I had lunch today at Cafe Leon and had the fajitas. The video does not do it justice. The caramelized unions gave it the most amazing flavor I've had in a long time. It's under new ownership, and they have made some small changes to the menu but have kept the essence. I'm so glad we stopped here for lunch. I will have to come back for more. It was quick and affordable.

I know a bit heavy on the stars but, please. Our service was excellent and our server, Maria, was very knowledgeable. The food was so good and the portions were filling. Fajitas served up on the hot platter sizzling hot. Literally. Beef Tacos and chicken tacos were delicious as well. The atmosphere is purely authentic "Mexican Eatery" Gotta try out this place if you're in the area. We were in the area We stopped in and enjoyed our meal. 5 Stars guys!!!

Our favorite place to eat Mexican breakfast!!!! Ordered Chile 🌶 Colorado n scrambled 🥚 eggs topped with 🧀 cheese, rice instead of potatoes and corn 🌽 tortillas. Hubby ordered the wet 🌯 shredded beef burrito. So yummy!!!

The employees are very friendly and welcome you with a hello and a warm smile. I had the carne asada and cheese omelet. It was delicious!!! I definitely recommend it!! Thank you Cafe Leon, we enjoyed our visit!!

I have been here a few times years ago for lunch and remember it being good. For breakfast, it depends on what you order. My son got the chiliquias and thought they were tasty and well seasoned. My carne asada omelette had eggs wrapped around some meat with some cheese on it. Absolutely boring. My omelette would get a two stars but my son thought his chiliquias was worth four stars. We both agreed the potatoes were nothing. They basically throw some potatoes into a fryer and plop them on the plate. The service though was great. The ambiance of the place is fine. Nothing crazy. It is a cafe after all. I may go back at some point for lunch, but I will not be going for breakfast.

Cafe Leon is clean and I was seated right away. It wasn't packed and it was lunchtime. The service was good but I was only given two napkins. My order came pretty quick, I ordered a Chile Colorado omelette they serve breakfast all day. The plate was around $13 but it was small portions for the price. The food was ok didn't really have much flavor. The omelette was kind of gummy. They gave me one tortilla that was small and the salsa was not to flavorful. I also ordered a Chile Colorado burrito to go and that was kind of small for the price and the Chile Colorado didn't have much flavor. The food is okay but not spectacular in my opinion.

This is one of the worst restaurants I've eaten at in Fresno, and I've eaten in dozens over the years. I ordered the Chili Verde and Chili Colorado combo plate. The verde sauce was thin, runny and had no flavor. The pork was overcooked, dry and difficult to chew. The chili Colorado sauce had the consistency of and tasted like beef gravy out of a jar. It was disgustingly awful. The beef was overcooked and hard as leather. I gave up trying to chew it. And they charge for chips and salsa. Tsk, tsk. The service was good though.

The prices are too high and the food is not any different from other places. I ordered seven tacos of carne asada, two horchatas, and a coke. The total was $57.88. There were no chips and salsa before our food was served.

$17.96 for a bowl of Menudo. Mostly homeny, little tripe, and tasted like straight lard. Flem on my lips that won't wash away. Condiments, super small pich of oregano, and super small pinch of chili flakes. Terrible tortillas, 2 lemon slices. Boo to the cook
