We had a splendid dinner, with the dish of the day (spaghetti aglio e olio e peperoncino), a shared salad and a desert. The people at the restaurant were very friendly, even though there were many guests. It might be a good idea to make a reservation ahead, if you know when you will be there. Thanks to the team, we will come again!
Such a lovely place to get a cup of coffee and cake at St Bernard pass. The place has parking available nearby and also has special access to the lake. Have a cup of their deliciously thick hot chocolate. On a cold day, it was just out of this world. The place was very welcoming too. We also bought the Aosta liqueur there as well. Must visit if you are at the St Bernard pass.
It deserves 10 stars, the food was excellent and cheap, the service was faster than any other fancy place in the city. Everything was fresh and tasty. I definitely recommend passing from here instead of the tunnel, and make sure to eat/drink here! Absolutely amazing views!
A fun lunch. We enjoyed some unique menu items, such as boar stew and rabbit soup. The polenta was also fantastic. Dessert was the highlight. Tasty food, very reasonably priced. They were happy to help even though they were very busy. If you don't have reservations you may need to sit outside and service yourself at the bar.
It's just a great place! Although there's only a small team, the service is the fastest I’ve ever seen. The food is delicious and fresh, with plenty of parking available. Plus, at 2,400 metres, you’ve got the best view around. I highly recommend driving through this pass and stopping by this amazing restaurant!
The food was just amazing, great traditional flavours, good portions and cheap too. The staff was kind and friendly. It is a good stop for lunch or just a drink, the view on the lake is beautiful. Loved it, will definately come back. Very impressed.
Very conveniently located restaurant; focused on a small menu so the service is quite fast for the volume of guests that come through. Very reasonably priced too. Plenty of parking outside
So simple but super tasty!!! Take the mix of antipasti, it comes with exceptionally tasty bacon from the mountains, mushrooms in creamy sauce, vegetables. I absolutely loved the polenta with cheese! All of this for a reasonable price and with a super picturesque atmosphere around.
The staff were very flexible with us arriving with no reservation. They helped us find a decent table that worked for the family. They were kind and helpful throughout. The food was very good and the service was prompt. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Definitely worth a stop if you visit the area.
Exceptional for the price. The service and the food were excellent. The wines selection is quite amazing! The service as well, excellent QP ratio, I recommend this restaurant to anyone.
A favourite! We've been coming here over several years and the food is just delicious. Simple and great :) Make sure to stop by and enjoy the best Gnocchi with melted Fontina cheese.
Fabulous bar ristorante. The staff are very lovely and very helpful. We were lucky enough to get the last table and wow! The food was amazing, very best we've had eating out in a long time. The service was fast, efficient and extremely pleasent. The price was a very welcome surprise after a week in Switzerland!
The cheapest mealwe had on our trip to Switzerland was, unsurprisingly, just over the border in Italy. Good, wholesome food and quick service, definitely worth walking across the border for!
Top class food at great prices. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Worth the trip up the mountain in itself.
Sensational! Traditional cozy alpine style, great food & drinks, quick & friendly staff. 100% worth the drive over the pass
Really lovely restaurant with reasonably priced traditional food. Beautiful views of the mountains and lakes.
Really fantastic place to stop to eat when crossing grand St Bernard
Went here with my husband for the first date night we'd had in a while. Making a reservation made the whole process easier. Service was great - good recommendations from our server (shoutout to Desmond!) and just the right amount of attention without being too much. We shared a couple entrees, an appetizer, and dessert and our favorites were the hot honey pizza and the seasonal butter cake (it was gingerbread at the time). We will definitely be back for the next time we want to treat ourselves!
They Cracked the Code... Some people say all Italian food is the same. Well, North Italia is not your typical noodles and sauce restaurant. We had 4 in our group and decided to try a little of everything. We had calamari, garlic bread, and meatballs to start. Then ordered 2 different pizzas. All excellent!!! Our server was bubbly and full of suggestions. Checked on us over and over. (Thanks Lexi) The atmosphere can accommodate everyone from those on a date, large groups, and the casual sports fan with a couple TVs at the bar PRO TIP: Get the Garlic Bread ...wow! Over the top
What a wonderful dining experience on a Friday night! Ian and Ashley were top notch. The seasonal vegetable salad with salmon was an amazing surprise (half gone in photo), the scallops were over the top, crispy eggplant, shrimp scampi, cheese truffle garlic toast - all perfect. We’ll be regulars.
First time here for brunch. I had steak and eggs, vanilla gelato, and an IPA. Odd combination I know. Really nice restaurant. I was amazed by the knowledge of the menu by our server Emma. She was kind, offered suggestions, and made our experience a plus. Her personality will serve her well with food service.
