Two Cajun foodies from Louisiana working our way home from Portland, we stumbled upon this little gem in Ft. Stockton TexasVery quaint homey diner serving up some kickass brisket. Skip Buccees and eat here. I had the brisket sandwich without the bun add sauteed onions. It came with hand cut fries and a sweet tangy bbq sauce. The burnt ends were especially delicious. Connor had the brisket fries - same hand cut fries topped with same brisket and covered with a green Chile cheese sauce. Slightly spicy and delicious! Family owned and operated, they take care of their customers. Clean restrooms as well.
This is Fort Stocktons greatest secret! If you’re traveling and your hunger sets in don’t pass this place up! Great food and Dog friendly! Not just service pets but all dogs if they are well behaved.
We found this diner by accident. What a gem. The food was fabulous. Everything is home cooked. The owners were amazing and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in.
Stopped in due to the reviews. The sweet waitress/cooks wife was so relatable and kind. The food was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend getting the BBQ plate! I felt like I was at a backyard cook out. Everything tasted amazing!
Stopped here on the way to Alpine, TX and had a delicious brisket sandwich and a Texas Tater. The owners were so kind and gave great service. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
One of the top three burgers I’ve ever eaten, in my five decades of eating burgers across the US. When I say top three, I mean it might actually be #1 or #2, but I’m not sure. What I know for sure is B’s deserves to be winning awards. The chili fries were delicious too. And the customer service was so kind. I arrived embarrassingly close to closing time, but they graciously fed me the best food I’ve had in years, with friendly smiles and some good conversation. What a blessing.
We are coming from Tucson Arizona on our way to San Antonio. Was looking to have a good juicy burger and B's did not disappoint. Burgers on point, fries made from scratch. My husband got a steak made to perfection. Their homemade banana pudding was so delicious.
The food is amazing! I had the catfish platter and hubby had the 1/2 lb burger. The food is definitely home cooking Sunday dinner quality. We’ve been stopping at fast food restaurants when coming through Fort Stockton and we were disappointed at missing out on this food all this time. Customer service was superb! Tonya is super sweet and treated us like family as soon as we walked through the door. We will be back.
I always love coming to B’s Diner for their specials, burgers, and sweet service. Today they had ribeye with a baked potato or fresh cut fries, salad and dessert that I just had to take the whole family with me lol. I’m really glad we did. The ribeye was seasoned so well I didn’t need bbq sauce. I always love their fresh cut fries. I also love their turkey special and fish fry specials throughout the year. Their burgers are always amazing and I love smoked trademark B they put on the bun of their burgers. I love those small details. Anyways, if you’re ever in the area you need to stop here for the delicious food and enjoy the sweet service.

Food is yummy!! The gravy with the fries was awesome!! They have very tasty veggies sandwich as well which is not in the menu. Warm vibe. Loved it ❤️
Needed to eat while on the way back from Big Bend National Park. So glad we took the detour. A great place with great food. The owners are wonderful people. Had a fun chat with “Mrs B” and she tried her best to get us to take on dessert! Great burger, great catfish sandwich!
A great local spot for lunch in Fort Stockton. They have daily specials every day, but I decided to get a cheeseburger with the hand cut fries. My burger and fries were excellent. Our service was very friendly and personable from the business owners. I would definitely like to go back.
Amazing restaurant. Very good food. Excellent service. Very cheap. Ordered the brisket fries and wings. Both amazing but was genuinely shocked by how much brisket was on the fries. Highly recommend if in the area. Work a stop.
From the moment we walked into B’s Family Dining, we felt right at home. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of immediately, which set the tone for the whole visit. The owners are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet—they truly care about making sure every guest has a great experience. The food? Outstanding! The portion sizes are generous (true Texas-sized plates), and the quality makes it well worth every penny. The Texas Tater was absolutely delicious—loaded with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can really tell that everything is made with care. On top of the great food, the atmosphere is comfortable and family-friendly, the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy a good meal. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines welcoming service, hearty portions, and excellent flavors so perfectly. If you’re looking for a spot that makes you feel like part of the family while serving up meals that leave you satisfied and smiling, B’s Family Dining is it. We’ll definitely be back again and again!
The food was really good. The perfect bun for a good ole fashioned hamburger, cheeseburger etc. The chili was some of the best well balanced homemade I've had. On another note, I am picky about my iced tea and theirs was perfect! A water filtration system makes all the difference. This is truly a family run and oriented restaurant and it shows. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time! GO PANTHERS! Fort Stockton and Pflugerville.

Homeade from scratch! These dishes are served proudly! Texas size portions will make the big guys happy. Burgers and fresh cut fries stand out , but the home made Texas chili gets alot of attention as well. I hade the regular burger with green chili cheese fries. This was amazing. If you can get here M -F 11:00 am till 6:00 pm, this is the place to eat in FS.
Such a cute family diner with homey food. Get the brisket fries—they are super good. Portions are big, so you’ll eat well. Service is great. We stopped here on our way to Big Bend National Park, so totally recommend doing that since after Fort Stockton, there is like nothing. Also felt good supporting a local restaurant like this 😊
We stopped here for lunch on a Monday on our way home from Austin and were pleasantly surprised! The burgers were HUGE and we could barely finish them. They were some of the best burgers we’ve tasted, juicy and flavorful! The cat fish was absolutely delicious and the service super friendly !10 stars, definitely recommend!
Definitely a gem in a small town, the green chili asadero sauce is great and unique. Meat quality was good, and the price was very good for how it tasted. The brisket BBQ burger, quarter pounder, steak fries, and the chili were all amazing. It was cozy, flavorful, and exactly what we wanted on a long drive.

We were traveling back home from California and decide to give this place a try and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Dine room was closed so we order out, food was fresh and hot. The burgers are a must try here, meat was juicy and delicious. We will definitely be stopping next time we drive by.
