Antiche Terre Hotel & Relax

Piacevole scoperta rilassante. L’hotel è molto tranquillo, immerso nella vegetazione ligure lasciata naturale e selvaggia. La camera è semplice ma pulita e adeguata al contesto. Le cene sono state tutte buone. Menzione speciale alla cena di pesce a bordo piscina la sera di ferragosto: curata e ben riuscita. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Siamo stati 3 gg a inizio maggio io mia moglie e il ns cagnolone oscar...... tutto perfetto. Personale disponibile e molto gentile. Un ringraziamento a julio.... tutto molto bene.

Posto bellissimo.camere pulite e spaziose. Accogliente lo staff, dal direttore sempre pronto ad ogni esigenza, gentilissimo, ai camerieri simpatici è professionali. Molto competente e gentile anche la signora al bar addetta alle colazioni, accogliere centinaia di persone con uno splendido sorriso di primo mattino non è cosa da poco. Ci siamo beati del paesaggio, dei fiori, della quiete. Sembra di essere fuori dal mondo. Consigliato anche per un breve soggiorno come il nostro.

Do' 5 stelle non perché sia fantastico...ma nella nostra esperienza di una notte per una camera doppia colazione compresa a meno di 60 euro credo non si possa chiedere di più... Un po' difficile da raggiungere. Camere pulite. Personale gentilissimo. Colazione molto buona con buffet sia per il dolce che per il salato.

Hotel 3 stelle di qualità, chi pretende di più e si lamenta è ovvio che deve cercare altro. Detto questo, personale gentilissimo, camere pulite, ristorante buono con varie scelte di piatti a disposizione. Colazione a buffet altrettanto buona e varia tra dolce e salato. Camerieri gentilissimi. Ripeto: CHI È PRETENZIOSO, vada a cercare altro.

Soggiorno perfetto all’hotel Antiche Terre Cinque Terre! Il team è di una gentilezza rara, molto professionale e sempre pronto ad aiutare. Un grazie speciale alla ragazza della reception, adorabile e super efficiente: ci ha aiutato a modificare la prenotazione e a ricaricare la nostra auto elettrica, tutto con il sorriso! Un grande grazie anche al ragazzo presente la mattina, che ci ha gentilmente proposto una soluzione per conservare il nostro cibo al fresco. Anche il servizio al ristorante è stato impeccabile: veloce, attento e cordiale. Ci si sente davvero come a casa tra amici, con un servizio da struttura di alto livello. Grazie di cuore, torneremo volentieri!

Ottima soluzione per visitare le cinque terre e soggiornare fuori dal caos turistico. Camere grandi e accoglienti, personale disponibile e cordiale, una menzione speciale va alla coppia di ragazzi argentini che gestisce il ristorante, molto disponibili e simpatici, ci hanno saputo far sentire a casa, cibo buono e prezzo corretto. Beautiful views, a clean room, and a mountain side pool. Be sure to ask for air conditioning in the summer. Some ammenities in the photos were not there. We chose this hotel as a base to explore Cinque Terre, the site said a few miles away but it was a 35 minute drive each way. The restaurant offered good food and great service. Vanessa and Julio were amazing! Great service and always offered a warm greeting! Thank you for the amazing service!

Excellent location if you want to visit Cinque Terre. Just 30 minutes by car to reach Levanto. Loved the atmosphere, quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Highly recommended!

I have read alot of comments about the staff. My experience is that the staff was welcoming, polite and friendly. The food is classic Italian with a pasta and then meat. The food and wine was good. The room is on the older side but still good and yes there is no air conditioning. However there is a celling fan that helps. We didn't hear much to the neighbouring rooms or the rooster if that matters. The view is just great.

Nice place to stay if you want to visit Cinque Terre. Very friendly management with high service. Rooms are clean and all you need. Breakfast is good with very good coffee, cappuccino or what you want. We had our dog with us and also he was very welcome. Don’t hesitate to stay here! If you want to visit Cinque Terre you can drive to Monterosso and reserve a parking place at Monterosso parking via chat Google maps. From there you can walk to the city and via the blue trial to Vernazza or take the train. Contrary what is stated dogs don’t have to ware a muzzle on the train.

If you want to see Italy from the inside, be in a quiet place, breathe in the freshness of the mountains mixed with the scent of flowers, then you are here! Italian style rooms, very clean and comfortable. Be sure to eat at this hotel. The food is very fresh, tasty and prepared from the heart. Delicate rtzotto, raviole with gorgonza, fish was perfect. The staff is like family. stayed two nights wanted to extend, but there were no places.

