Absolutely love this place. The inside looks not so pleasant but the customer service is good the food is amazing. The portions will last you for 3 days. Highly recommended

It's a great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant! You literally get a lot for your money! I recommend the black pepper chicken, jalapeno chicken, lo mein, rice(both white and fried) and the egg rolls! They also have a really good tea, I don't drink tea but I will from there! I will say, I found out that the employees don't get the tips, just the owners, so I cut out giving tips! They also offer chop sticks if you ask.

So I live in Grand Prairie so I don’t come here often but I do delivery for my company and when I’m in Ft Worth I make it a point to stop here and grab lunch. Great portions and delicious. I have ordered combo fried rice and sesame chicken and both are very good. The meat is tender and chicken is like real chicken breasts. Curb appeal not the best but the food is really good!

Had their sweet and sour chicken, pretty good! Also they let me use their phone when i had an emergency and I'm eternally grateful!!

The people here are always so nice and very generous! I like that it is very inexpensive and they give you more than enough food! Have you ever gone to a buffet and order a to go plate and feel cheated? No. 1 Chinese Restaurant food portions should be the new standard! I have food for 3 days and even if I share with my two kids, we still have some food left over. The plate is so good it almost can't close! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed! Food is good, customer service is alright but the sweet tea will make you wanna slap yo mama, straight diabetes in a cup. Just delicious. Maybe a little hole in the wall place but it's good and they always give a big serving. Good, cheap and serve alot. I'd recommend it. Will be back.

I work really close to No. 1 Chinese Restaurant and always go through the drive-thru. I find that I only get the noodles and chicken sticks or large chicken stick entrée. I can be a glutton for sugar biscuits every once in a while. Great price and great chicken sticks. Egg drop soup on occasion too.

I been going for years, since it opened.. I have no complaints, there always fast & good food..soy sauce is great with the rice & chicken...I like the chicken stick & half lo mein half fried rice...its affordable & lot of food....I highly recommend.. Its way better than other Chinese places, especially panda express...

This is our go to fast food Chinese food place. Nice large portions enough to split one plate. It's best when it's eaten/served fresh because once it's cooled it is edible but it's not good.

My go to spot for combo fried rice ( shrimp/ beef/ chicken) Yes its so good the portion size was enough to feed up to 4 people. Very budget friendly. Social distancing measures are in place. Nice clean place to dine in or drive thru.

Food is good for the price. They really pack the containers full so you get more than enough, one plate really feeds atleast 2 people. The workers are friendly and service is quick. You'll be in an out in a matter of minutes.

I love to come here. They give you plenty of food for the price. Their prices are fair. Delicious food! The only reason I didn't give a better rating is because they are not always the cleanest. I watched a man chopping broccoli up and some fell on the floor. He just picked it up and put it right back in with the clean broccoli. I was really disappointed and disgusted that I didn't return for months. I did speak with someone there and they said that they will talk to him and they clean the broccoli before they cook it anyway. Hopefully this changes especially sense this process is in plain view of the public and or customers.

First off if you're a local and call most asian buffet "Chinese food" then you will have zero problems with the menu. If you're looking for something that's more contemporary that you seen on tiktok then you probably won't like it. It's not my go to place for beef fried rice but the portions were generous and the service was fast and friendly. One order that lasts me 2 meals for 10 bucks is hard to do in 2024. They also do large orders for big events for a really good price worth calling and asking. My only complaint was no egg in the fried rice. Now I did not ask for it so that's on me. Also I probably would have to pay double currently.

I love this place. Unfortunately, they have a new employee and the last two times I've ordered, I get a messy bag from too much liquid overflow. This time I was overcharged and she forgot my egg roll and chicken sticks.

Very inexpensive BUT you get what you pay for. Not the best quality of food. They are always quick with your food. The restaurant is relatively clean. This used to be an old Taco Bell so the building is very old. All in all its a decent place to grab a quick lunch.

The over-all value is decent. The food is quite greasy, but it's very cheap, and they give you a lot of it. Two people could eat for $14.00 and have leftovers. The inside is small and dated, but there are several places to sit. The restroom was cleaner than I expected it to be.

I really like this place, but they always forget our egg rolls, and always put onions when we tell them No onions in our shrimp fried rice.

