The tacos and tostada were delicious. The chips are thin and fresh, and the margaritas were $5 but did not skimp on the tequila! The vibe was fun and it was the perfect escape from the hot sun.
Oh my goodness, these tacos are incredible!! Most vegan tacos I’ve had around here have been fine but nothing to write home about imo. These are different; I got the Rico Ocho and the Madre Tierra and they were both absolutely amazing!! I wish I took a picture of them, but I think the pics they show on the menu are pretty accurate! You should absolutely try this place, I seriously doubt you’ll regret it!
First timer and I’ll be a long timer. Food was 5 star. Margaritas were 5 stars. The owner Mani makes everything from scratch and is awesome.
Very good latin fusion. Great hot sauce. Try them, they're great. They also have a full bar with seating on each side
This place is amazing! They hand cut all of their veggies, cheeses, etc. The owner Mani is so sweet and the food is so good! Prices are really good, too!
Yummy! My husband is from Mexico and we live in New Mexico. We happened to stumble upon this place and it was delicious! Great menus for lunch and breakfast! Loved our food, drinks, chips and salsa, and mine had cinnamon plantains which was the best treat!
Amazing and fresh! I had the Pobrizo, and the flavors went together so well! My wife had the breakfast quesadilla…excellent! The breakfast potatoes were light and crispy, not greasy at all. Native Texans visiting from Tulsa and we miss a good Mexican breakfast. We weren’t disappointed!
Fantastic fresh tacos! The food was great. The queso has a nice chili flavor. The chips were good. The guacamole was very good. We tried the taco plates. They have full size tacos, so two was plenty. The fajita beef was good as were the shrimp and fish. I opted for the grilled fish. It was excellent. Our server took care of us. And the food came out quickly. We'll be back.
I came in from Michigan and wanted to try a local restaurant close to my hotel. I got the chicken fajita nachos. They were very tasty 😋 and more than enough to share. Pricing was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I believe that it is worth the time to stop there and eat a good meal as they've got a variety to choose from. It's wheelchair-accessible, has outdoor dining, and has plenty of parking. I'm glad to have tried it out, and you should, too.👍🏽
Taco Ocho is a great place for hanging out with family and friends . It’s a casual dining experience. Great options for vegetarians and meat lovers. Loved their tacos. Great selection and their margaritas are so yum. Their chips are so fresh and one of kind salsa. Try the hot salsa which has a kick. On an average of you spend $15-$20 you will be full. Service is good and staff are friendly.
Great food and friendly staff. Excellent vegan and vegetarian options available. I had the taco plate, Rico Ocho and Ocho Maya, the rest of the party had nachos, salad, and beef taco. All food tasted fresh and well cooked and seasoned. Only down side is they use pre-made tortillas. Would have been great to have a fresh tortilla.
What a delicious treat! We popped in after church on Sunday for lunch and were so pleasantly surprised. The taco meal is so unique and tasty. A great value for the money, the staff was kind and accommodating. They have deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays and $3 mimosas during brunch. If you like spicy salsa, theirs will definitely please. Check them out!
Dear owner of Taco Ocho, I love my Taco Ocho in Flower Mound. I ordered in the late afternoon this time instead of lunchtime. On a small takeout order, I tipped almost 4 dollars and then had to ask for the chips and salsa that come with my order. This is my problem with tipping for takeout or anytime I’m standing up to order. She did apologize, but I should’ve been offered another tiny small salsa for them forgetting to give it to me in the first place. I wish I would’ve walked back in to ask for that, but decided not to. I also tried to call the restaurant to ask about their specials and they don’t answer the phone. And there’s no contact us button on your website. So food is good but service and ways to be reached need improvement. Please do better because I want you to stay in business so that I can enjoy my delicious tacos. Please also consider doing something about the wind tunnel.
First time at this location. The tacos I had were good sized and you can see they had a good amount of meat in them. I had a Latin Love and a Jalapeño Pork taco. I think the other two dishes ordered at the table were not quite as good, a torta that had very little meat in it and a quesadilla, that while it was okay, was expensive as far as quesadillas go. If I go back maybe we’ll just stick with trying out more tacos. Vibe is sort of fast casual but with full service pricing. They have all day happy hour drinks on the weekends.
Dropping in on Cinco De Mayo for some Tacos and Margaritas! The food was delicious and the service was great, but the place was freezing and a bit pricey. The decor is is cute and modern, but they had the air conditioning on full-blast which is one of the reasons we left. Their Dragon Fruit Margarita is very tasty, but we had to leave because of the cold. Yummy food, but probably wont be back.
I liked this place. Good choices, willing to make adjustments for veggies, not heavy food, chips not too salty like many other places, salsa was good, remember to ask for habanero salsa if you can handle it. Quick service but fresh food. Definitely recommended whether you want a quick bite or just want to have a good afternoon with friends and drinks. If they had more salsa choices that would make this place a 5 star for me.
I went to Taco Ocho for brunch and had the Chilaquiles. Overall these were good. The challenges with my visit is that the service was just okay. My server seemed more interested in tasking versus serving, and was not attentive. Other individuals tried to make up for this, but I honestly just wanted to finish my food and leave due to the service. I am willing to try again, but maybe for a different meal time.
The food was not bad. However their menu is cryptic and their happy hour information is very misleading. Happy hour says Beers 3 dollars all day weekends and we ordered two different beers ( both local) and neither of them was 3 dollars. 1 was 6 usd and 1 was 4 usd. And when we asked, we were told not all beers are 3 USD. But then, the menu should be clear . But they don’t have a clear happy hour menu that identifies which beer is 3 dollars either. It seems like the menu says one thing but reality was very different.
Well. This was an experience. I came to this place today and was greeted promptly to place a takeout order. The lady at the bar was exceptionally kind and provided good recommendations for my first time being there. Her attitude was very welcoming for my first time. However, upon receiving my food and coming home, I bit into a taco and hurt my tooth. This was a beef taco and I was perplexed. There was a staple in the taco. I am saddened as the fear of biting in and getting another harmful foreign object would upset me greatly. Unfortunately, this whole meal was a loss and the service provided was overshadowed by my food experience. I rarely get takeout or eat out in general, and after a grueling 13 hour shift, this was a big damper on my evening. Very unfortunate, and I wish I could get a refund on the money and time spent.
