time). I also asked him to PLEASE watch and don't BURN the crust, because I don't like burnt pizzas. When the delivery person arrived, I WAS AGAIN TOLD - IT WAS $9.00 MORE THAN I HAD BEEN TOLD WHEN I ORDERED! (IT WASN'T A TIP!) I explained it all to the delivery person. That I had just told the person who took my order about the different amounts. I asked him to please call and if I was expected to pay $9.00 MORE THAN THE $33.52 I HAD BEEN TOLD ON THE PHONE - I WOULD SEND THE ORDER BACK!! I WAS THEN pTOLD I ONLY HAD PAY THE $33.52 I HAD BEEN TOLD. I should have LOOKED at the CRUST... I would have SENT it BACK, it was ALL BLACK - AGAIN! I don't like this kind of dishonest, underhanded way - about how much I'm supposed to pay, then JACK THE PRICE UP! (I think the amount I was charged on a debit card was changed the same way, without asking). NO MORE CHANCES FOR THIS BUSINESS! I could eat at a VERY nice restaurant for a lot less than I paid for BURNT PIZZAS at VIP! (Very Iffy Prices)

first time coming here to eat with my family and experience was horrible with 2 specific employees “Sarah” (cashier) And some other guy short white guy (busser) both disrespectful to my wife and I, THE PIZZA WAS EHHHH, very overcrowded!! The atmosphere was uncomfortable don’t recommend this place for a family setting!

For me a restaurant must have two out of the three: 1. Great food 2. Excellent customer service 3. Enjoyable atmosphere Unfortunately this place only has one of the three and for me it’s the atmosphere. The food well....I’ve had better & customer service is nowhere near excellent (we’ve been here several times) I’m guessing great service must come on certain days because the times we’ve eaten here we have never had a smile from anyone working here. The guy with the muscles and the sour face gives us this annoyed look when we’ve eaten here. Nevertheless, there are other options here in Exeter that can provide all 3 of my request:)

Vip is a regular go to dinner my husband and I, we love the wings and never have had a problem with the food. But tonight was sadly a different story. We always order the wings and they are always the best but tonight they tasted very off something was werid about them this time. So we decided to call vip and all the young man had to say was "sorry about that, enjoy your self" then hung up. My husband and I have never had a problem with vip and have been very happy customers for years now. But it's was very up setting and worry some that something could be wrong with the food and all we got was a "enjoy yourself".