The owner and staff went out of their ways to make our stay incredible and gave us excellent info on the cinque terre. The place is peacefull and the view spectacular. After a busy day in cinque terre it is nice to relax away from the crowd.

Situated on the hillside some distance from the freeway. Very quiet and relaxing with a wonderful view. The rooms are nice although you can hear the other guests at times. The restaurant is great and take advantage of the location - offering a great view of the valley. Good food (3 courses), good local wine and really good staff. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. This hotel is a gem that my traveling companion booked by chance, it's exactly what we were searching for on this trip - a quit place in the hills. It is my guess that a guest will find rest and recreation at the hotel and in the surrounding hills. I recommend this place.

Pare che in origine le strutture erano comuni edifici di un piccolo borgo da cui è stato ricavato l'attuale hotel in posizione decisamente tranquilla e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Le camere sono pulite, semplici e dotate di ciò che essenzialmente serve. All'esterno ci sono 2 terrazze relax, una piscina e il ristorante. La colazione è discreta se si considera che è inclusa ma il ristorante offre solo il menù del giorno a 28 euro e, purtroppo, anonimo e privo di piatti tipici liguri. Personale cordiale e disponibile.

Tutto abbastanza bene...la posizione purtroppo è scomoda,il problema più grande è la strada piena di buche distrutta,e la piscina non è curata.... cmq pulizia camera ok,staff simpatici e preparati, prezzo ottimo consiglio

Molto tranquillo e ottimo per riposare, con piscina sempre pulita, camera con balcone con arredi da rivedere. Manca un salone x intrattenimento, posti auto a volontà. Molto buono il ristorante e la colazione, Julio e Vanessa ti coccolano sempre. L'unica cosa negativa è la distanza dal mare.

Good hotel to stay for this low price. We even had breakfast included in the price. The room a bit small but very clean and had an amazing view of the mountains. Also they had a swimming pool wich is nice. They have fans but I would recommend to take a room with air conditioning if it's a hot period. We stayed here to be closer to cinque terre. This hotel was value priced and since we needed three rooms, we took the gamble. We were greeted by the owner, Inez, who is a lovely person that speaks perfect English. She gave us the details and lay of the land. Inez explained exactly how to access Cinque Terre the next day. We enjoyed the grounds of the hotel for the afternoon. We sipped drinks by the pool and took in the sweeping views of the mountains. Our rooms we clean and sparse and perfect for our stay. We had a suitable bathroom attached to our room. We ate dinner at the hotel that evening with mixed reviews. Service was excellent, however some diners in our group we merely satisfied with their dinners, while others found it perfectly suitable. It was slightly warm at night while sleeping but the ceiling fan helped to keep us cool. The next day we were greeted with a delicious breakfast buffet. Fruit, meat, yogurt, pastries and more. The coffee was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and we’re glad to have time to swim and relax during our busy vacation touring Italy. The family that runs this place is wonderful.

Hotel con piscina e parcheggio tra le colline tra La Spezia la Val di Vara, comodo come rompitratta tra nord e sud Italia e per visitare le cinque terre. La struttura è bella e ristrutturata ma è poco agevole, dal punto in cui abbiamo scaricato le valigie alla camera bisognava salire due piani senza ascensore e con gradini alti (non segnalato all'atto della prenotazione). All'interno dell'hotel c'è un ristorante dove si mangia molto bene e si spendono cifre contenute. Buona la colazione, gentilissimo il personale. Hotel consigliato per chi viaggia leggero, ci torneremo volentieri ma soltanto nella parte della struttura dotata di ascensore (è quella con entrata in comune con la reception).

Abbiamo soggiornato soltanto per una notte+colazione. A mio parere, il posto avrebbe grandi potenzialità, ma alcune cose andrebbero migliorate. In particolare: la qualità della colazione (c'erano unicamente prodotti confezionati) e lo stile delle camere (rimaste agli anni 90). Una nota positiva è stata il rapporto qualità-prezzo del pernottamento.

The hotel is really good, clean and efficient. But the restaurant is a disaster. One hour wait to have industrial over salty food and very expensive. 3.5€ for tap water that arrived after the end of the dinner because the waiter forgot 3 times to bring it....