We had an amazing experience there tonight. The atmosphere was lively with all the people coming out for Valentines day, and the staff was just as lively and friendly. Our waiter, Alex, was top notch and could not ask for anyone better. The food was also way better than expected. Everything has great flavor while not going over board (the white truffle garlic bread is where the heart of the flavor is) and every dish was respectfully different. We will definitely be back and will try all the other dishes.
Located on Aspen Grove Drive in Franklin, Tennessee, this italian restaurant offers a menu of pasta made fresh daily. The pizzas appear to be wood-fired Napaoletana style. We ate here on January 18, 2025. We had the Prosciutto pizza with fig, goat cheese, and arugula as an appetizer. It was superb. I ordered the pasta-Riccotta Cavatelli with crab and shrimp. It had red pepper flakes that gave it a slight kick as well as a lemony cream sauce. I really enjoyed it. My husband enjoyed the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka that had sausage and a red sauce. We both had the terzo size (I think 12 oz) of the Paul Dolan Cabernet Sauvignon. It had a smooth yet bold flavor. For dessert hubby enjoyed the brookie sundae, and I had the gelato flavor of the day, strawberry balsamic. Both were great. Our server, Skyler, was very friendly and took great care of us. She was attentive to water refill needs and checked on us a few times.
Amazing food! We split Caesar salad and Bolognese pasta. Picture of HALF portion. It was more than enough food for substantial lunch. Cosmo cocktail was great too. Only complaint is taste soda water from bar, it taste like tap water. Use better water filters could seriously improve taste of that soda. Surely be back!
Wish we’d had more time to enjoy what is clearly a quaint cafe atop the mountain with stunning location opposite the lake - just time for a brace of espresso before motoring off at great speed! One euro each!
Flies detract from otherwise friendly service and delicious dumplings... reason enough to cross the border! Good lot for overnight parking of our camper van.
Great stop on the Italian/swiss border. Food selection is good and portions were large. The place was very busy but good seating outside. We got spaghetti and polenta and both were great - v reasonably priced too!
I had such a lovely experience at this restaurant. The space itself is beautiful—cozy, stylish, and just a really pleasant place to be. The service stood out right away; everyone was so friendly and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. And the food? It was really good. You can tell they put care into what they serve—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. I’d definitely come back
No longer the step-sister of the Green Hills location, this restaurant shines on its own, with good service, really good food including the Italian Meatballs and White Truffle Garlic Bread. The Wild Shrimp Scampi is accompanied by tasteless toast. The Tiramisu is a lot, and has solid ladyfingers. With a full bar and a diverse wine list in an open bistro setting it is a go-to.
Cool little spot for an Italian experience everything from the atmosphere to the food was amazing. I got lucky enough to go with a decent sized group of friends to try a little bit of everything and there was not one dish that I had a problem with. Our server was attentive and recommended some great options as well. As a lover for pasta this place was definitely one for the books.
The food is OK but the pricing is are outrageous. Away from my order two pizzas and a small salad. Only water to drink and our bill was almost $75. I can’t imagine how they justify this price in our loan. It’s outrageous. We will not be going back although the service was adequate and the food was good. It is nowhere near worth the price that are asking
We started with the bread appetizer and it was just ok, the shrimp scampi dinner was on the dry side with only 5 shrimp with the tail on, which to me was unappealing for the price. The atmosphere was pleasant, but for the price and food quality I would venture to stay up at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere rather than the food. The wine selection was good and our waiter was very kind, which made the experience memorable.
We beat the dinner rush and wanted to sit at the bar. A group had moved a bunch of chairs to the end of the bar and I was scolded for trying to move a chair into a 6 foot gap for myself. That started things off poorly. I am 52 and had to wait for my husband to bring my ID to order a drink. The bar tender did make a lovely drink. There are 3 bartenders who were very attentive. Food came FAST. IMO, TOO fast. The pasta was cold. I got the chicken parm and asked for a spaghetti sauce as I hate wasting a lot of tomato chunks. Instead I got a creamy/cheesy? sauce. That was cold. The chicken was ok. That's it. Underwhelmed with food. (lastly: she asked me if I wanted a box WHILE I was chewing my food...)
Im glad I placed a pick up order because it was not a welcoming environment. I knew something was amiss when I went to the bar to grab a drink for a my togo order and all the bartenders left the bar. So when one (who seemed to have drawn the short straw) begrudgingly took my order and provided the drink pictured, I took around and realized that I was the odd one out... of the color spectrum. So I paid for my drink (which was poorly made and tasted terrible so I tossed it) and left. At least my food turned out ok.
