One thing I can say is the lunch crew from may 4th, 2023. Which was yesterday did not play any games. My burger was so fresh and good I almost forgot to take my pictures 🤣. Even the runner was a great person to me he was polite and made sure I was satisfied before I drove away. I would highly recommend eating at this location for your lunch 😋 runs. I'm glad I'm just a Lil drive away.😄
Grandson loves the burgers and playground here. Top notch pit stop for lunch.
I hadn't been to a sonic in a long while to drive into a stall and order my meal. Usually just drive thru. I was sitting in my car enjoying the music and meal despite carhop a guy forgot my change. But I was in a good mood figure I seriously don't need the change he might so god bless him. By the time I finished my meal I had made a call and as I turned the KEY--that clicking noise of BATTERY IS DEAD/ Dying.😲 quickly I ask the neighbor cars if by chance they have cables or a charger. NOBODY did...then I thought didn't I just buy one [portable charger ]recently?? Yes it's in trunk ...but dead as well.😩 I ask the manager if they can connect to outlet so it can charge She was sweet helpful, said let's see if it charges. 💫💫 Thankfully a Young employee 💟Halie Hallie Allie I didn't get it correctly spelling. Comes up to me If you can just wait a little bit My Mom💕 knows about these things and she will get it going for you. She's not far right now. She spoke with such Pride and true heart ♥ about her Mom. This Young lady working at this Sonic showed such a Beautiful Kindness Intergrity Respect Genuine Care for a stranger in need of help. MOM showed up with other family members in car and she just got into action of connecting her charger and It started my car. I offered mom $ she refused. I said ok then please accept it for your Working Daughter. She refused. I wanted to cry because I saw where like Momma like Daughter Beautiful True Hearted 😇 Angel's. Greatly appreciate this family for helping me. An Angel 😇 works here at this Sonic. I drove to Auto Zone where I had to purchase a new battery. Thanks for your help.🤗 HALIE With Super MoM.🤗
I love coming to this sonic! Every morning I come get a drink before I go to work! Every once in a while, I’ll get a little note on my cup “have a great day!” & it literally makes my day every time! They are always so nice & the place is so clean! Love this Sonic!!!
Reading all of these reviews have me surprised due to my experience being way different. I’m not a big fan of sonic because the service is never good, but my hubby insisted we got sonic. This sonic does not compare to the rest, service was quick, the food was fresh, and I actually enjoyed my meal.
Update 9/30/2025: Ordered the chicken bites combo with onion rings, and a soft twist pretzel. Very delicious. Have to order that again. Update 7/16/2025: Ordered the double cheeseburger with tater tots and unsweet tea with an extra order of tater tots and it was delicious. Great food and great staff. Normally, I don't have any problems with this location. The staff is very friendly and I've never had any problems with my food until today. I had ordered three meals, two of them were the correct ones. The third was supposed to be a #2, instead I received a #1. I should have checked the food after getting but didn't so that is on me. On top of that, the drinks were supposed to be unsweetened, they were not. Is that going to stop me from ordering from this location again. Nope, I like the food and the staff. I guess it must have been some new employees today.
This location is the best in the area. It is clean and super quick. Most of all I love how friendly the staff here are. My order is always correct. I see kids playing on the play area and love that it is fenced in. Overall, this place has it together. It would be great if other Sonic locations would take notes. Highly recommended 👌.
Update: We've been here many times, most recently today, March March 11th and not mulch has changed. The food is still ok, no improvements. The kids playground is fun, but we mainly come here to eat. Update: We've been here several times and the latest was March 5th. They continue to mess up the orders and food quality is declining. I am reducing their rating from 4 stars down to 3 stars. Got dinner to go today, December 14th. They were busy, but we got our food quickly. The food was pretty good but the fries were not cooked well. They were firm, not soft or crunchy. Tater Tots were about the same. Otherwise pretty good and yes, we will come back.
For the most part you all get the orders correct... but today... today you all stuck out. Strike 1, you left in the onions. Strike 2, you forgot my honey mustard. Finally Strike 3 and probably the most egregious... you forget to add my bacon. My $1.20 bacon... I'm not mad... just disappointed. Of course I didn't realize any of this until I got home. 🤦🏻♂️
This is not something we will do again. I've tried sonic a few times but this was the first with family and we decided it's nit really worth doing this again. The staff seemed ambivalent and the food was marginal. If they still used skates maybe it might have had that charm going for it but they don't. The place was not busy. There was a protected playground for the kids and you did not have to sit in your car to eat.