Soggiorno di tre notti in camera superior. Vista molto bella sulle colline, molto verde e pittoresco il luogo. Struttura abbastanza bella. Camera pulita. Personale cordiale. in camera non c'è aria condizionata, in agosto fa un caldo infernale. Mi hanno detto che c'è solo nelle camere Deluxe. Manca il frigo in camera, durante l'estate non puoi tenere niente che debba essere refrigerato. Molto disagevole.Colazione a base di prodotti industriali, non ci sono uova, buono il caffè. Frutta solo sciroppata o poche mele. Consiglio di ampliare la scelta. Cena solo con menù fisso a tre portate senza poter scegliere se consumare solo primo o secondo. Paghi comunque il prezzo del menù. Hanno pasta per celiaci a richiesta. Piscina piccola e affollata in alta stagione, invasa di api, non tenuta abbastanza pulita. Sarebbe vietato tuffarsi, ma i bambini lo fanno lo stesso e non viene impedito. Poco rilassante. Il 13 agosto hanno chiamato i manutentori del verde che per tre ore hanno tagliato il prato e usato motori rumorosi e puzzolenti facendoci scappare dall'hotel. Consiglio di fare eseguire certi lavori quando si hanno meno clienti, non in luglio e agosto. La reception chiude alle nove di mattina e riapre poi nel pomeriggio.Strada difficoltosa ma percorribile senza particolari problemi. È piuttosto isolato per cui avere più comfort in hotel diventa particolarmente importante. Per noi non è stato un soggiorno né rilassante né troppo piacevole.

The location and the view are 5 stars, but everything else not so much. The staff needs to be educated in how to welcome guests properly, we are not asking for a red carpet, but the first contact is important. Welcomed by a gentleman at the reception who without eye contact puts the keys on the reception and just informs us : check out is 10:15 am. The pool and the sunbeds are dirty , they seem like a witness of some summers a long time ago, a shame because with a little care it could be really nice. The rooms are clean, but furniture not changed since the 1970’s, feels run over. Walls are paper thin, we had a feeling we were sleeping in a dormitory, especially having neighbors that had little care to keep quiet at 6am. The breakfast is very basic, feels like a summer camp, only the neccessary. However the welcoming attitude could be improved, the gentleman making coffees, without good morning or hello, instructs us to “sit there”, pointing his finger to the table…overall, feeling that we are bothering with our mere presence. Way too expensive for what they offer. 2 stars because of the nature and the view.

I did not enjoy my stay. WI-FI is there but almost never connects, when it does it is so slow it is practically unusable. Breakfast is ok, however on the 2nd day the Breakfast deteriorated (less choice, no eggs, plastic cups,...). In the room you need special adapters to charge your laptop for the wall sockets (there are 2 of them in the whole room) they have it at the reception tho...). Showers are a bit small.

Stayed 3 nights, not bad but very old… needs some renovation. BUT don’t eat in the restaurant: no quality at all, everything is from the freezer, the Boss neither nice nor friendly. Very expensive for the bad quality of food... I would recommend the trattoria in Pignone (10 min by car) where fresh pastas are served and the food is very good.

Stayed here for two nights, unfortunately over all a disappointment. Location: secluded on the hilltop, great scenic views of the beautiful national park, little winding roads, 30 min drive to Monterosso. Food: we arrived in the evening and the hotel restaurant was fully booked, next restaurant 10 min drive away. The breakfast is not really worth mentioning, next evenings dinner was okay but very basic, three varieties of pasta (without a menu). Rooms: clean, with balcony overlooking the scenery and basic amenities, no AC. Furniture rather old, only very bright neon light. You never feel alone because you can hear everything what’s going on in the rooms next to you or in the hallway. If you are lucky like us the people next to you also have a little dog with them that wont stop barking. If you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. Service: totally understaffed team, one person to take care of breakfast for a full hotel can definitely only lose. No time left for friendliness or a personal touch. Wifi didn’t work as well as the card reader we wanted to pay with in the end. Hygiene: COVID times make everything more complicated, staff made an effort but in the end one hand serving food and tidying up at the same time as well as taking the mask down to talk to you doesn’t make one feel particularly comfortable. Wineglass was unwashed and plates full of fingerprints. Had to disinfect table ourselves. Overall the place has great potential to be a real gem. Under different circumstances this could have been a great experience, the disappointment remains.