If meh manifested itself into a Chinese restaurant this would be it, the lo mein is bland and flavorless, the orange chicken and sesame chicken barely taste different and the rice is okay. Nothing about this place is great but for the price am I really going to complain? It’s not good but it’s cheap and I’m reviewing this place for what it is a cheap Chinese restaurant. For 7.55 you get the 2 entree plate and if you’re broke or poor this is lunch and dinner. It’s not great, there’s not really any veggies but it’s better than starving. So overall for a cheap Chinese restaurant it gets 3 stars, but tbh I’d probably prefer a fast food rival to it. But the price can’t be beat!

No 1 Chinese, as in no one working here is Chinese. You get just what you should expect, cheap "fake" Chinese food. Food is not very good if you are craving Chinese food. But what you pay for the amount of food you get is not bad. I recommend the sweet and sour combo. You get a lot of food for around $6... however the sweet and sour sauce taste watered down or is just cheap. Don't get the noodles they where gross.

It's a lot of food but they use dark meat on the fried chicken items and it's VERY fatty and full of grisle. The fried rice was very dry and not very appealing. Super friendly staff and loads of food for the money.

Long wait time. My order was correct, however the food was unsatisfactory. The flavor of the food was good, but the look was unpleasant. My food was too drenched in sauce. Very heavy on the sauce.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken to go. Got home and saw there was no sweet and sour sauce. I called to let them know and I was told that I had to order the sauce separately. So beware, the sweet and sour chicken is actually just plain chicken. Almost too funny to be mad....

What happened to this place. It was only a few years ago we would go and get a full over flowing Togo box for like 5 bucks. Just went and paid 10 dollars for a half full Togo box. When did y'all start ripping everyone off? I've been there and the lady told the other lady that's not enough and fill it more? What happened to her i liked her lol.

I had always gone there to buy our favorite food Orange Chicken and lomain But this time was the last one We had the Worse experience ever Last night we purchase 2 plates after 10 min had to go back Due to my Son's Finding a long black Hair Disgusting very:(( Seriously?? And later after about 20 min we arrived home My Husband begin to eat his food order from there as well was orange chicken and Rice At one point he grabs a piece of orange chicken and notice that he was about to eat a Strange long Metal piece at about 4" long Like Really WTF IS going on with this S***t What the he'll that could of Most likely had send my Husband to the F Hospital I'm calling them all day and No Answer I had been at work and just now Spoke to the health Department Division and Set the complaint For this Issue hope And keeping fingers crossed They Do and or Go and inspect /Check This place out Seriously Guy's Watch What Y'all eat from now on .... You get what you pay for, the food is mediocre. Most of the entrees with meat dont even have meat because it's just breading. The food is greasier than a teenager's forehead. The establishment itself looks very run down. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Yesterday I went to pick up a order for my family and I and they messed up my dad’s order he asked for a shrimp plate and they gave him a plate with some kind of fish mixed with some shrimp. I paid for rice with 2 entree, plus a side of fried shrimp( only got three shrimps) , they charged me 14! 86- hell that's two meals and ng plate look like a kids plate. Hell naw

First thing the night crew sucks. They do not have any friendly bone in their body everytime I come to this restaurant the cashier has the worst attitude. But what really set me off was trying to order food a few minutes before closing and they ask "what we can get you" as if they had everything available on the menu. But when we gave our order they say oh we're out of that. Which understandably I get being close to closing time. What bothered me was after we decided to take our business elsewhere their response was "ight". Never coming here again. This place used to be great but their new staff is far below compitent.

Let me start with if you are hungry and want to eat alot you will get big portions on decent amount. But the food is not so great in taste. I was there because i wanted to eat chinese and this one was close to my work but i might not be back there.

Probably the worst lunch I have ever had. The chicken was cold, gray, and old enough to be inedible. They do give you quite a bit of food. I threw almost all of it away. What I did eat is making me sick as I type this. Unfortunately, my lunch hour was too brief to return this atrocity of a meal for a refund. All I can do is warn others away.

I went there yesterday and it was raining. Placed order and got food and went to sit down. I noticed water buckets all over the restaurant catching water dripping from the ceiling. They had no wet floor signs and not enough buckets, water was everywhere. I started eating and was thinking if it looks this bad out here no telling what the kitchen looks like. I was trying to eat and water kept dripping on my head. We took our food a threw it in the trash and left. I told the girl at counter and she didn't seem to care. We will never go back.

Went yesterday and the gentleman was phenomenal. Went back today and the lady that helped was total opposite. Very rude and disrespectful!! She needs to take notes from the young man because she has no customer service skills. Anytime I spend $50 on lunch i expect at least mediocre customer service but she was very very rude!!

