I happened upon Trattoria la Mamma by chance with three other diners. I found the welcome fantastic, the service friendly, and the menu excellent, all of which they created, with every course delicious. Highly recommended if you're in the Fossano area.

Just like at home with your mother, "you eat what's available," without a menu: the efficient waitresses pass by with plates or tureens and ask if you'd like any appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, dessert, and coffee. Very fast service, bright, clean, and welcoming. A great place for a lunch break during work: you can eat comfortably in 30 minutes and, with water and a quart of wine for two, it costs €12 each.

Nice, spacious place, fast service, friendly staff, good value; well done guys! A multi-course business lunch: two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, dessert/fruit salad, drinks, and coffee are included in the €12 menu. I'm curious to try other tasting menus on weekends and the Piedmontese fritto misto they occasionally serve on Sundays.

Trattoria with impeccable service! The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The vegetable and meat nest is spectacular. But the highlight is the fritto misto, the restaurant's signature dish. Highly recommended, especially for the young staff who are always available to help diners. Must try!

Weekly business lunch menu, which is also a festive menu. Today, Monday: Piedmontese tartare and veal with tuna sauce - tagliatelle with ragù and creamed vegetable soup - chicken Milanese, Venetian-style liver, and sautéed carrot sticks - amaretto and fried pavesini biscuits. All courses served to everyone! Water, wine, and coffee... Final price €12.00. The quality of the dishes and the excellent service.

Great for a lunch break on a budget. There's no à la carte menu, so you have to order everything. The price of the whole thing is actually a little more than a main course, so it's still good. Good food and efficient service. Perhaps a little too hectic.

I decided to have lunch at this trattoria after seeing a sign advertising directions. The place is cute, and it's crowded for lunch, which I really like; it makes everyone happy. There's ample parking outside. The formula is really simple: you sit down, and they bring your food! Today (Wednesday), the menu included: a cured meats appetizer, gnocchi with walnut sauce, rice soup, sausage, cutlet, and Brussels sprouts, and dessert. Water and coffee. Simple dishes, but well-made! All for €12—what more could you ask for? Quick service and friendly staff.

Dinner with friends, renovated location, three appetizers offered: tartare of young beef, asparagus with raschera sauce, a small parcel with salad, served with Venere rice, and a skewer of baked shrimp. Risotto with garden flavors, with a pleasant hint of rosemary and sage, but served very liquid, giving the impression that the rice had been precooked and then stirred into this sauce. Tagliolini with ragù, a ragù that in my opinion was light or cooked with the lid on, pale in color and not very punchy. Pork capocollo with cinnamon apples, good, could have been even better if the meat had been flavored with cinnamon, but instead it seemed like it had been cooked without the cinnamon, which was present in the apples. Interesting anyway. Strawberry cup with jelly, and bunet, wine, coffee, and digestif for 25 euros. For the price, it exceeded expectations, with friendly waiters. We'll return for a more summery menu.

It's normal place where you can eat lot of Italian dishes without very accurate quality but if you are good fork then this should be right place also by the bill side
