Firehouse Subs

I just hit Firehouse Subs for the first time ever today to pick up an online tuna sandwich order, and MAN OH MAN!! 😋 They made it 100% correctly, including "scooping" (cutting) out all that extra inside bread just as I like, and as an unexpected added bonus, the amount of tuna they gave me was such that it overflowed from the bread. Absolutely scrumptious 😋, I will be returning this week and from here on out - thank you to the staff at the Fremont (CA) Auto Mall store, very well done, keep up the good work!!

I got the hook and ladder medium sized. Dang, bread was almost perfect. Crispy outside and soft inside. Turkey and ham were also yummy. Reminds me of old school mom and pop sandwich shops. Service was also clean and courteous. Highly recommend.

I love their smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. Good meat, very tender. The atmosphere is always comfortable, and the staff are always friendly. Especially if you or your kids love firehouse type things, this can be very exciting. They even have plastic firefighter hats for the kids. :)

This place is super good! Way better than Subway. They have A deal every day of the week! I got the tuna.(can add your own toppings) The place is nice and clean. The staff is really nice unlike the rude service at Subway. If it’s your first time here they go over the menu with you and they tell you what local vendors they got their products from.

Sandwiches are delicious and the staff is courteous. I didn't know that they put mayo on my brisket sandwich and they remade it with out question. I wanted to leave a big tip and they don't have a tip jar and asked me to put the tip in the donation jar.

This is a wonderful sandwich shop that has a lot of choices. The bread is delicious. The staff is very pleasant. I've been a member here for a long time. I would recommend that you join their rewards program.

I didn’t go to their place, but one of my relatives brings us some for us to split since he got a large size of it. Honestly, I haven’t been there for a long time, but I probably should go back often.

The location is great. It is easy to find it. The food quality is very good. The amount of meat they put was a lot for the amount of price of the sub. The sub was delicious, we ordered a Medium turkey sub with white bread. I personally like it more than subway but that is just my opinion. This place also helps the fire department and donates part of the profit to it. Highly recommended this place.

We had the medium Turkey Bacon Ranch, Turkey Jamaican Jerk, and the Hook and Ladder subs. Both were great! Their bread is really good.

The store does a great job of upholding the reputation of Firehouse subs. It's very clean inside, and the service is good. Most importantly, my sandwich is delicious.

This is a good deli with good quality food. My favorite part is actually their hot sauce collection. I'm a sucker for a good hot sauce, so it's great that they give me the opportunity to try so many and decide which ones I like and which ones I don't.

Good sandwiches! Lots of different hot sauces. New style soda machines are great. Usually good service. Rated 4 stars as is somewhat expensive.

The sandwiches were baller but the workers didn't put what border's what on 4 orders of sandwiches, so we were all confused, but a worker was forced to help us after my father stormed the building. Everything else was great tho; the food and the careful service due to a pandemic.

good sandwiches with good atmosphere. staff are friendly and the is a great selection of exotic hot sauces. that alone gets my vote. too bad it is a bit cumbersome to determine any add on and dressing with only a far away tiny rotating menu. they should fix that. also the soda machine is best liked in choices.

I like Firehouse Subs. They only have a couple bread options but they're both good. The rolls are soft, and the sandwiches are well built. Lots of ways to customize your sandwich with toppings, dressings, etc. The cookies are good and the service is fast.

Update: The last two times I've been here, I placed orders online for multiple sandwiches and my sandwich keeps being wrong. It's either missing an ingredient or has something I asked be removed. My coworkers will keep choosing it for lunch, so I'll just have to pass on those days. Original: The service is good. The line moves pretty quickly. Self serve beverages. I love the cherry limeade and refills! I've done catering orders a few times and they've been perfect and on time, including all the condiments and pickle spears on the side. I like that you can get your sandwich in different sizes depending on how hungry you are. I just haven't found my go to order yet. There are tables and umbrellas outside for a sunny day lunch break. Parking can be tight during lunch and dinner because there are quite a few restaurants packed into that small corner of the shopping center.

I am so conflicted about the meatball sub here. There's nothing wrong with them, the ingredients are good, and I support the franchise's support for first responders, but I always find it hard for them to compete with Subways. Had a craving for a meatball sub after eating a disappointing one at work. Ordered one here, picked it up, ate it at home, and it did not fill that hole of disappointment. It's a very basic sub, meatballs, bread, cheese, maybe some garnish, but I still found myself thinking that Subways had a better tasting (albeit lower-quality) sandwich. I'm gonna stick with the smokehouse beef sandwich, it's never disappointed me when I'm looking for that heavy savory flavor factor.

Came here with a friend and my kids. Ordered a large philly cheese steak. Overall fairly disappointing, considering our bill was well over 100 dollars. Meat was lukewarm, bread tasted stale. I dont know. Togos and even subway seems like a much better deal

My wife and I were excited to try a new sandwich shop. For about 12 bucks we got the Engineer sandwich. Upon receiving the 8-in sub, we think the sub engineers must have used a micrometer to make sure they didn't give us an extra micro-millimeter. Extra tight tolerance for sure. I was surprised at how light it was, almost anti-gravity. the sandwich virtually floated. It reminded me of the first time I picked up a Nerf ball and how airy and light it was! The pre-packaged, bag lettuce obtained from some chopshop wasn't brown. That was a plus. It looked like we had a decent amount of meat but we found it was the paper-thin, pre-cut, probably pressed turkey. It was very similar to the cheapest micro-sliced, nearly tasteless turkey found on the grocery store shelf. It was like a soft, easily dissolved, unidentified material soaked in a thin, weak broth of turkey parts. The wheat bun (I checked the color of the bun to make sure it was wheat because the flavor was white.) held together but the bun was incredibly fluffy. I'm confident that without the contents of the sandwich, I could have stuffed the entire bun in my mouth with a little bit of room to spare. We won't be running back soon.

The quality is industry standard but the value just isn’t there. I paid nearly $10 after tax for a 3.5" pepperoni meatball sandwich and a pickle spear. That’s outrageous. For the same price I could get 2 slices of pizza and be totally stuffed. Plus they want tips (for counter service and self pickup?) and donations for firefighters. I left feeling picked clean instead of fed

No cheese does not mean accidentally put cheese on my sandwich and then half-heartedly pick it off. If you have any food allergies or just a strong preference for having your food prepared correctly and honestly, do not visit this location.

Food was good however staff were rude and there was no sign on door that dinning room closed at 8pm they closed before 9pm and not at the time on the door and we waited 20 to 30 minutes for our food. It is like the staff did not want to work. Poor customer service will drive people away regardless of good food.

I’d never been to this place before and the pictures looked great. I had a medium turkey sandwich- it was almost all shredded lettuce with some super thinly sliced turkey. Tasteless and almost $11. I would not recommend it and won’t be back.
