⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Al-Hadara was absolutely amazing. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We ordered the large lamb platter over rice and it was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The rice had great flavor and the portion size was huge, definitely enough to share. The hummus was smooth and creamy with olive oil and chickpeas on top, and the fresh bread that came with it was warm and soft. Everything tasted authentic and well prepared. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt comfortable. If you’re looking for quality Middle Eastern food with generous portions, Al-Hadara is a must try. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Super impressive Yemeni cuisine- We ordered the beans, Baba ghanoush, shakshukah , and dates breakfast. Everything tasted very fresh and illuminated with flavor. The milk tea and coffee had a delicious cinnamon cardamom type of taste. Fresh ingredients and very clean restaurant. Definitely will return again!
I was passing through Fresno and tried al hadara restaurant, it was wonderful. The chicken was tender and the salad base was fresh and delicious. Strong recommend.

I had such a great experience here! The customer service was excellent friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. I tried both the Lebanese and Yemeni dishes, and everything was full of authentic flavor and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for delicious food and warm hospitality.
i had the best experience here at the restaurant al hadara, the food was very good, very flavorful, what made it 10x better was the atmosphere. servers were very friendly and attentive. the mixed grill plate made by the chef “So”was very delicious. i also tried many of the breakfast items and yemeni lunch items those were so very tasty. this place is a very family friendly, i definitely recommend visiting this traditional restaurant.
Highly recommended amazing place for families. Excellent services. They trade you like. Family not a customers. They also gave my kids free juice. Thank you for being in fresno
The best soup I have ever tried from Arabic cuisine. It was delicious and, service was great. I also had kafta sandwich, light and so tasty... It's hidden treasure, you won't go wrong and it's not expensive!
I had an amazing experience at this Middle Eastern restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic — from the perfectly grilled kebabs to the creamy hummus and warm, fluffy pita bread. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The staff (chef SO) was very welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, with a touch of Middle Eastern culture that made the whole dining experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots in town for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors. Highly recommend!
The food here is incredibly delicious. I tried a variety of dishes, including, Mandi, Salta ,Haneeth and the Taboun bread ,which is always freshly baked and tasty. The fruit coctails( Arayes) was also good. The customer service was exceptional, particularly from Om Rabiee, her daughter and the other lady at the front. They were always welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. E.Diab
The service exceeded my expectations, the lady taking our order is such a sweet heart and quite literally radiates a beautiful energy. The food is amazing and flavourful, they didn’t shy away from the seasoning which is rare to see in a cultural restaurant. 10/10 would go here again.
This traditional Yemeni restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly flavorful and authentic I highly recommend the Mandi and Saltah. The meat was tender, the spices were rich, and the freshly baked bread was perfect. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautiful traditional decor and friendly staff. A great spot for anyone wanting to experience real Yemeni cuisine. I’ll definitely be back! Not only was the Yemeni food amazing but the Lebanese food was at its finest! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hummus was creamy and rich, the tabbouleh crisp and zesty, and the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and tender. You can really taste the quality ingredients and traditional recipes.
Excellent service and delicious food. Felt so comfortable and didn't want the food to end. Adeni tea was the perfect amount of sweetness... very hard to find. Can't wait to come back.

Hadara isn’t just a restaurant — it’s like stepping into a different world for a little while. The food feels like it’s made with soul, not just skill. I’ve never had Yemeni cuisine like this before, and honestly, I didn’t expect to be thinking about fahsa and haneeth days later. It’s the kind of place where the smells, the setting, and the warmth of the people make you want to linger a little longer. Definitely not your average dining experience — in the best way possible.
The food is very bland. This is not for everyone. The price does not justify the taste at all. We had lamb Mandi and it is $25 there was a good amount of meat in the order but there is absolutely no taste. We also had chicken wrap, it was decent. Overall the experience is below par and would have liked if there were more flavours in the rice atleast. And also they took their sweet time to get the order out, just so you know you will have to wait for sometime if you are picking up.
Was willing to try a new restaurant and everything just kept going down hill: Service: Decent, got seated quickly and was provided good service. Big downside was we ordered something but it never came. On top of that they were about to charge me for something that was made for us but luckily the person caught it before I was charged. Furthermore, no one came throughout the time we got our food(which took about 15 minutes) to check on if we need anything or how's it going. Food: not willing to get from here again to make it simple. The portions were very small and overpriced. A sandwich that was done in to bits which was dry bread was 10 dollars. Every other restaurant I went to for the same sandwich would have left overs to take home and be cheaper. The biggest part was paying for water bottle. All I said was I wanted water which 99% of restaurants don't charge. If I know there was charge I would have brought my own! They are very stingy with the portions and food and would not come back again. My biggest tip is please fix the issues before advertising for you restaurant.
I was very exited to visit a new local Yemeni inspired restaurant. Unfortunately, the lack of portions, overpriced meal, uncomfortable chairs personally, extremely long wait time for the food ( 2⭐️ by the way)and finally very concerning health and cleanliness issues. Restrooms needed cleaning badly. We sat down across two tables that had the plates just sitting there!!! For a solid one hour before someone started to clean that tables specifically! Final tip, don’t ask for a water it’s not free it’s charged for a water bottle! We didn’t ask for water bottles either they could have used tap water 😂! Hoping things will change inshallah!
