We’ve been looking for a new AYCE sushi place in Fresno ever since Sendai ended their AYCE offering and we were not disappointed! While expensive ($34.99 for dinner), Tsukiji offers so much variety that a hungry customer could potentially find value here. The serving sizes are small, which actually worked out well since it allowed us to order a variety of rolls and dishes without worrying too much about finishing each order. The service was relatively quick, although I could sense it slowing down as it got busier later in the meal. Our server was extremely attentive and polite, and kept our drinks refilled regularly. My only complaint about the food is the lack of variety for their dessert, which is just a cup of ice cream. However by the time you’re ready for dessert, that’s probably all you’d want to eat anyway! Highly recommend Tsukiji if you love sushi, are ready to eat a lot, and willing to pay the hefty price!
I don’t usually write reviews, but Tsukiji Japanese Cuisine deserves one thanks to our server, Tysheen. He was exceptionally friendly, attentive, efficient, and a true team player—his positivity really made the evening. The food was solid overall: the ramen broth was rich and flavorful, the beef short ribs tender, and the shrimp tempura perfectly crisp. The sushi rolls were just okay, but everything else made up for it. Between the good food and Tysheen’s outstanding service, we had a very enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend this place and come back again😃
This place has amazing all you can eat (AYCE) sushi being landlocked in Fresno. Even though at the time we went, it was considered a soft opening this place was packed. Went on a Saturday as soon as it opened for dinner at 430. Took an hour to get there coming from Visalia, but this place did not disappoint the drive to get there. Sushi was fresh and delicious the sashimi was excellent as a side note you need to tell the server how many slices you want. Got the eel fried rice and it came on a small plate, so if you want enough for the entire table, definitely order per person. If you're into eel, that friend rice is amazing. I don't recommend the sushi pizza was worth a try but not something the table was not into. The rolls had plenty of pieces to share with the table. The chicken wings and tempura shrimp and vegetables were excellent. If you don't have sushi eaters in your group, definitely have beef and chicken options for those people. The steak we ordered was small cut-up pieces but very tasty, so once again, order that person. The short ribs were damn tasty reminded me of something from a Korean BBQ place, so I highly recommend ordering those. Ordered hot tea, and each cup had an individual tea bag, and we were given a cup of hot water to refill them. The dessert was ice cups that reminded me of my childhood with a wooden spoon and all. The flavors came in chocolate vanilla strawberry and rainbow sherbet. The strawberry was very creamy and delicious. The rainbow sherbet was creamy as well without being overly tart. Awesome about this was that the ice cream was also part of the AYCE, so you could get as many cups as you wanted. There is a 15 dollar charge for excessive leftover food since they don't do boxes for leftovers, so make sure not to over order, we didn't have that issue. One thing I did notice is that they didn't have any orders to go or online orders it was strictly AYCE so just be aware of that and enjoy the food while you're there cause you can't take it with you. The music playing was 2000s hip hop and RnB and had a few big screens on.
Food is good. Hibachi is one of a kind for an AYCE. Sushi could be better but not bad. Fish is good quality. Tempura are always on point. Stirfry Udon noodles are a must. I'm sure there are good days and bad days for this place but overall, a great option. I'd skip the weekends though. Too packed and wait times can vary depending on party size. The system works. You order some to eat. You have to wait for the next order and you anticipate it. When you get the next order, you are starting to feel full. By the time you hit your 3rd or 4th round, you're stuffed. Great strategy on the business side. Minimal food waste. Price isn't the best but you gotta be able to maintain staff if you want to serve more people. It's a high stress place and I give props to the cooks, servers, food runners, bussers and front desk staff. Most people who give one star reviews have never even been in a kitchen to understand the chaos behind running the wheel and exposition. This places knocks it out of the park! Good Job, Tsukiji. Thanks for providing Fresno with an AYCE sushi and hibachi spot.
So, it was our first time eating here. They do have an online wait list, and it made seating super fast. I suggest that as it was busy when we got there around noon on a Monday. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress kept sodas full, and some orders took longer than others. Sushi rolls seemed to take longer since more people ordered that. Miso soups were delicious. Everything was delicious and filling but plain. Except for eel fried rice. That was so good.... While you do get your money's worth. The rolls are basic with bare sauce. The cooked stuff such as shrimp was fresh and delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ate. I went with dynamite roll and the other roll that used tempura shrimp. Rice was a little dry but easily remedied with soy or tempura sauce. Japanese pizza was a filler. Will for sure be back to try other dishes. Ice cream at end was a great finisher. They had chocolate, vanilla, and sherbert.
