Las Brisas Taqueria

We could eat here everyday. When I ask my kid what she wants for dinner, she says Las Brisas. The food is so scrumptious your plate will be empty every time. They have the best home made salsa. Not too mild or spicy, just the right amount of kick to compliment the chip. They are a family business and the sisters who work there are so sweet and friendly. We love our Las Brisas!

First of all, whatever is in that smoky salsa in their salsa bar should probably be in all food. Secondly, no one is annoyed when I ask if the rice and beans are vegetarian; they are really welcoming and accommodating and SO SO kind. I only had my AmEx (which they don't accept) so when I went out to my car to try to find my visa, they came out to say it was okay and they would just let me pay later when I had a different card. The atmosphere is charming and the food is delicious and prepared quickly. I love it!

The food is great. I've spent a lot of time at different restaurants that serve Mexican food, and this one is up at the top for sure! Good prices and good portions, what more could I ask for?

Simply the best! Please try the enchiladas with red sauce they are the best I have ever had, simply out of this world. They’re so good I have had dreams and cravings for them. The rice and beans are also on the same level of tastiness, please set aside some time to enjoy the quality in tastiness of their food with every bite to enjoy.

Only been for lunch a handful of times, but they fix some killer food. COVID has limited their seating to a few tables outside so like most it is order and go. Very friendly staff and great tasting food. I have only had lunch here and they offer a good menu to choose from at more than reasonable prices. Enjoy!

The best California burrito in town for sure.

This place is tough to beat if you like cheap Mexican food. The atmosphere is very fun if you like old taco joints. The carne asada burritos and tacos are very good and it’s a great place to drop in for a quick lunch if you are driving thru or vacationing in Fallbrook.

This places has the best menudo in town. Very authentic, and flavourful. It reminds me of home. It is like traveling in time and space. After spending over 15 dollars per person, Do not order additional chips because they will charge you $1 plus tax.

First time in Fallbrook for a baseball tournament. Decided to look for a nearby Mexican food spot and this place was the closest to the park. Decided to give it a try and we’re so glad we did! The place is small, not too many parking spots. The inside is very clean and fresh. Employees were friendly and welcoming. We got our food about 5 mins after ordering and everything was delicious and tasted super authentic. If we’re ever back in Fallbrook, we will definitely be stopping by again.

Food is good, maybe 9/10. The prices are okay however they advertise prices on the menu and charge you 1-2dollars more per item. About a year ago I asked staff why their prices were higher that advertised and they said menu hadn’t been updated. I’m in the store right now and just got charged 3$ over advertised. Either laziness or false advertisement

Been here numerous times, food is good and the service too. My only complaint is the prices, ordered 3 carne asada burritos and 3 tacos, a quasadilla and sprite in the can. Came to $80 dollars!!! Thats insane, they have got to lower their overhead because there's nothing special about the location or the Ambiance.

Just had nachos and they were very good. Family-run. Very friendly. Too bad it's switching ownership in Dec '19. Let's hope the same quality level of the food and service remains.

Las Brisas was hands down the #1 Mexican restaurant! Nothing else compared to them when Blanca & Alejandra owned/operated the restaurant. It was a sad day when we found out they were selling the restaurant.. new owners took over and it just isn't the same.. food is good but not like before. Just very plain Atmosphere.. they need to take some pointers from how the restaurant used to be.

The food and the staffs were excellent! This eatery reminded me of small town in Baja, California. We will definitely come back again.

It was good. Not outstanding, but solid and great service. They were almost out of horchata, so only one of our party of 3 was able to get it. They were out of the taco salad option too, so it kind of felt a little lacking, but I'd still consider going back. It just wouldn't be my first choice.

They would get 5 stars except for 2 things. It was very smoky inside and they charge $1 for soda fountain refills. We got the #20 Barbacoa. It was very good. They also charged extra for corn tortillas. I probably will not return.

The food was tasty, but the value per dollar compared to other local places left a bit to be desired. You can go to Rosa's less than a mile away and get more food for the same money with better taste (in my opinion). This place definitely is good but they're just shy of being great.

Pricey. Food was okay. Tight seating. Couldn't sit at the same table as my 4 girl friends I went with, had to sit with our teens plus had to seperate my younger kids throughout the restaurant.. great lunch spot for up to 4 people at one table. Their sopas was good.

Update: After my initial review under new ownership all looked well until I went a few more times and every time I went ended up disappointed. Others might have better luck than me but I don't know if it depends on time or day you go whether it'll be good or not. Good luck. I had previously rated this place two stars long ago with old owners. Las Brisas is currently under new ownership and the change is for the better. I have yet to try other dishes but the food we ordered was very good. I was disappointed the decor did not change as I would like to have seen some changes there. Overall much improvement in the food and I will be back to try other plates.

I saw on multiple occasions the cashier clear off dirty tables, handle money, and work the register and THEN grab tortilla chips with her bare hands and serve them. I am pregnant and when I saw that I was absolutely DISGUSTED. I don’t understand how even after the world went through a pandemic, basic restaurant sanitation is not at the forefront of every restaurant workers mind. 2 stars because taste of the food is decent. The cooks all wore gloves.

Las brisas was the place for a very good Mexican food and friendly staff. The carne asada tacos were the best. Now under the new owners the food is horrible, its not fresh and it has no flavor. The rice looks like sticky rice. The beef was re heated and it tastes like food from the day before. The salsa was about to be spoiled. Very disappointing and gross food quality.

I paid $14.99 for a chicken soup with veggies to go. When I got home and opened my soup I saw only 1 leg of chicken a couple of vegetables and the rest all broth. How can this be!?
