Staff was annoyed by my server because he was cutting up like he was in school. Another customer had to get after him and told him the reason he was getting orders wrong was because he was playing.... And he wasn't wrong. Our server was bumping into other employees and being rude, made a facetime call, and was having a great time running around smarting off to the other customers around us. He forgot about our waffles BUT he did get us free OJ so that was cool. Thanks Darius 👍

Our waitress Nyla was very friendly, professional and patient. She was even singing as she was cleaning of tables. DJ cooked our food. My pecan waffles were GREAT (even after I poured a good amount of syrup on them, they maintained a great taste and didn't get soggy. Definitely turned my day around!

Great menu and the staff are just jewels. They are very helpful and often bubbly personalities. There atmosphere is that of a "cheers" type bar without the surly drunk guy giving you a hard time while the food reminds of grandma's house with flair. I recommend this waffle House as one of the best around. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been to a few Waffle House’s over the years but this was probably my best experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. They had a few problems with one of the grills that morning but kept everything upbeat and worked hard to keep the food coming out quickly. I tried one of the new hash bowls and I’ll be ordering it again.

I showed up in the early evening and wanted to get on here and say how much I enjoyed my experience. I was in and out within 25 min. My cook was Orb and did a great job, hooked it up with the bacon too🔥

It was clean. The food came to us fast and hot. Didn't like our waitress brought the check before we were done eating. Then asked if we would pay it because she was leaving. Lastly, asked if there was a tip. I felt a little rushed. 🤑 The receipt had one item on it for $27 + tax. We had 2 meals and drinks.

I was greeted by at least two staff. The place looked clean and one of the staff directed a young employee about cleaning the smoke grates. My food was as good as normally received at any Waffle House. That is why I always return when I have time or in the area. This was the first time that I visited this particular store. My experience was pleasant and I would grade at 8 of 10. I rarely give a 10 because you can always improve somehow. I lost my credit card and looked up the store to see if it was left there. Waffle House is the leader in breakfast. You talk about efficiency, they are pros! Always have a good food experience here, but service was just a bit off this time. It's rare when they don't follow your order right, but this was one of the times. Good thing about that is, they fix it in a heartbeat. Always happy to eat here! Definitely recommend the breakfast special with waffle, and substitute the toast for a biscuit and gravy!

I have come to this waffle house about once a month on average over the past 8 years. Food is always about a 4.5 out of 5. Service has changed over the years, like anywhere else. Sometimes, the servers are nice. Sometimes, some of them act like they have something better to do. For me, I know what I'm getting when I come in. Good food, and I work through the rest.

It’s Waffle House! It was clean. Our server was polite but the cook seemed put out by us being there. They had the booths closed. We were informed that they are only doing Togo orders. They were out of a few things we ordered but over all it was not bad.

The customer service was off this time. The restaurant was busy, a d chaotic and my waitress must have been frazzled. I ordered the All Star Special- the only thing I ever get. Ingot my waffle Ns was nearly done with it before I got the rest of my food. I had to ask for refills on my sweet tea, and it seemed as though I was inconveniencing her for the things inwas supposed to get. I asked for butter, and was told they were out. But my toast had butter on it. Don't think I will be going back to this particular location for a while.

That was the worst food I've had at a Waffle House. The "famous" hash browns had a odd taste, they didn't taste fresh at all. Sadly, the browned ham bits, sprinkled over them didn't help either. The grilled chicken sandwich was a disaster. The waiter didn't seem to have a clue what came between the two halves of the bun besides chicken and the menu wasn't particularly enlightening either. I don't remember the last time I walked away from a plate with that much food on it. It was a waste of my time and money

Door was jammed. Employees saw me trying to open the door and they just stood and looked at me until I walked off. An employee was outside smoking and I asked him why was it closed. He told me it wasn't but the door does jam from time to time. He was very nice and opened the door for me. His name was Paul. My waiter was awful. Tall black guy with some kind of rag on his head

The waitress Baylie sucks, I order my food which was an all-star special, got my food in about 10 minutes all but my waffle she checked on me 1 time and then went and set down. I had to ask other workers for jelly and my waffle which I finally got over an hour later. I don't advise sitting her section wherever she's waiting at you will be highly disappointed like I was today

If your skin isn't the right color expect to be treated differently. As soon as I walked in the whole place got quiet....like I wasn't wanted. Took my order ok but never asked if I needed anything, after they brought my food, never asked if how the food was, when I went register to pay. The lady just stared at with the expression of give me the check, pay your money and get out I was one of only 3 customers in the place and couldn't even say thanks for coming in. Guess if I had two takeout windows because the area is so bad they can't have the dining room open from midnight to 600am, I wouldn't wanna work there either. I wont be back. Told them all to have a blessed day and laughed as I walked out the door.