I come here all the time and grab food before work. But the new chubby girl that was at the window tonight kinda makes me not want to continue if she's going to do this again. Missing about half my order (I get the same every time so I know what there is.), And she didn't even close the box all the way before she put it in the bag. So it was all over the inside of the bag it was put in before being handed to me. I was also charged almost twice the normal amount. Normally great service, great food. Tonight made me not want to come back. Please either train her or get rid of her.

I didn't eat here but from what I can tell from the less than 5 minutes I was on the phone with someone they have a problem. I gave service 2 stars only because at least the girl on the phone was honest. I wanted sweet and sour chicken and she bluntly stated "you won't want it, it's not fresh and they've gotten hard and they ain't making no more". I ordered food her a few times and I noticed the few times the Chinese lady that's always at the front maybe an owner is always rude. This last time I ordered asked some questions about the menu and was put off but the last straw was when my food came out she slung it at me. As a business owner myself I told her in front of her customers that she was rather rude and that your coming into a black and brown community who pretty much are paying your bills you better get your act together because we don't have to support you. As I walked out I noticed 2 other people followed and told me sir you are right. The food is ok but remember customer service is what keeps people coming back! I will never step foot in this place again.

My husband and I are new to the area and he wanted to try the food which I already knew was a bad idea. Just by looking at the outside and seeing how rundown it was when we got inside it was just as bad and looking at the food it was not very appealing and I knew it wouldn't be appealing to my palate. If you're going to come in behind a previous establishment which I'm sure this place used to be Taco Bell at least make them proud!!! This restaurant should change its name to next to last restaurant instead of No.1 I went there Wednesday night and pieces of food from each tray was mixed in with each other the egg roll was full of grease didn't eat it the rice was like super sticky and the orange chicken was mostly chicken fat. Now I understand why the price is too cheap, because the food and the service matches the price. Never will I eat there again this place is sad and by the way I tossed my whole meal it looked and tasted nasty. Lesson learned.......

I have NEVER in my life had to through my Chinese out. Like I am obsessed with Chinese food. This has got to be the worst I have ever eaten!!!!! Fried rice don't even taste like fried rice. I took my daughter to eat here, We both ended up with food poisoning from this eating astablishment. Cross contamination is present. A Multitude of flies buzzing around carrying diseases. The drinks taste like only water. Yes you receive an abundance of food. Worst experience of our lives. I will avoid this place at all cost. I wish I could give this place no star.

This place has baby roaches crawling everywhere , and the Chinese lady behind the counter knows but doesn't do anything about it . Plus she's very bitter and rude , hard to understand and treats her employees very badly. She needs to learn manners and learn how to treat her employees and customers with respect. Won't be coming back .

Went though the drive-thru...which did not work btw....and placed my order at the window; after sitting for 15 minutes I got someone's attention and asked what the hold up was and the young lady let me know they didnt have black pepper chicken or lomaine. I politely said, "Thank you, I was just wondering what was taking so long." and she replied, "Yea, normally I would offer something else but we dont have anything else." 🤔🤔 I continue to wait in line, at the window, with a non working drive-thru and 5 cars behind me. (Once a car comes behind your car you are trapped) When I finally receive my food 30 minutes later and ask for siracha sauce she informs me it is .25 each. 🙄🙄 I finally get home 50 minutes later to hard rice and dry lomaine. 😭

Not a "Number One" restaurant by far. Make sure you always check your order before you leave. They forgot several things from our order and when I called, they told me id have to drive all the way back to get them. This would cause my food to be cold. They didnt seem to care.

Roaches in the lo mein!!! I called back and asked for a refund and they said i needed to take the food back to get my $ back. When I got there, they said they wanted to see the roach before giving me a refund . Like what??? 😩 I told them to not act surprised about the roach, because I read the other reviews and the guy said they’re aware, but it has been three months since the last time someone complained about a roach in their food. ….like what?? Funny because there’s another review form 3 weeks ago and one from a month ago. This place is gross and unprofessional!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE! My daughter found a hair and a roach leg in her takeout food. There are other people complaining of the same experience in their reviews, which indicates that this place is unhealthy and needs to be shut down until the problem is completely corrected. Someone please notify Fort Worth Health and Sanitary Inspector to do an audit of this restaurant and enforce compliance with food service health regulations. This place is disgusting!

I found a whole freaking cricket in my food. It had been cooked whole. I didn't find it until I had eaten half my food. Update: I reported to the health department and was told these guys have a "history" and they are investigating.