It's an all you can eat Japanese place. Portions are relatively small and not really shareable with a few exceptions. Like the Cheese Wonton order is shareable. Having said that, service is quick (once seated) and the food is delicious. I just wouldn't recommend the "Tamaki" it's described as an ice cream shaped sushi....and whole that extremely accurate here's a picture to show it exactly lol. It's just not as good as everything else.
Since it just opened, it would need some time to work things out. Atmosphere: Beautifully done. Having plenty of booths, some TVs around (not on when we arrived, maybe when more people arrive), and decent space makes for a comfortable dining area. Love the ceiling floral decorations. Getting there on Tuesday at around 11am, seating for two was quick. Our server explained how the menu worked and worked their best to accommodate us as quick as possible. There was no ice for the drinks at first, but as soon as it was ready, they were quick to bring cold drinks out. There should be an efficient way to allow servers to know when customers are ready for another round of food or drinks, however. Having few servers to serve many people at once looks tiring for them. Maybe a flag or coin for tables with less than 5 members to show their ready? Food wise for lunch, it was decent. Mostly fried foods and appetizers came out quick, along with one piece sushi rolls. (Cheese wontons were DELICIOUS) A single roll could take quite a bit of time however, and being allowed approximately 5 sushi pieces per person each round made it very time consuming (which took affect on some of your servers as well). An explanation of how the sushi can be ordered should be at the front of the menu to save people time. Overall, it didn't really feel like an "all-you-can-eat". Honestly it probably would be better off as a buffet serving Japanese food and charging for waste left on plates. The time it takes for another round of food to be made or seeing your server again takes a while, which would make you full fasterand not getting your money's worth. Edit: Updated to 5* after going during dinner time on Friday. While there was a wait, everything was all in order. Food came out fast, service was quick and friendly.
Delicious fresh sushi! Such an incredible place. The price was very reasonable compared to other places. The sushi kept on coming. I tried to take pictures of as much as I could but kept forgetting because it was do good! Our waiter was the best. Ask for Jarred if you go! I can't wait to be back again. You also get a discount if its your birthday. Sometimes the lines are out the door. You get ice am included and can take it home. The only thing I wish is if customers took better care of the restaurant. Its in such a nice place but customers tag on the bathroom walls and leave a mess after they eat. Its not fair to the restaurant employees who are doing amazing
Fun place to go. It's not cheap, but worth it my opinion. Great Sashimi, Sushi, teppenyaki, and hibachi. They bring it to you in little plates and you can just keep ordering and ordering. Our waitress was awesome, offering us great suggestions. The food came out quickly and it was great. Some of our favorites were the sirloin Teppanyaki, the asparagus, and any of there's. We heard that there were huge lines, but we went there on Wednesday night and walked right in. I will definitely come back.
This all you can eat restaurant was delicious. Food was in small portions allowing you to try many items. Staff were attentive and friendly. I loved the hibachi shrimp. Lunch is cheaper and still a great menu.
This is a great AYCE place. Beautifully decorated and relaxing. Food was delicious! Portions are small due to you being able to order more once finished. Hibachi Steak and Steak Fried Rice was great! Hudon Beef Noodles were good. DIL loved the Sushi 🍣 Our server was very attentive and nice. Definitely recommend!
Food An absolute delight. I started with the BBQ eel fried rice and it was out of this world. Smoky. Delicious. You can taste the wok in a good way. If you know, you know. The sushi is great and not only that but it's cut right. Sushi cut wrong will be tougher and firmer, much like cutting a steak wrong. Another highlight is the Hibachi shrimp and Hibachi steak. I had expected a cheaper cut of steak since it's AYCE but it was actually buttery- I suspect mixed cuts but there was ribeye in there. As I'm writing this review I ordered more of that eel rice for last call at 2:10. If you're picky about soy sauce this place has the good stuff as well and their hot tea is genmaicha. Service It's as good as it can get. This place is a hotspot and there was a line out the door the whole time I was there for a bit over an hour. The food keeps rolling out, but sometimes slows down. All in all I have no complaints and my waitress was great. I feel kind of bad for her for being stretched so thin but she did a great job. Atmosphere Pictures speak for themselves. It's pretty, relaxed and a place I'd suggest more for a date than a quick bite. This is a place to take your time and enjoy yourself. I doubt I'll be going to other AYCE's when this one is this good.