Third visit, 2nd review. I paid for bacon and again, no bacon. I let it pass the 1st time, said something the 2nd time and now, I'm done with Sonic. Staff is nice but orders always not what I pay for. I'll patron the new McDonald's across the street.
Went to sonic last night for some drinks and snacks. I understand places get busy but how hard is it to read a monitor and make an order correctly?! I paid extra for strawberries and lime in my slush and it came with neither. No lemon in my husbands tea, no ranch or marinara sauce for the cheese sticks and all our food was super cold! And yes we ordered all the condiments. Annoyed and disappointed
Yesterday evening I was so hungry for a hamburger so I went to sonic drive thru in Alamo parkway and I was so disappointed. The hamburger was burnt and looked like it was heated up again. It tasted and smelled bad. I can not believe they are serving the food like this to paying customers.
Large chocolate shake. It wasn't a shake it was chocolate milk. Was told they were having problems with the machine, but others were also getting the same thing and there's looked fine.
Food quality was awful - paid $4 for a double jr cheeseburger that was slopped together . I had more mustard , ketchup and pickles than beef . It was drenched in ketchup and mustard . Hope this was just a bad day for this location ans not the standard .
Terrible experience with the service. We walked in and there were clearly open tables, but instead of seating us, the staff kept walking past and seating other customers who arrived after us. We waited patiently, thinking maybe it was a mix-up, but it became clear they just didn’t care. No explanation, no apology — just ignored us while others were seated right away. Honestly, it felt disrespectful. We ended up walking out. If that’s how they treat customers before even sitting down, I can’t imagine what the rest of the service is like. Won’t be coming back.
I wanted to share my recent experience at your park, which unfortunately ended on a very disappointing and upsetting note. My visit had been wonderful up until a distressing encounter with a staff member whom I believe to be a manager named Vicki. As we were preparing to leave—fully aware of the park’s closing time and already gathering our things—Vicki abruptly stormed outside and harshly told me and the three children I was with to, and I quote, “Get out, the park’s closed.” She followed this by motioning for us to move faster, despite the fact that mere seconds had passed since she spoke. There was no courtesy, no professionalism—just an unnecessarily aggressive tone and body language that made the children feel uncomfortable and myself deeply disrespected. What stood out most was the lack of patience and the way she singled us out with such hostility, which left me feeling as though my family and I were being treated differently than others. Her approach lacked any form of decency or basic customer service, and frankly, it felt discriminatory. I can’t help but feel that if we were a different-looking family, perhaps we would’ve been spoken to with more respect. It was a deeply unsettling moment that marred what had otherwise been a pleasant day, and it left both myself and the children shaken. I hope this message leads to a serious reflection on how guests—especially families with children—are spoken to and treated by your staff.
I ordered a sausage toaster breakfast sandwich groovy fries and an iced coffee for breakfast today using uber eats no cheese I requested via uber eats app they left out the sausage had to throw it away drink did not have the. Chocolate syrup in it groovy fries were cold. do not use uber eats to order from here. I called twice to complain and had no answer. Order using uber eats with another location due to lack of service. Had to file a complaint with the customer service sonic phone number will not be a customer anymore.
I am a food delivery driver, I got an order from this location, I waited more than 40 minutes. They did not bring the order. One of the employee asked me move forward so others can pick up their food. I explained the situation, I said I am not gonna move because I am a driver, and waiting is wasting my time and money. I am not work as an hourly rate, I work for per order. He said, “ I cannot let you wait here. Pull forward and we will bring the food” Right now I am waiting 55 minutes, they did not bring it yet. I got 55 minutes 0 dolar. They bring other people in orders early because they give them tips? I do not knowIt is not acceptable
I placed an order at 2:02 pm. It never came out. Then I called them about 2:10 and a female answered. I told her that my order has not come out yet. She said she didn’t have it. I said you do and this is the address and she says oh I found it. At 2:27 it still wasn’t ready. The drive through was going very efficiently, so I wasn’t sure why after 27 minutes that I didn’t have my order. I pull up to the drive-through and they still acted like they don’t know what order I was talking about. They find it and had me pull up. I finally received my order around 2:35. There were no apologies or nothing, just here’s your order and walked away . Absurd! There was no reason for this! We checked in, we called, we had to go through the drive through and then still wait! When I went to contact Sonic through the app, their store number #6772 didn’t exist, therefore, I couldn’t submit this issue.
