Chubby's Diner

I have been here twice. This is one of the best biscuits and gravy in town. There food is hot and staff are always nice. I am a breakfast kind of person and this place and two more other places I recommend as 5 star for breakfast in fresno.

First time coming here. Needed a quick bite and this place is amazing. First the staff is incredible and super efficient with how they manage everything all at once. Food was delicious and your coffee mug will never be empty. Thank you for the hospitality and delicious food.

I swung by Chubby’s Diner in Fresno the other morning and had a pretty awesome time. I went for their eggs with sausage and bacon, plus home potatoes, and let me tell you, it did the trick. The eggs were cooked just how I like them—fluffy and not overdone. The sausage and bacon were nice and crispy, adding that perfect savory kick. The home potatoes were spot on too, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, exactly what you want for a hearty breakfast. What really made my visit great was the service. The staff were super friendly and on the ball. I was digging into my meal when the coffee kept coming non-stop, which was a nice touch. It’s like they knew I needed that extra boost to start my day right. No annoying pauses or long waits for refills, just steady cups of coffee to keep me going. The vibe at Chubby’s is classic diner cool. It’s got that retro feel with comfy booths and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal without any rush. Plus, everything was clean and well-kept, which always adds to the overall experience. Loved every bite and the whole setup. If you’re in Fresno and need a solid breakfast spot with tasty food and awesome service, Chubby’s Diner is where you want to be. I’m definitely heading back for another round of their delicious breakfast and endless coffee!

This was our second “USA diner” experience, and it blew the other place out the water. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, their ranch dip was outstanding, and the food was perfectly cooked. Carne asada sandwich was so juicy! Perhaps the best chips (big chunky French fries) I’ve ever had. When I threw the tip jar off the counter by mistake and then sent a wet floor sign flying, our server was very kind and gracious. Loved it.

Awesome spot! Never been to one but I guess there's several of them around. Menu was way bigger than you'd expect, especially the burger menu, it was amazing! I got the guacamole burger but asked for sliced avocado instead and medium cooked but they wouldn't let you do medium rare. Burger and fries were amazing with really good prices, beats the heck out of fast food burgers like Carl's Jr and is actually way cheaper. Check out the pictures! Was about 42$ for me and a coworker both getting burgers, coffee, and he got a milkshake. Great place 👌😎

Nostalgia all the way! There are only a few Chubby's left in Fresno. Enjoyed our authentic no frills diner breakfast and 50's/60's atmosphere. You can tell there are lots of regulars that come here. Food was tasty. Spanish scramble was spicy but good.

Can't go wrong not matter what time of the day you go! Everything on the menu is great! EVERYTHING and it is so much food! You get the most bang for your buck! If you order coffee they walk around the place every 5-10 minutes going to every table asking if anyone would like a refill that has coffee. Great service, good food, amazing price.

May 10, 2023 My boyfriend & I decided to stop here for lunch. I had ordered the Turkey melt & fries (didn't finish eating so took the rest home). It was so delish. Liked the service we received & the atmosphere was chill just like sitting in a 50's diner). Would definitely come back here to grab a bite to eat.

After taking my dad to his Dr appointment he wanted to eat and he told me about chubbys. So went there for breakfast. Good and plenty of food. Great friendly service. Will definitely go again

We have been customers for several years, and always have Fabulous service and Whatever we have ordered, we can honestly say; it has been prepared to our liking and service is truly amazing.

The food was comforting and hit the spot, and the atmosphere felt just like a classic diner should. waitress was especially nice very friendly, attentive. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving a good diner meal

I got a custom made burger. It was delicious. Definitely would go back for another one. I took off a star because the fries were still hard, seemed like were not cooked enough. The fried mushrooms were also not that great either, full of oil and mushrooms themselves luke warm in the middle.

1 star only cause i have to! but they are way overpriced. nothing like the gettysburg location. my son got chicken tenders and they were the smallest tenders i ever seen and only got like 7 fries with it (not even exaggerating). asked for a cup to go and they said we would be charged, my cup i payed for was still full? why am i paying to take a soda i already payed for!