My husband and I enjoyed lunch here. It was $21.99 a person which we felt was a great price. They charge extra for soft drinks. The decor was nice and they have kpop music playing which I enjoyed. The waitress was attentive. You can order as much as you like and they bring the food to you. They only limit the amount of sushi rolls at a time to 2. The food was really good and flavorful. The food also comes out fairly quickly. We will definitely be back!
Recently visited and it was a great experience from start to finish. The all-you-can-eat sushi menu offered a wide variety of options. Each piece of sushi was expertly crafted. The pricing was more than reasonable (23.74 out the door at the time of writing) considering the entire menu is all you can eat and the high standard of sushi. The ambiance was okay, nothing special. Our waiter was on it, before we were even close to finishing she was ready to take our next orders, very seamless. Overall, I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover looking for great quality at a great price.
Perfect place for all-you-can-eat. I like it because it's not a buffet where food may sit for a while. They serve what we order. When we finish, we can place our next order. All of the sushi rolls are bite-size. My son-in-law ordered a plate of udon, and it was served on a small plate. The udon was okay. Our lunch includes a cup of ice cream: chocolate, vanilla, rainbow, or strawberry. It's a nice touch, even though the ice cream tastes okay. Our server is awesome. Since this was our first visit, he explained everything really well. He was absolutely friendly and kept checking if we needed anything. Overall, it was a great value.
I’ll tell you what, I got my 35$ worth of food. This is also first time i experienced my food coming faster than my drinks, in a good way because, not 2 mins after order was placed, food started rolling in. The high cost items like the sashimi is the way to good to get the moneys worth and it’s not too bad, 7/10 freshness. All the other foods are perfectly good to eat and fill up on. Shout out to our waitress Bridget or Bridgette for being super friendly and I think my step son got a little crush on. All in all will come again
It’s AYCE. The good thing is you order the dish and depending on the dish they limit the quantity you may order each round. This is a great concept since it’s both sanitary and prevent waste you can be charged 15% for waste aka if you have a lot of left overs) Drinks not included. Big shoutout to Wendy our wait staff who did a phenomenal job of taking all the orders, patient and genuine customer service. The food is good. We particularly were impressed with the Hamachi and the shrimp tempura. Steak hibachi is also decent. We always go for the spider rolls so it’s a hit. Unagi is also always our favorite. We will definitely come back.

I have to say this is one of my favorite places right now in Fresno.. With that, I was reluctant to say so only because I’m afraid of it becoming so popular it’ll be hard for me to get in. I love the atmosphere so comfortable soon as I open the door I knew I liked it. I love the seating because I love a booth. Our our server was exceptional and a sweet, sweet girl. Politeness and a good attitude go pretty far with me thank you so much. I could’ve probably had bad food and still enjoyed myself lol But it didn’t stop there. The food was fantastic sushi fresh delicious they have hand rolls. The hibachi shrimp is the bomb and the wontons appetizer fricking Yum but let’s not forget those big honking tempera shrimp. They have everything I didn’t even get a try at all! I can’t wait to go again. It made it a special time as my sister was visiting here from out of town and it was the three of us siblings getting together, which is a special occasion because it doesn’t happen soon enough. So it’s very memorable We all had sake good service good food thank you so much! And let’s not forget the ice cream that we gotta take with us! I wish you’d open up in the Tower District! Why don’t you grab that spot right next to the Tower theater it needs you!! I love the way it’s decorated💗

Thanks for providing Fresno with an AYCE sushi and hibachi spot.
Food came in small portions, which is suitable for all-you-can-eat, so you have the opportunity to try lots of options. All the tempura items had too much breading, with the outsides overcooked and the insides undercooked. Floors and walls could be cleaner. Overall, the sashimi and sushi are good (not great). I would come back for the raw fish items again.
The price was very reasonable. The sushi was yummy! I like the little smaller portions of food because you can try different things. The service from the food runners was not great. They just yelled at us the food or when we asked them what it was, they showed us a ticket. They need work on their service. The waitress was very nice and helped with food allergies.
My wife & I went on a lunch date at Tsukiji JC and also our first time eating at this restaurant. Arrived at 11-10am were seated immediately and our host explained the service and menu. Great to know that the food were made to order with small sized portions to allow the customer to enjoy and not waste any food. You can order as much as you want (per allowed) but know that there is 15% charge on food that is not consumed/wasted. Food review: -shrimp tempura, edemame, seaweed salad, sweet potato & zucchini tempura was on point! I like the warm tempura sauce. -calamari or squid tempera was a bit overcooked and chewy -ramen- the noodles were a bit too soft and soggy -steak hibachi needed bit more seasoning (I asked for teriyaki sauce on side for better flavor) -spicy salmon hand roll was pretty good -rainbow roll was average -spicy tuna roll was good I would still give this restaurant a 4-5 star for the quality of food & service. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Can’t wait to try dinner menu! Very minor menu improvements and this place is 5 star all the way!
