Straw Hat Pizza

Yesterday was the first time eating at a Straw Hat. Was absolutely the best pizza I’ve had. The atmosphere was great and the lady that took my order was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone !loved it !

The salad bar was the best and pizza was excellent. Drink refills and good atmosphere! They serve you a bottle of ranch with your pizza too. Sports on TV and beer on tap, can or bottle. Always love Straw Hat pizza! 😋🍕

Staff were very friendly and accommodating! We were able to personalize our vegetarian pizza without cheese we added pesto, it was amazing. All the staff were very nice. Great customer service!! We definitely plan to come back again. Thanks Raj for telling us about all the upcoming events!!

The Garlicky Chicken pizza with white sauce was outstanding. Our first time with California-style pizza, and it was very good. Dining area was clean, family-friendly, and not overly crowded on a Monday evening.

Ordered a pizza with artichokes, shrooms, etc. It was delicious. I really enjoyed the crunchy yet chewy cruse, and all the ingredients taste like premium quality. I would have preferred just a but more sauce and the artichokes to have been spread out a bit instead of large chunks, but otherwise, perfection for a late night dinner. I do have an issue with their ordering though. It wouldn't allow me to order which soda I wanted, and since I've never had Straw Hat before, a description of each option would have been nice. I'm assuming the "Top Hat?" Is a calzone?? But I'm just not sure. Either way, if I ever come back this way I'd definitely order it again. It was seriously good, and the male who delivered it was fast and so friendly, not in a creepy way 😉😆

The woman who owns it is so sweet and kind. She is so eager to please. She calls everyone deary. The pizza is at a good price. The crust is just how I like it. The toppings are really good. They use the best pepperoni and they count extra cheese as a regular topping unlike some places charge more for extra cheese. Their sandwiches are very good as well. My family loves this pizza place more than pizzahut.

The pizza is always great. It is affordable compared to some other local pizza joints. And the quality is way better than their nearest competitor. Straw hat (in Exeter,) is the go to pizza place for my family and friends.

Good pizza at a decent price. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes and it was. Business was very busy but they were handling the amount of people pretty quickly.

Great pizza, friendly service. The salad bar closed an hour before closing so that's a bummer. I wish they'd have some real video games instead of those money wasting claw machines.

Hand made dough and fast friendly service. Straw Hat Pizza has been around for many years but the locations are few and far between. If you have never had Straw Hat then you dont know what your missing.

Good food, nice people. The house made ranch is on another level. Directly in the middle of the 3 places in town when it comes to price. Straw Hat is my go to pizza in Exeter when I can afford it.

Pretty good pizza. Very comfortable environment and a few games to keep people entertained. Staff was friendly and the beer was cold. Best part is the cold mugs so your beer doesn't get warm quickly.

Great location and ambience. Service is incredible. Pizza is pretty darn good. Their ranch is bomb! 😋

First, we wanted a medium sized Pizza... They were out of medium crusts. So I had to order a large. I called in the order, it was a half and half order. The got one half wrong and told me so, after t was in the oven and cooking. AFTER it came out, they offered to make me another one but not being sure they could manage to get a SECOND one right and being short on time, I said "Nah, I don't have time, screw it." My half was perfectly acceptable, but the roomie? She was PISSED!

Pizza was not very nice. A lot of toppings, but not hot enough. Reasonably priced but would not go back. Staff okay

The help was nice. Explained they were having some problems so wait would be 20 mins. Wait closer to 40 min. When got order it was wrong but we were too hungry to wait for correction. Will not be revisiting this establishment.

We went to straw hat in Exeter between 9:05pm and 9:10pm to grab dinner and their signs said they were open until 10pm. When my husband went inside to order pizza to go she was very rude and said I’m done for the night. If you’re closed you should lock the doors. And if you’re not going to close at 9 don’t say you’re open until 10. P.S. we also called before we went and they confirmed they were open until 10. Absolutely ridiculous

Can't seem to get my order right no matter how in depth I describe it. Apparently they have a very hard time with half & half pizza's. And the half they screw up on is just pepperoni with red sauce and cheese. It cant be that hard to make a pepperoni pizza. I have ordered Garlic cheese bread 3 times and keep getting different kinds, ask for a specific kind I had before and I get something unseasoned with cheese. Not to mention the rudeness coming from the girl on the phone while I'm trying to tell her what I wanted.

Customer services over all is unprofessional just FYI is you ever go to Exeter Ca Straw Hut Pizza. Your not allowed to share what you pay for. According to there policy if you buy Salad you cannot share. Food was cold and not well done 👎. NEVER will return

POORLY Managed AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE SHE WAS JUST TALKING WITH HER CO WORKER ABOUT GUYS BEING CUTE AND SOMEONE CHEATING ON SOMEONE ..COME ON WE DINT Wana HEAR THAT DO YOUR JOB...WHAT U SIGNED UP..CUSTOMERS ARE PAYING FOR THEIR FOOD . Pizza tasted horrible..... the crust tasted like frozen like you would get at the grocery store, girl at the counter was rushing me to pick my toppings, after i told her my pizza order and that i wanted a drink i continued to look at the menu to order more food but she told me my total, there were no customers behind me so i guess she just wanted to hurry back to her co worker so they can stand there and chat and play on there phones. Wont be returning ill just head to visalia next time for some good pizza and service elsewheee

Bad attitude they send wrong order yet they want to charge again to get the correct order. Shame on them. Bet I will not order from them anymore and normally I would order once or twice a week but after this incident they lost a customer.

No Pan Pizza???.....went for PAN Pizza with family & friends...told it takes too long to make & the fellow who makes them only does it occasionally?? Seems crazy....then, out of cheese bread? I can not believe my experience! They told me a hour and a half wait time for delivery I call them 2 hours later and they said my pizza was in route, I call back 45 mins later and they said they had a mix up?? I specifically gave them my name and address when I called the second time and they said my pizza was on the way! They had the audacity to say we can make your pizza now and you can pick it up?? They ruined a pizza movie night with our Kids and we waited out side for over a hour thinking they were coming. I don’t recommend delivery here!!🤮🤮

Customer service was bad, rude employee. When placing our order the girl was rude. My teenage daughters went to wash their hands and the same employee went in the bathroom and asked one of my daughters what they were doing well one was using the toilet and the other one was waiting for her sister to get out the employee asked if they were messing around, obviously they were not my daughters were upset. The pizza was ok not what I was expecting and cold. There was a cockroach trap in the restroom floor, disgusting. Just with my experience with such bad customer service I will not return or order from here. I don't reccomend this place.

The owner seems too worried about looking great while his team suffers behind him. I see how hard working all those kids are and they still have a smile on their faces. Lately my pizza deliveries have been cold and I can only imagine it’s because they have a ton of orders and I see the same driver every time ! Very unfortunate because I love straw hat but this is making me want to order else where!