It was just me and one other customer, and 5 employees yet somehow they still messed up my order. Then I ordered a soda and despite the empty glass and employees doing nothing but being on their phones I never got a refill. I went to pay they asked for my ticket I explained I didn't get one and pointed to scrap paper employee wrote it down on. they then used calculator instead of register to ring up total.

Greeted by friendly staff. Only saw own person in and asked where is the rest of her co workers. She explained that they all walked. Couldn’t really tell me if they had just quit 10 minutes ago or just called it a day because she didn’t even know. Was pleased to see her fellow employee walk in from outside only to be accompanied by a Chihuahua. No leash but loyal to the T. It followed her in the employee break room. When another customer asked why was she petting the dog outside but then handling utensils she said it’s a emotional support animal. Not really sure what that has to do with not washing her hands but as always it wouldn’t be Waffle House if this didn’t happen. Luckily we got our food just in time before this other cook came in and started rubbing his balls while cooking simultaneously.

I cannot believe the experience I just had at Waffle House. I never im 40 years been treated so poorly by anybody anywhere. I went on to place my order togo waited in patiently in line. I wanted to know if they sold the jalapeño biscuits and when I asked just looked at me. I let this slide but when I order an all star with biscuits add gravy, he said I couldn't and that was doing too much. He through out the rest of this transactions so much I had to ask him to watch out how he talks to me. What's worse was the manager was on the grill right behind our conversation and did not even turn to acknowledge or address this situation

This location is trash. I've ordered from here 5 times. 4 times they messed up the order and one of those I was told I'd get a refund that never happened. The only thing they get right is greeting you when you walk in. Don't waste your time. Just go to the one on Oakland.

I would give it minus stars if I could. I had never been to a Waffle House before so decided to check it out for breakfast. What a disappointment!!! You would think that having made as many waffles as they have since 1955, they would have it down. Mine was misshapen and barely done. My 2 scrambled eggs were barely cooked enough and looked like they used the smallest eggs ever. The sausage patties were small and over cooked. The grits were the only good thing, and the service was relatively good, considering the terrible and stressful work environment. Even if it had been good, not worth the price. Never again!!!!

Just left this place service was horrible, when we first got there young people behind the counter talking loud playing my friend wanted to leave at first she thought there were about to fight then to top it off, the bacon wasn’t cooked done sent it back still came back cold and raw, worst experience now I know why I don’t like Waffle House on top of all these young people to loud play arguing and little dude cursing. It’s a time for doing all this when the job is empty.

0 stars. My and my gf walked out while the “unprofessional cook” left our food on the grill and went in the back to the staff room while our order burned up. Still made me pay for their “efforts” even though we left hungry so now I’m out $20 and still hungry. Go to Arlington location if you want a decent Waffle House, this one has more flies than employees and the staff don’t clean anything! If no customers present, they run thru their cigarette packs outside until customers do appear. I’ll be disputing the transaction, thanks Fort Worth WH. WORST WAFFLE HOUSE EVER. I asked the server to wipe the counter after waiting to be acknowledged for 10 minutes. I then asked to speak to the manager, he said in a minute but never came. Another server helped us, we were there for 45 minutes. The manager never came so I asked for his name he said Rich and walked off. Him and the employees were arguing with each other. The place was filthy, I would say skip this one and find another location.

