La experiencia fue muy satisfactoria, el menú del día es bastante generoso (incluye entrante, 2 pequeños cuencos a elección de distintos platos, arroz o pan y postre) y la verdad estaba todo muy fresco y de muy buen sabor. La cantidad fue generosa y el ambiente es bastante tranquilo. Muy recomendado.

the food here is sooo yummy, i got the chicken korma and would highly recommend. the chicken was so tender and the sauce was sweet and creamy. it was super busy but the food still came out quick. the ambiance would’ve been a bit better if the fluorescent lights were off (a bit harsh) and there were just warm lights. but other than that, fantastic!

Ate here a few weeks ago. My first ever Indian food and the shrimp Biryani left me speechless. You have to be ok with a lot of herbs and spices to like it. Even picky eaters will still find something delicious here.

Excellent menú del día for €12.50 Gone up in price slightly since last year, but to be expected I suppose. 2 curries plus the house curry (small dishes) naan or rice and a dessert. The quality is very good indeed

We showed up without a booking during a pretty busy time (around 9–10pm), but the staff were super welcoming and managed to seat us right away. The service all night was spot on — friendly, relaxed, and really attentive without being over the top. The food was honestly amazing. Every dish had its own flavour and everything tasted really fresh — especially the naan which was so good. It was such a nice change after eating way too many tapas on our trip. The atmosphere was chill and the staff had a great sense of humour, which made the whole night even better. As a lovely little bonus, we were given two free shots of limoncello at the end — such a nice touch. If this place was near where I live, I’d be there all the time. Definitely recommend if you're after something different, tasty, and with great vibes. Thanks, Mum!

The meal was absolutely fantastic. The set menu is incredible, and we loved being able to share and try four different main courses between the two of us, which made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If I had to point out one thing, the indoor space could be improved a little, but honestly, don’t let that stop you because the food is simply amazing.

when we arrived (without a booking during quite a busy period of 9-10pm) we were greeted with enthusiasm and accommodation. they easily seated our party of 6 and the service for us all throughout the night was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant not only for the fantastic food but for the humorous staff and calming atmosphere. Additionally, at the end of my evening they graciously gifted us 6 free shots of limoncello. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and would recommend to others 🩷

Got to say that was one of the best Prawn Bhunas we have ever had. The sauce was so so good. Nothing to do with how hot all about the flavour. Garlic Chilli Chicken was also right up there. Again, great flavours, nice kick but comfortable. Great service, excellent staff. Beats all the ones in Leeds and Bradford. Controversial, I know 🙂

If you’re looking for an Indian restaurant when visiting Nerja, Mum is certainly the place to go. We have been here numerous times now every year we come and it never disappoints. We always order the Chicken Hundy which was recommended to us by the staff along with the spinach rice and it is exceptional every time. The assorted platter is also amazing. The nicest curry we have ever had. The staff are so lovely, the service is brilliant. We absolutely love it. Delicious.

Someone we know from Ireland recommend this place and they hit the nail on the head Wow! From when we sat down we could tell that the staff loved the food they were serving. The order was taken with a real interest in what we were choosing. A couple sat near us and they were not sure what they wanted. One of the servers talked them trough each dish and explained the flavour profiles. They food was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was perfect. If you are looking for a really genuine Indian meal in Nerja, trust me "mums the word" 6 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Twice they asked if we had any allergies, really good professional service.

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to! We had a 5 course menu each for €12.50 each. The price point is nothing compared to the opportunity to try multiple dishes. Everything was very tasty and the service was excellent !!!!! This Indian Restaurant was a highlight of our visit to Nerja, onnthe southern coast of Spain.

Very friendly service, great prices and delicious food. We had the menu of the day and it was more than enough! Starter, 2 mains plus the house curry, bread or rice and dessert for €11.95! I had the Chicken Madras and Chicken Korma and they both tasted great. The Madras had a little kick that let me know I was eating some great Indian. Next time I'm back in Nerja I'll definitely return!

Hemos estado almorzando y: - Lo mejor: comida hindú rica, opciones vegetarianas, lugar céntrico. - A mejorar: refrescos pequeños, trato del personal un poco seco, correctos pero poco agradables. Precio de los platos un poco elevados en comparación a otros restaurantes hindúes.

Español 🇪🇦 Fuimos a visitar el pueblo de Nerja en septiembre y tras dar una vuelta decidimos ir a comer, con el añadido de ser dos veganos en el grupo. El restaurante se encuentra cerca del centro de Nerja y, aunque no se puede acceder en coche, no hay mucho recorrido desde las afueras hasta allí. Dividido en terraza e interior el restaurante es amplio y los sillones cómodos. Nos situamos enseguida aunque tardaron bastante en atendernos. La comida riquísima, pedimos dos menús muy bien de precio en relación a la calidad de los platos y un par de platos de la carta; lentejas y pan roti. Además de que las raciones fueron completas y saciantes. Lo único que no nos gustó fueron los postres. En general fue una buena experiencia aunque con un trato y unos postres mejorables. English 🇬🇧 We went to visit the town of Nerja in September and after a walk around we decided to go for lunch, with the added bonus of being two vegans in the group. The restaurant is close to the center of Nerja and, although not accessible by car, there is not much of a drive from the outskirts to get there. Divided into terrace and interior the restaurant is spacious and the seating comfortable. We were seated immediately although it took a long time to serve us The food was delicious, we ordered two menus very well priced in relation to the quality of the dishes and a couple of dishes from the menu; lentils and pan roti. In addition, the portions were complete and satiating. The only thing we didn't like were the desserts. Overall it was a good experience although the service and desserts could be improved.