Was it worth it??? Yes, yes, yes!!!!!! Quality and quantity!!!!!! Every dish was great and worth it!!!! Sushi rolls were okay, not the best, but still good and decent for AYCE, not a lot of rice, perfect for the palate. Will I come back!!! Yes!!! Best sashimi AYCE in the valley anywhere. Must get the short ribs, chicken wings, salmon/yellow tuna/butter fish sashimi. We did not wait long for the food to be served. Amazing and fast services!!
There are plenty of staff and servers. Great customer service and quick with the orders. Nice casual atmosphere. Not exactly like most AYCE sushi restaurants. Classic single small dish display style for Japanese dishes. A little lacking in diversity and style when it comes to the sushi. Kinda wondering where the beer, saki, and tea selections are... They need to step up their design and style if they want to keep this prime location.
I dined here about a week ago with some friends. The lunch is from 1100-230. They close for a few hours and reopen around 430 pm for dinner. Lunch was 21.99 + tax and dinner was 34.99 + tax. Overall, the sushi rolls were good for the price. They had a variety of things that were included with lunch. They had appetizers such as seaweed salad and edamame, signature sushi rolls, tempura, nigiri, ramen, and a few other things. There is a 15% charge if there is excessive food left over. We asked what was considered excessive, but they really didn’t have an answer for us. We weren’t going to leave anything behind, so we weren’t very concerned about that. The service was great. I forget who our waiter was, but he did an excellent job. Before we finished what was on our table, he was already taking our order for the next round. Our drinks were never empty. At the end we had ice cream and they let us take them to go, since they came in the individual containers. They had vanilla, chocolate and sherbet. I think there were other flavors, but I don’t remember what they were. Was this the best sushi place that I’ve ever been to? No, but for the price it satisfied my want for sushi. Go ahead and give this place a try!
Food was ok for an all u can eat restaurant. Portions are small to avoid food waste. Great thing is all the food dishes we ate were not overly salty. Therefore, we could taste the true flavor of each dish. Unfortunately, food took too long to arrive especially their sushi. 15-20min wait is too long for 4 slices of sushi.
As an AYCE Japanese Restaurant, my focus is on the entrees and less about desert. Sushi is alright and since it's buffet I don't expect anything fancy, not the best but it's good. Sashimi is limited to 5 per order per person, it does make sense as it avoids food wastage and keeps the cost reasonable for both the restaurant and customers. Hibachi... other than the short rib... ehh so so. Needs an overhaul Teppanyaki is alright, could use some eggs on the rice though... The ramen/udon- ouch don't order The teriyaki's are good- could use some more teriyaki sauce on them, Salmon, Chicken and Beef. The bbq eel with plain rice- not proportionate it has more rice and 2 thin slices of eel. Good and could use maybe 4 more slices or make it less rice. The Tempura 🍤 is the💣,this is where they excel, definitely order 10 shrimp Tempura right away and Veggie tempura💯 Fast service, Clinton is very attentive, made sure I have hot tea all the time. Price it kinda make sense because you are being served, they serve it on your table. 👉Date night, first date, yep this is a good place. Clean, and the ambiance is good 👍 Service is good, polite and courteous staff Hopefully, they can improve those entrees mentioned above. -Why on earth are you still reading- go ahead and try them out, and be ready to get you tummy full.
Had lunch there it's an all you can eat restaurant for only $22 per person I don't know about dinners price. But it was great food was delicious. You can order teppanyaki, hibachi, sushi, soups and salads plus appetizers all in the same sit in. Going back and to try the dinner menu you get more choices. I added photos of the dinner menu. That's all the meals you can pick to eat for dinner
The waiter told us they opened Monday 4/15. it’s still relatively new so give them time to work things out. I’ve visited other locations and it was pretty good so I’m hopeful for this location. The waiter was nice but the kitchen was quite backed up so the food didn’t come as quick. Fish was good and fresh. Would try again in 2-3 months. My favorite is the sexy roll and snow mtn and obviously the sashimi.
I recommend getting on the waitlist 45min to an hour before arrival so you don't have to wait too much for a table. Dish options are all great, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Took off one star because we were walked to our table closest to the back wall and the floor was so slippery with grease. My husband slipped and almost fell. We will return but will avoid being walked through that area, be careful!