My husband and I wait for minutes for service. First they where fighting over who's going to clean dishes. Finally someone acknowledge us and say Chris you have customer. And a guy point at us say where like we where no body. We. Live. Even a customer apologize for the behavior. This was 5/28/2022. This is the waffle house I frequent the most. They may forget my Chili every now on my all the way hashbrowns minus jalapenos and gravy and sometimes the scrambled eggs are to loose and sometimes my over easy eggs have over cooked yokes on my take out order BUT thier personalities and attitudes are always GREAT and they remember a face!!! (THIS WAS MY OLD 4 STAR review from years ago) NOW there are quite a few Potheads and inattentive Waiters who spend an great deal of time going in and out of the bathroom. You get asked what did you order 3 or 4 times and even then you have to try to get thier attention to remind them, when they are not in the bathroom or laughing and joking behind the counter. This place did a complete 180. Stay away!!! Every location around this one is better. I have been to each of them. This one is now the worst.

Walk in and sat down. The waitress told us after 9:30 pm it’s to go only is that ok. We said yes and assume she would take our order. Instead she walked away and left us sitting there for 15 minutes until we just walked out. A few weeks before we went in around 3:00 pm. There was no waitress just a cook who told us she would be right with us in a few. We waited for 5 minutes or so before he came and ask us what we wanted. He said he would start our food and she could write it up when she came back inside. She came inside took the order and had an attitude when I ask her to put my extra ice in a regular size cup. After the cook was done with out food he served us. He even came back to check if it was anything else we need.

That place not served before was one of the best! The cooks were good, the attention to the climate at this time is useless and the place is super dirty, and my husband was sent to exchange a $ 100 bill at the gas station and the girl did it in a bad way since they did not have change and They did not accept a debit or credit card either, the annoying girl threw the money at him and told him to go to the gas station to change, we did not take a bill of more than $ 50 dollars, I was so upset at that moment because of the lack of respect for my husband . It is the worst place to eat. I don't even finish my food. I'll take it cold and all greasy…. the employees are not educated I do not say that all but the majority.

Today is 3/1/24 at 10am. I'm sitting here now listening to the workers argue with each other as I eat my food. My waiter went out for a smoke break. Came back inside and continued serving customers. She never washed her hands.. Manager standing right there and said absolutely nothing.

If I could give 0 stars I would! First of all when we sat down at the low top the server was cursing aloud while we had two small children with us, which should be unacceptable in any family establishment! Then we sat for 15 minutes before he came and asked if we were ready to order without asking for our drink order! There was no organization within the entire staff and the manager was too busy cooking to look up! I’ll never visit this location again, horrible service, and the culture overall needs to be changed!

First off I did not leave an online tip. I do not believe in tipping before receiving product. I was planning on leaving a $5 cash tip. I did not leave that tip for the following reasons. This place usually alright, but I tried online ordering for the first time and got let down. They said they had no online orders to which I showed them my order details, to which the cook said, "I'm going on break", and wait staff started my order. While waiting for the food (a half hour past scheduled pick up) no one offered coffee or beverage during the wait.(*Granted - I was not expecting them to offer free coffe/beverages while waiting, just thought it would be good customer service...) When I got home realized they made both items on the order incorrectly. 1-incorrect eggs and under done waffle (edges literally batter). 2-missing cheese. Additional observations while I was waiting. Not busy - only one couple in a booth. No excuse to miss an order. The bar seating dirty - puddle rings from previous drinks, trash and food debris scattered the entire bar. No attempts to clean up by staff hanging out in the back. No customer service - staff was uninviting, un-empathetic, and some down right rude. Would have cancled the order if option was available through app/online. I wasn't even about to go through the head ache of asking the staff to cancel/refund. Next time I will drive the extra miles to the next house.

Came in at 1:30 am to get some late night food. They have the door locked and day their closed, but besides today they have always been 24 hours. Also there are people inside now. I called 30 minutes prior, but nobody can answer a phone.