Fuimos a este restaurante por las valoraciones y la verdad es que acertaron. El menú de 12,50€ merece mucho la pena si quieres probar varias cosas, ya que las cantidades son generosas y la comida muy rica. Relación calidad-precio muy buena, mejor que en otros lugares de este tipo de comida que he podido ir. Por ponerle una pega, es que el servicio fue bastante lento, ya que creo que solo había un camarero… pero aún así volvería!

Antes de ir a la Cueva de Nerja, nos detuvimos a comer en Mum al ver el menú de 12.50€. Muy muy recomendable si eres un amante de la comida india y no te conformas solo con un sabor. El menú incluye un aperitivo, un entrante, tres currys, un acompañamiento y un postre. El poder ir variando de sabores es genial, y la comida estaba muy rica, aunque algo aceitosa en algunos currys. Sin duda, repetiría.

The menú del día is hard to beat. €12.50 for a huge amount of food: an appetizer, three curries, rice or naan, and a dessert. We tried the samosas and the onion bhaji as appetizers. Both are very generous portions (2 large samosas, 4 onion bhaji) and both were quite good. For the main, you choose two of the three curries. The two curries I ordered were alright: the shrimp madras, which was tasty, and the paneer tikka masala, which was far too sweet for my taste (but I like my Indian food savory and spicy, unlike the sweet version you often find in Spain). The 3rd curry (no choice) was a lentil soup which was mostly water and a large piece of zucchini. Nothing was spicy in the least, which was disappointing for me. By far the worst part was the “dessert”, which was just a bowl of semolina. It was flavorless and sat untouched. Unfortunately, the server brought it to the table without asking if we wanted it or telling us what it was. If we’d known it was going to be a bowl of semolina, we would’ve just passed on the dessert since we were both so full already from the appetizers and main course. Overall, it’s a cheap, decent place to eat a large quantity of food. But it’s far from the best Indian restaurant in the area.

I took the lunch menu for 12.50€ The vegetable samoussas were great! The paneer tika masala was very tasty but the 2 others (one spinach and the other potato) were average. The spiciness level was quite low, as it is in a tourist area, I guess some people can't handle more than this. The garlic naan was good. The dessert was average and nothing special about it. Disappointed by the coke as it is 237ml and not 33cl. So that's very expensive for such a small amount of soda. The service was ok, I've known better.

Muy bien ubicado. Pedimos un plato de pato, un tikka massala con arroz y de acompañamiento pan de ajo y queso. El pato bastante seco y con sabor a pincho moruno. Es un plato de 20€ y sinceramente creo que es muy excesivo para lo que aporta el plato en sí. El resto de platos bien. El personal amable.

I am sorry that this restaurant has changed so much. The first time, many years ago, it was beyond excellent. But, the last few times it has gotten worse and worse. We won't come back again. Very sad because it was one of our favorites but there are better places who take care of their usual guests.

La comida muy buena, hemos ido 2 adultos y 2 niños para cenar. Pedido 4 platos para compartir y 1 entrante. El jefe de cocina, en lugar de avisar que era demasiado, nos ha recomendado otro entrante más y acompañar todo con arroz. También insistió en servir pan pero dijimos que no las 3 veces. Los platos muy suaves, aunque pedimos un par de ellos picantes. Todo por 122€, no merece la pena para una cena, cuando dejas claro que es la primera vez que comes en ese sitio y quieres que te aconsejen

La comida es buena, pero no es de los mejores indianos en que he estado. Hay platos que dejan bastante que desear como el arroz con coco o la salsa que lo acompaña. Apenas los probamos. Lo de aconsejar el menú es básicamente intentar vender platos. Los camareros no priman por la simpatia. Da la impresión que tratan mejor los extranjeros, porque con nosotros hablaba de forma monosilábica y me di cuenta que era porque no controlaba el idioma. Llegué al punto de tener que hablar en inglés porque el camarero no me entendía en español y no se sabía expresar. Había reservado por una aplicación y hice un pedido para poner velas en el postre porque era un cumpleaños... les dije el nombre de reserva y de la aplicación y ni escucharon, lo de la vela no le hicieron ni caso.

Ha sido la primera vez que hemos ido, los camareros muy serviciales y atentos, nos has aconsejado muy bien y lo agradezco, pero muy picante para nuestro gusto aunque me dijeron que no le iban a echar mucho pique y otra cosa a destacar es que cuando me trajeron el ticket me habían cobrado lo que supuestamente nos pusieron por cortesía de la casa🧐🧐, se lo reclamé al chico pero hizo caso omiso, bastante caro pongo fotos para que juzguen vosotros mismos!.No puedo recomendar!!!

This was classic case of review traps, I went there looking at reviews and turnout to be a disaster 1. Samsosa , chiken pakora , were extremely oily ( fried dishes do hv oil but it was ozzing oil ) 2. Food colouring : the red colour used in food was artificial 3. They offer 12 euro thali which is great value for money but there has to be some quality in it. 4 jeera rice had so much jeera which can be used to make 6 serving of jeera rice Overall not a how u represent indian restaurant abroad.
