Place is small, but food is excellent! I had the special of the day which was cabbage and Nashville hot chicken on top of a cornbread waffle. The rest of the table had fried wings and they were also excellent. Service was very accommodating. Will definitely return any time I'm in Florence.

This is a really great little place!! I didn’t know it existed until my boyfriend seen it on instagram. (It was one of those social medias) and I decided to try it out because first I love food! And they have these AMAZING fried green tomatoes!! Oh they were wonderful! I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of the menu for you guys yet. But I will next time. A bunch of people came in before we left so things were cramped. The tea here is the best I’ve ever had!! It was great! We got the fried green tomatoes, chicken covered fries and wings! Excellent service. Really nice lady at the front. Fast service! Very clean and welcoming! Enough parking in the front. If you gonna use maps to get here it will bring you the the BACK of the restaurant. So watch for that. I just drove around front. This is a gem of a spot! Tasty SOUL FOOD! There however is no air conditioning. But there’s a fan! The foods definitely worth dealing with the heat!! Great place! There’s even a game to play to pass the time on some tables. Food was super fast so didn’t need it. But I liked the thought. Also, you order up front at the counter where you just ask to see a menu. Handicapped accessible. I loved drinking from a mason jar! Just like at my great granny’s place as a kid! Felt like home. They do take out. Some people there were ordering for that. Kid friendly.

A friend and I had lunch here today and I must say it was the best I have had in a long time. I got boneless wings and she got the tenders and fries. We split a red velvet waffle and it was sooooo good. Thad and his staff were so kind and the food was amazing! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Hidden Gem with Big Flavor! We had lunch at Soul Wingery & Records and were so glad we stumbled upon this local hidden gem! The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious—full of flavor and clearly made with care. The service was excellent, warm, and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. If you're looking for a spot with great vibes and even better food, this place is a must-try!

They have the best boneless wings you'll ever eat. The fried green tomatoes are delicious too. Everything is homemade...even the sauces for the wings. The dipping sauce is absolutely delicious too. Definitely the best food in the Shoals area...actually some of the best food I have had from any restaurant. The service is phenomenal as well. They're always so nice and polite. I can't say enough great things about this place.

Some of the best food I've had in Florence in a long time! Owners were ridiculously nice, too. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! We got the Cajun ranch, spicy BBQ, and garlic herb wings along with the Buffalo chicken wings. Pics included!!!

Great spot for a meal downtown. They make food to order so it does take a few extra minutes. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. We got the chicken tender sandwich and some loaded fries. They also have an area with records that you can buy, and have soul music playing in the restaurant. I would recommend ordering Togo unless you are a small group as there is not much seating.

Wonderful service and fantastic food. The wings were perfectly seasoned both the buffalo and the fried ones with waffles . We will definitely be visiting again. The place has a nice atmosphere too and like the in the name they do have records there.

I was in Florence for a work trip & was looking for a place to grab some dinner. I placed a call-in order, but the location was out of wings. The young lady was apologetic and suggested the boneless wings instead. She was so sweet and helpful! I’m usually not a fan of boneless wings, but these were so good! They were seasoned to perfection and very crispy. I also had a side salad and an order of fried green tomatoes. The sauce that came with the tomatoes is delicious and they have the creamiest ranch. The concept of wings and records is the absolute best! Lots of vinyl to peruse through. Inside is cozy with minimal seating, so go with just a couple people or order to go. Service was very friendly. I’ll be back next time I’m in Florence.

Should really think about updating business hours. Every time I come they’re closed or closing when it says they’re open til 5😩 Food is so good the blank trip is a heartbreaker.