Poorly managed location. When you walk in great locations, you're greeted upon entry and return a greeting. Here, you can be first to say hi and go unnoticed. That's on the management to train employees Wafflehouses culture and standards. I had to ask for a server, ask for coffee, ask for a spoon, then get up and ask another server when mine blew my polite request off. My job as a customer? Show up, show up hungry, show up with a smile and good attitude, be prepared to pay and tip well according to service. I did that. Their job? Everything else. I left after coffee because my server came to work bent out of shape, not wanting to be where she chose to work. I paid another server to cash me out. Coffee was $2.50, gave her a $20, and told her to keep the change but promise to not give a cent to the server that just couldn't be bothered with customers. Her manager should have put her off the clock and told her not to return until she was prepared to bring her professional self to work. I still ate elsewhere. This location has awesome food and awesome workers, but for me, I don't need to keep going where it's a toss-up as to which day the team is on point. Managers set the tone or fail too. If a customer shows up, they did the hardest part for that business. We could have stayed home, or gone to over a hundred other places in the DFW. Won't be back as this wasn't the first, second, third, or fourth time. This is the culture of Wafflehouse. This location is the Spirit Air, the Carnival cruise line of diners. We just can't act right, especially towards ourselves. If you know, you know.

Didn’t even eat here because the first 10 minutes went so horribly. My boyfriend and I sat down. No “welcome to Waffle House” or “we’ll be right with you”, NOTHING. I don’t know if they were ignoring us because my Man is White, but he literally had to take 2 menus from behind the counter so we could look at them. THEN every employee goes to the back and starts yelling at each other for the whole place to hear. We just walked out. Black people, we HAVE to do better in customer service jobs. SOOOOO embarrassing 🤦🏽

Let me start by saying, that there were flies everywhere in the restaurant, they had people who could've been trying to clean or kill the flies, as there were only 2 customers including myself and I would've appreciated it if did something about the flies or reacted to the flies. The coffee tasted like there was some type of chemical in it. The food was fresh but I couldn't eat because of the flies trying to land on my food and it just was gross.

My order number was 33529961472819200. I placed my order online at 10:54 am. It said my order would be ready at 11:10 am. I arrived at 11:08 am and walked to the counter. I told the gentleman I am here to pick up my online order. He said Oh I didn’t even know we had any online orders. He said let me get started on it. Now, I watched customer after customer come in after me and order and get their food before me. It was not until 11:30 am I heard the gentleman say to another coworker, we have two online orders, do you want to do one and I do the other”? At 11:41 am, I watched a customer that came in well after me and ordered at the counter, receive their food before me. I asked the lady that handed them their food, that Ineeded to talk to their manager. She said the manager is not here. I told her that I ordered at 10:54 am and that it was supposed to be ready at 11:10. I walked to the counter and then told the initial gentleman I spoke with I want to speak with a manager. He calls over a young lady and I tell her my issue. She says, “I already made it” it was sitting on the counter. Now my food had gotten cold. I asked her her to remake it. At 11:54 I got my food and it still wasn’t correct. They forgot the bacon! This location is pretty decent but this has been the lousiest experience I have ever had.

I went to this location this morning and had breakfast.. Everything was fantastic until an employee came out of the bathrooms with a mop and bucket where she had been mopping at the floors. The lady had set of lips tattooed on her neck left side of her neck. She went behind the counter, where they were preparing food and never, and I will repeat. Never wash your hands and begin to dry off pans which the cook was cooking.. She was listening to rock ‘n’ roll, singing and dancing around when she should’ve been focused on preparing herself as she entered the cooking area. I spent many years the military I started to say something, but it’s not my restaurant nor company that is nothing but filth. The cook the other two ladies I should say three ladies waiting on me or clean cooperative and so kind. The food was fantastic.. But the other lady, I didn’t even get her name I had to leave after I paid. I will continue to go there, but she needs to go. If you guys have cameras view your cameras today. I was there. after 12. And dined between one and 130. Have a blessed day.

I don’t want to talk about them too bad, but idk they may need some constructive criticism. First of all I paid 32 for 2 meals that were not what i ask for🤦🏾‍♀️, I specifically asked for no cheese and I had cheese all over my hash browns and burnt on both meals. Also I had to ask for a receipt which is a reprint and no itemized nothing that shows what I ordered, very suspicious to me, and im not sure what the 32 dollars was for because all i had was a cheesesteak omelette meal and a cheesesteak sandwich meal… robbed me but its fine I won’t go back‼️

Overcharged, messed up order. Burnt bacon and no cheese on bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Took forever to get a to go order. I know it's tough to work in a restaurant, but some customer service would be awesome. It would also be nice if you trained your employees to wear masks properly and to not goto work when you have a cough.
