Tellawi Lounge

This is becoming an upscale neighborhood bar/lounge. The wait staff is extremely friendly. The drinks are good. The food is great but I wish that there were more items on the menu. Everything about this is a first class experience. Good job, Sam!

A gem in NW Fresno offering our neighborhood a fantastic combo of friendly service, tasty food, great drinks and an upscale atmosphere. And it aids in filling the long time void in our area of very few establishments. Congrats to the Tellawi family for doing it and doing it right!!

The best place for drinks with friends, business anything. Food is amazing. Drinks are awesome and the staff are just wonderful!!!

The chilean sea bass is a must try. We were a late seating, so forgive the no check back. I had the lamb shank. The price was within reason, the circular dining room was impressive. I didn't recognize the name, but the picture of the bar made sense, this is billed as The Palms. It's a squeak out of the way, but well worth the stop. For a class dinner I would return in a heartbeat. I wish I would have taken a picture, the plates were sheer artwork. You won't be disappointed.

Great food, fun atmosphere. Went here with 16 people (called a week ahead) and everyone got the right orders and the wait was not bad. The staff was friendly, attentive, and handled the separate checks without any problem.

I had a good time with my family at the banquet hall. We were all there for a wedding reception. The servers were great, the food was good, albeit a bit more salt than I'd like, the bread they served was delicious and I ate too much of it. They even cut the cake up for us, so none of us non professionals mucked it up. The door separating the bar from the banquet hall is just a sliding door I believe and that allows quite a bit of sound to travel back and forth. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here.

While it attempts to create a loungy atmosphere with lighting, it is still just a bar. Drinks, even on Happy hour are rather pricey, but quite delicious nevertheless. For a cocktail, Happy hour takes of only $1. On a Wednesday night, the bar had a few patrons, mostly older male folks, chatting by the bar. There are tables with bar-height chairs around the perimeter of the bar. Because of the small size of the place, everything feels close together. On a busy night, this place could get packed easily and quickly. They have a karaoke night on Sundays. Overall, I would not be back just because of the price of drinks, especially for Fresno. My cocktail with tax on Happy hour was $12.

Brussel sprouts claim to be roasted, they were not, they were pan fried & mostly raw (we were told owner didn’t want to roast anymore because of waste??); zucchini was thickly batter dipped to hide thin slices; chicken skewers tasted ok, but reminded me of Costco frozen. I don’t see customers swarming unless ownership makes big changes.
