I think I’ve left a review before, but I really just love this place. It’s not the best, most authentic Italian food you ever had in your life but it’s solid and always hot and fresh and I’ve never had a bad meal here. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. Delivery is sooo fast and all the employees from the counter workers to the drivers are pleasant. Thank you Mona Lisa for being reliable and consistent. I wish you were open later!

Came here for dinner and ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti, covered in their vodka sauce. It didn't disappoint one bit. The sauce was thick and creamy, and really complimented the savory chicken. The portion is huge, and this dish could have easily fed two people (or one really hungry person). This restaurant is a gem I'd be glad to revisit in the near future!

Ok so may I just say I had THE MOST DELICIOUS SATISFACTORY SANDWICH IN QUITE SOME TIME! A beautiful well done sausage, well drained beautiful fresh broccoli raab, with nice red roasted peppers, fresh mozz on a perfectly done garlic bread.. ooh perfectly done no seeds, a NICE glistening delicious shine on top with softness & flavor inside like perfection and made and travels with love!!!🤩 Oh My!!! Better than the famous overrated Prince pizazz in NYC!!! I ordered the Thick crust buffalo chicken flavor. No wonder it’s the signature item which is gigantic, cheesy and savory. The sausage mushroom tastes a bit spicy and savory. Great experience and reasonable price! Close to where I live.

*The Tale of the Chicken Parmigiana Sicilian Pie and the Horrible Reality of Deliveries...* Now I've eaten a lot of different pizzas at Mona Lisa, but I never knew this existed until my friend told me about it. I recommend this. Fresh and so good, it was devoured upon arrival. Great being back in Jersey after seven years. On the bad side, if you're a delivery driver, don't pick up from here. They make you wait in line when they should have a separate line for drivers. Also, they force you to have a bag… Now I've delivered all across the USA, and never once have I been required to have a bag… Want extra support? Give bags to your drivers. You make plenty of money… LA doesn't even require a bag, and their pizza can't compare to yours. Moral of the story: To the owner, get your restaurant organized or lose delivery business.

I ordered buffalo chicken slice and white sauce pasta out of which pizza was good however pasta wasn’t. I bought small tho quantity of pasta was less and chicken was stale. The prices are okay, staff is good and helpful. Sitting area is not spacious.

I have had mona lisa’s pizza for many years and in recent years when I go back to NJ to visit and have had their food the quality has declined. I ordered a chicken parm, not only did it take forever to get but when i received it it was excessively burnt on one side of the sandwich. I always order extra sauce on my parms but this did not have that either, the sandwich was quite DRY… I didnt complain being that i was hungry and they took a very long time just to make a sandwich. The prices are just crazy too i paid $51 for a sandwich, 2 slices (which were extra thin and dry), 2 canolis, 3 sodas and a pepperoni roll…..Im not sure I will make Mona’s my go to anymore when im back in NJ. Honestly it isnt worth it, better places in the area.

They have really fixed this place up to look good, just wish they did the same with the food, it is always inconsistent. Mostly we order in, at times great, others not. Money getting too tight to chance ok to definitely not ok. They use to honor when things were weren't good, these days sour cheese doesn't count or pasta so dry sticking the fork in the middle was able to pick up the entire plate spaghetti stuck together in ball! One night when we ate there we were telling the waitress and she said next time we ordered to ask for her and she'll make sure everything is good. We found a better place in Bayonne, good every time, so far, we're keeping our fingers crossed. If you order from here...Good Luck.

The indoor seating is a wreck, they need new tables and chairs AND they need to clean the tables cause they were grossly dirty. Told them very little red sauce because they give you that option...but they over loaded it with red sauce so we told them and they fought us in it and would not replace the food nor would they refund us. Do not recommend

The worst food I taste ever. Chicken is like expired or stored for long time, pasta has no taste and Pizza is very bad. And when you complain they talk very bad

I've ordered from this place very often over the years. Just today we ordered a simple plain pie. Was told it would be 30 - 40 minutes. 1 hour a 15 minutes passed with no delivery or update. Called in and was told he should be there shortly. 1 hour and 30 minutes passed and still no delivery. We called again to cancel. The driver finally showed up. We still wanted to cancel. They establishment didn't show much care at all for being so late on our delivery. The person on the phone seemed like they didn't want to be bothered at all. They canceled our order have being almost a hour late without even trying to make it right for a consistent customer. Taking my business strictly to Corner Square and San Vitos. There's way to much competition in this town to not do right by your customers