I loved the all you can eat lunch. It let me sample new foods and enjoy steadfast favorites with my family. On the downside, it was crowded and loud, plus our waitress seemed like she was having a bad day.
This restaurant has a unique set-up. They charge a flat fee for every person in your party (I won't quote the price in case it changes, call to find out the price). The entire menu is available to order from, as much as you can eat. There is a fee for wasted food or "I want to take home food for tomorrow's lunch" food. It seemed that everything was made for the order. We enjoyed a great abundance of food and will definitely be going back. TIP: Join the wait list through Google maps to avoid wait time, there were a lot of people there right when they opened.
All you can eat! I didn't expect more than average due to the "all you can eat" but it was rather good. Sushi, sashimi, sushi 🍣 rolls. Tempura, tepanyaki and hibachi. AND the serve you at your table no walking around a buffet!
Heard mix review of this place. I wanted to come when it just opened but I figured I'll wait until it calms down to experience. Came here for dinner and wasn't busy so got seated right away. Was able to place our order and the shrimp tempura came out quick. Fresh and hot and was delicious. The udon soup came out. The wifey ordered the seafood and had no complaint. I ordered the beef and it was kinda bland. The sushi roll was a nice portion. Not too big and not too small. My complaint is on the spider roll. Wish it didn't have the lettuce cause it made everything loose inside of it. I like my sushi tightly rolled. The establishment was clean and until a waiter drop a couple glasses of water on this lady Our waitress was attentive when it wasn't so busy but after the restaurant started filling up, she didn't check up on us as often. Overall I would come here again.
Good place for lunch and you will become a winner of this free for all if you stick to just the nigiri and the rolls. Don’t waste your time on the appetizers like the edamame. The pizza nigiri was a no bueno (not good) it was just a ball of rice that was fried in oil. There was little to no meat/protein in it at all. I’m not even sure what was supposed to be in it to begin with, but stick to the escolar, salmon, spicy salmon, shrimp, unagi, and the crab (imitation crab). The appetizers were fillers. You’ll get the tempura shrimp or vegetables and it will be breaded to twice the size of the shrimp or vegetables. I mean if you’d like that then get it. But you’ll be filling your stomach up. I believe the best deal is the lunch and the best time to visit is before 1:00 pm any later you’ll be rushed to get in your order before 2:15 pm which is the cutoff time for ordering more off the menu. Lunch ends at 2:30 then opens back up for dinner. Service was good though I had to stay on them until we got our wassabi and ginger. I would recommend if you have a fixing for a lot of sushi for a good price. For birthdays this place is good. We like this place because we love more bang for our buck.
All you can eat! I didn't expect more than average due to the "all you can eat" but it was rather good. Sushi, sashimi, sushi 🍣 rolls. Tempura, tepanyaki and hibachi. AND the serve you at your table no walking around a buffet!
I loved the all you can eat lunch. It let me sample new foods and enjoy steadfast favorites with my family. On the downside, it was crowded and loud, plus our waitress seemed like she was having a bad day.
Tried a little bit of everything except the sushi as I do not eat sushi. So this review for all of us who don’t eat seafood! My sister everything that had to do with shrimp and she said it all tasted good. I tried almost everything and the best part was the hibachi chicken. The udon noodles were a little bland for my liking and the veggie options weren’t all that great compared to other places like this. They also offer ice cream with the meal so that was a good plus. The food was good for sure but this isn’t a place I’d go out of my to visit. The service was great, it’s a little bit of wait time so order all that you can but that’s normal at places like this. Definitely recommend if you haven’t been there. We also went during lunch which was a decent price for everything. They also offer military discount for all my fellow veterans
Food was not bad, but not great either. My expectations were low because it was an all you can eat sushi, but I can't say I was satisfied with my sushi experience. The yellowtail and salmon sashimi was good. The rolls were mostly mad with some kind of premixed past of imitation crab. The rice was okay, but I'm not trying to fill up on rice. I get better sushi from Sam's club. Quality was lacking in this restaurant. We did have a good experience, I just wish the sushi was better.