Hotel was clean and nice. Staff was very friendly and good service. Wine was good. We enjoyed our evenings at the pool. Overall i loved the place but if you want to sleep early and well, don't stay here and don't have breakfast here. Rooms were very noisy and I couldn't sleep at nights. We were staying in the main building. You can hear all the talking and kids screaming to the second floor. Also the breakfast was a joke. Don't believe other recommendations saying it was good. It costs 7e and there is only dry bread, and a few weird cakes from the market. And some of the cheapest cerials. (16.6.2019)

Dalle foto il posto si era presentato tutto in un altro modo. La piscina era molto sporca quindi la voglia di farsi il bagno è passata all’istante. Non ne parliamo della camera che ci è capitata! Appena l’abbiamo vista ci siamo messi a cercare un altro alloggio ma dato il periodo intorno non si trovava nulla di disponibile. La camera era minuscola con gli spazi per muoversi ristrettissimi e la cosa peggiore che non c’era l’aria condizionata!!! Potete immaginare una cosa del genere ad agosto con quasi 38 gradi fuori ?!? al suo posto c’era un ventilatore sul soffitto che una volta acceso faceva un rumore stridulo allucinante! Era impossibile riposare! abbiamo dormito malissimo sia per il caldo sia per il rumore del ventilatore. Ma non finisce qui avevamo prenotato la cena che ci era stata consigliata al telefono al momento della prenotazione dell’hotel e presentata nei migliori dei modi. La vista sulla terrazza non era male ma una volta seduti ci portano questo foglio di carta sgualcito col menu fisso a 28 euro che ok prezzo bassissimo ma non avevamo voglia di mangiare tutte e 3 portate + il dolce e non c’era possibilità di prendere una cosa sola ci è stato detto che avremmo pagato ugualmente 28 euro a testa. 🗿🗿🗿 il colmo è stato quando ci hanno postato “l’antipasto” 4 pezzettini di focaccia vecchia di 1 settimana forse. A quel punto ci siamo alzati e ce ne siamo andati a cena Portofino. Sconsiglio a chiunque di alloggiare lì questo posto deve andare su qualche trasmissione tipo Hotel da incubo.

The place is a little bit far to the 5 cinque terre near the montains. yes is near the Montain so quite and fresh but the road is not easy in particular during the night. No lights. Let about the service and food is terrible. Too basic, food not in linea with a three stars hotel. Not suggested

All the positive reviews of Antiche Terre Hotel & Relax is a mystery. We were misled, and stayed there for three nights during our three weeks summer holiday in July-August 2023, and this is by far our worst experience. The location is in the middle of nowhere, and the place is in a desperate need of renovation. Unfortunately, we arrived in time for dinner. The premises are more like a school dining hall than a restaurant. There is only one option for dinner; a full three-course menu with two choices for main course. We asked if we could share one three-course menu between two persons, but that is out of the question - you are stuck to the full three-course menu or nothing. The fish was completely dry and tasteless and the meat resembled rubber. We politely complained, but were not taken seriously. This “restaurant” is a true disgrace to the wonderful Italian kitchen. The staff in the “restaurant” used security guard radio earplugs inspired by nineties spy-movies, and it was difficult to understand if they were talking to you or to each other. The unfriendly, tattooed wannabe security guard managing the “restaurant” made the already uncomfortable atmosphere even worse. The rooms and bathrooms are very simple: Outdated interior, no air-condition and paper-thin walls. You can hear exactly what is going on in the other rooms, so you don’t need to bother using your own alarm in the morning as the alarms from the other rooms will wake you up. This is actually not a problem since the roosters outside probably are well underway in their impressively long lasting morning show anyway. If you against all odds should be able to sleep through this, be sure that the loud music from the reception effectively will do the job. We were sure the breakfast should be better than the dinner, but were unfortunately wrong. It’s very simple with the cheapest sort of toppings and bread, and overall very limited selection. If you want eggs you have to pay extra. To emphasize the quality level of this place, industrial juice is self-served in disposable plastic cups. At least we didn’t need to use dirty glasses like we had at the dinner. We did not feel welcome at Antiche Terre Hotel & Relax and wondered if the staff is working against their will and really don’t want guests. We had the impression that we bothered them with our presence. We strongly advise against spending time and money at this place. There are so many nicer hotels with polite staff in the market. One star is given for an unforgettable stay. We were actually amused by the unprofessionalism.

Far away Hiden in the mountains, badly isolated, we can hear everything, impossible to sleep without ear plugs. Restaurant fully booked, not possible to take away,no other restaurant available nearby, we need to drive down the mountain in the night to find something to eat. In general, not happy at all with this hotel. Only positive point is the view .

Beautiful setting but room incredibly noisy. No noise insulation between bedrooms or corridor at all. So very bad bad night sleep. We called reception in the night to ask if they had any quieter bedroom but nobody there. If you want to relax in a calm place definetly not the right hotel.
