My wife and I love this place. We like how it's a mom and pop hole in the wall place. Came here with our kids who loved the waffles with whipped cream and strawberries. I usually order steak eggs and bacon. Wifey loves her omelette. We will frequent this place and I highly recommend for quality breakfast.

Excellent service super friendly family owned independent small business and ok the food is humble but always fresh and just like you cooked it at home. We are so quick to post about terrible places. We have been coming to Cabrillo Park Cafe for years and now that El Rodeo is open we are at both places all the time. These 2 restaurants neighboring each other are both family owned by brothers. I highly recommend you try them if you haven't yet. YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

Real good food & service! Our first stop was a couple of weeks ago returning from Oakland. We were greeted by the owner when we entered very friendly. I ordered the carnitas omelet and my husband ordered grilled chicken sandwich (which the owner recommended) and both were delicious. We liked both food & service so much we drove from San Jose to eat here again today. This time I had chorizo egg potato pancake did and husband had club sandwich. No disappointment once again.

Picked up breakfast for our household - tasty classic breakfast combos, breakfast burritos and golden potato pancakes on the side as well as a couple of fruit bowls. The portions are very generous. I called in the order and is was ready for pick up in 15 minutes. They are also seating indoors and they have an outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. Super friendly owner and staff.

Cabrillo and El Rodeo are located next to each other. I love coming to these restraunts. The food is great the cust9mer service is amazing super family oriented I mean come on they are both owned by brothers. Great place to host events, parties get together and business events. I have a meet every MONTH and we love attending both places. Check them out and try them out. You will definitely make them YOUR GO TO PLACE!!!!

AMAZING!!! Soooo delicious, we forgot to take pictures! We got a French toast combo, and a chorizo burrito. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and big enough to share between my husband, my two daughters, and myself. Service was amazing. Everyone was soo kind, and welcoming. It felt like having breakfast at home. I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area. Sooo delicious! Please try that chorizo burrito!! Bomb bomb! Also, prices are very reasonable! Very good in that area as well!

Price is fine, not the cheapest but appropriate - everyone in our group had plenty. I had the Enchilada Omelette and can definitely recommend it. We're eager to return.

Their wheelchair access made it hassle-free. Greatly appreciate it We were welcomed warmly by their hostess Deisy and the Owner Felipe. My husband and I ordered their Chorizo Omelette with home potatoes perfectly seasoned with onions and bell peppers with a side of sour cream, avocado, and pico de gallo. We also had a solid fresh and tasty chicken salad. Food prepared with the absolute the freshest ingredients. The BEST chorizo omelette I’ve had! You know that feeling, food SO good bursting with flavor it makes you dance. Best of all you’ll be supporting a family business. I hardly review unless I’m really impressed. They have earned our business. We will definitely have them cater our family events. Thank you Deisy and Felipe. God bless you and your business.

Cabrillo Park Cafe is absolutely amazing! The food has such good flavor, one of the best breakfasts I've had in the Bay. My wife and I shared the chorizo omelet and chicken steak salad and both were outstanding - and omg the country potatoes were perfection! What sets this place apart is it's friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming environment. It's very clean and spacious, so you can actually relax, have a conversation, and enjoy your meal without feeling cramped or rushed. This place checks every box you'd hope for in a great spot, and exceeds them. Highly recommend!

This is a cozy little cafe with hometown diner vibes. Server Fidel was great. He made sure our coffee was always topped off and that we had everything we needed. We ordered the chicken fried steak, Belgian waffle, and kid’s French toast. Everything was delicious. Prices seemed higher than what we’re used to (we live just outside LA), with most items $17-$20 a plate.

One of the best services we’ve ever had… it’s not just about the money but about taking care of each and every customer with excellent services.. i don’t know what we enjoyed more the food the service or that it’s family owned.. Alejandro was part of our favorite experience, he was so polite, helpful, efficient and very well spoken.. not everyday you see a 12 year old as proper as him. As well as the young girl who was also very attentive and polite.. everyone was so welcoming and gave excellent service. We love that the owner touched just about every table and made sure everything was good. One of the best restaurants in Newark and Fremont community. We will definitely be coming back!

After hearing so much about this place, I finally had the chance to try this place out. My experience is that this is an old school diner if you are into that sort of vibe. Overall though the place is overall a good time if you are interested in that old school diner feel that you might find on something on diner drive in and dives. I ordered a carnitas omelet (comes with bread/fruit and hash browns) and I have to say it well justified its price of about 17 dollars + tax at time of review. Calling it carnitas might be a bit misleading, since in my opinion it did not have that texture that carnitas it usually has. It was closer to what you get with beef. It was still a good omelet. The people working here were attentive and so nice as well. Overall though, I would recommend that people who like breakfast food or interested in diners to check this place out at least once. As for me I would be interested in coming back again.

We went here for a Saturday brunch. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was reasonably priced. That is why the two stars. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Omelette & the Greek omelette. Both the omelettes were bland and had no taste. We got a side of Farm Potato Fries and Hash Browns. Both had a smell of reused, smelly oil. When we let the server know, he mentioned that he will make sure not to use oil the next time. Unfortunately, there won't be a next time for me there. :-)