I recently ventured into a restaurant offering an all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi experience, brimming with promise. However, the reality proved disappointing. Despite the allure of unlimited sushi, the quality was lackluster, with scant pieces dominated by rice rather than fresh fish, and a limited variety left much to be desired. On the other hand, the hibachi offerings stood out with flavorful meats, seafood, and vegetables expertly grilled to perfection, providing a welcome alternative. Yet, the buffet-style resemblance was undeniable, emphasizing quantity over quality, leaving diners longing for authenticity. While the ambiance was pleasant and the service attentive, it couldn't compensate for the culinary shortcomings. In sum, while the concept had its highlights, the overall experience fell short, catering more to those seeking quantity rather than quality.
We visited this establishment to celebrate a birthday, and initially, everything was satisfactory. However, upon being seated shortly after 2:00, we were informed that the kitchen would be closing in 45 minutes, at 3:00, and would reopen at 4:30. Consequently, we decided to place our orders and take our time eating. Unfortunately, just as we were nearing the end of our meal, the manager approached us and stated that there was a time limit for our stay. Essentially, we were asked to leave before finishing our paid meal, without the option to take our unfinished food to go. Notably, we were initially told that we could order at 4:30, which proved inaccurate. Therefore, I strongly advise patrons to arrive either well before 2:00 or after 4:00 to avoid being rushed and potentially not finishing their meal. Personally, I had only ordered a salad, anticipating the opportunity to order additional items at 4:30. My family members had ordered a substantial amount of food initially but were unable to finish due to being asked to leave. I find this experience unjust and wanted to inform others to avoid similar disappointment. My family, including my children, were unable to complete their meals as a result. I paid $34 for a salad that is smaller than my palm. It's like a little cup. When I say salad I just mean lettuce they have no toppings or anything else in it.
Food was not good....mediocre is putting it nicely. Tasted old, greasy, and bland. $35 for unlimited food, which is not bad if it was good quality. Sushi was not good. Service was okay, no complaints. And they charge for food you don't eat so be careful. Definitely would not recommend or come back.

The sushi ain't that good and not even worth the ayce. The quality of the fish ain't really bad but all of the sushi menu items do not taste good. It's not disgusting but it's not good. The shrimp tempura is mostly breading. The hibachi chicken was kinda dry. The hibachi steak was alright but kind of bland. The chicken fried rice was good. I wouldn't recommend this place. I won't come back again.
So I thank God I only went during lunch which was $23. Food is mediocre at best, not worth it in my opinion. The scallops are not real scallops, they taste like fake crab white meat, after taking off breading you can clearly see it’s not scallops. I would say if you must try it, try it for lunch so not paying $35 for dinner price. Will not return.
This is one of the worst restaurants i have tried in months without exaggeration. The food to start all tasted old and extremely greasy. The chicken came oddly slimy like a booger and was most likely spoiled me and my friends all got immediate stomach aches after eating here. The sushi wasn't good..the gyoza were greasy and tasted old. The tables were dirty where we were seated and the restroom is extremely dirty...please do not come here.
Remember you get what you pay for.... & even at a $77 charge for 2 Guests I feel cheated.🤔🤔 I can't believe it took 45 minutes to get a table here... This restaurant is the epitome of quantity over quality... You will get a lot as much as you want of mediocre overcooked under seasoned disgraceful Japanese food. Let's start off first with imitation Crab. For those who don't know what imitation crab is it is exactly how it sounds it is painted white fish injected with crab flavors that are really artificial. Any real seafood lover with no The difference between an imitation crab and real delicious crab meat. I am a high protein diet person so I ordered short ribs steak chicken and shrimp. We also ordered the udon noodles which had good flavor to them but we're very overcooked what makes Udon so unique is when it's perfectly cooked al dente it has one of the greatest textures at any noodle can ever have but went overcooked it literally turns to mush in your mouth. The steak was very very bland and somewhat chewy. The shrimp were very overcooked and flavorless The Chicken was the worst absolutely no seasoning whatsoever and dry. The short rib was the best though very chewy it had some kind of a sauce on it that gave it a little bit of umami flavor. When my wife and I ordered the Maki Roll We asked our server if there was any imitation crab in it and she told us no however the rolls that came to our table we're all filled with invitation crab. So they will not make any substitutions that the customer wants. Our server had the audacity to tell us we had to eat one of those rolls or we were going to be charged 15% Even though the issue was on the kitchens side for not removing the imitation crab. Long story short we will not be going back and I highly advise anybody who wants a real Japanese experience to go somewhere else...
My 4th visit and absolutely horrible! My waitress bad attitude, another server brought our food and when I said it was the other person's they just slid it across the table and mind you it was soup. The fastest thing we received was our check!!! Been wanting sushi for weeks and finally went and well was not worth one freaking penny of what we paid!!
