Food was good, service was good, interesting place. Ordered the 5 piece Shark bites, Jambalaya pasta, and the fish tacos and it was all good. Absolutely would go there to try the rest of the menue. There were some other interesting options.

The food here is absolutely incredible!! Everything made fresh with the highest attention to detail. Our waitress couldn’t have been better. My wife has a particular intolerance for spice. The waitress and kitchen were more than accommodating for her needs. This place truly is next level with the food and service. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I will definitely be back when I am back in Galveston again.

Galveston Shark Shack has wonderful and tasty food, this is my 2nd time here and the Red Fish tacos are definitely the go to meal, service was also fantastic and the server was more than attentive. Looking forward to eating lunch here again in the future.

It's the best service I've ever had. They said there would be a 30-minute wait. Not ideal with 3 hungry little kids, but they came out after about a minute of waiting and let us go to a small table so we could eat some food! Everything we had was delicious, and the service was exceptional.

Located in The Strand. Friendly staff, delicious food! Nice atmosphere with inside and outside seating. We ordered shrimp quesadillas, shrimp platter with spot on sauces, shrimp nachos loaded with shrimp, and chicken alfredo with the best garlic bread.... all off the lunch menu. The portions were large. We will definitely come again!

Really good food. Was a little worried with how touristy the area was and the recommendation for this place coming from someone that handed me a list of places I know are a little more touristy and not something to brag about from previous experiences down on the island. But I was pleasantly surprised by how we all enjoyed the food as much as we did! The Shark Bites had potential but in our opinion the bbq sauce was all we tasted; the sauce to dip them in was delicious on fries so I can imagine without the bbq sauce that would have been super… when we come back probably will order this way. Had I known the truffle aioli was gonna be as good as it was I would have gotten a burger and added that like my wife did… instead I ordered the Big Kahuna hot dog… totally underestimated its size and had to throw in the towel. It was good but if I get it again I’d probably hold the relish, kinda the strongest flavor and can’t say I’ve ever done that on a chili dog. My fried green beans were delicious and I probably ate way more than I should have of those. The onion rings were pretty amazing. The breading was spot on and they weren’t super greasy. They were big slices but the onion didn’t all string out like they do sometimes in big slices so that was awesome. Our server was pretty attentive to us and I feel like she took great care of us but I will say some of the tables near us seemed to be waiting on the guy serving them. We have a family trip planned for next month and have already put this place on the list to go back with everyone!

This was our first time here, so based off of other Reviews we decided to try it out. It's a nice, kid friendly spot, with a lively atmosphere located in the historic Galveston Strand. When we arrived, we were seated pretty quickly. The server greeted us pretty quickly and was very attentive during our entire visit. We ordered a bowl of Gumbo as an appetizer and chicken tenders for my son, both came out in a timely manner. My son didn't want his fruit cup so we asked if we could get fries instead. Our Server made it happen within a few minutes! Our Seafood Platter and side if mashed potatoes arrived shortly after and looked great. It was a nice size portion, enough for me and the wife to split. Everything we ordered was good. The Gumbo in my our opinion though was a bit too salty. It had good flavor and was a good sized bowl, but definitely not what we're used to. That'd be the only "gripe" I'd have. This spot definitely lived up to it's Reviews. Would we go back? Yes, without a doubt! If you're ever in Galveston and craving seafood, then take a drive to The Strand and give The Shark Shack a visit, I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

The service at first was slow. We were seated quickly but saw no waiter for at least 5 minutes and then we were just acknowledged for being there. Once we ordered the food came pretty quickly. Three of us had the fish and chips which the waiter said was one of their most popular item on the menu. I was one of them and it was okay. Too much breading for my liking and I actually had to peel it away to get to the fish. Fries were crispy but overall we three agreed it wasn’t the best we’d had. On the other hand our friend had the fish tacos and she said it was really yummy.

We stopped by this bar to have a drink and a snack while we were walking around the Strand... The drinks were sub par and the queso dip we ordered wasn't good... It was barley warm and seemed like it came out of a can.... Not our favorite place.

The fondue dip was the Star of the show here. Fish and chips had an odd beer batter- with an odd spice selection… curry possibly? Coconut shrimp was absolutely fantastic. Service was great.. the shrimp popper appetizer were a bit soggy and undercooked and the barbecue sauce is out of place and cold on top.

The food was okay. The service was okay. The ambience was clubby and okay. This is not my first choice and also not my last. It was truly okay.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was my second to worst dining experience during my time here in Galveston. I ordered a Bob Marley and my partner asked to please make sure the aesthetics matched the taste because for me they are equally important. Well, I ended up with a yellow drink and a splash of grenadine at the bottom. I know how to make Bob Marleys and what I received was NOT it. I did not take a picture of it. I sent it back and ordered a raspberry martini…attached is a picture of it. I ordered the crab soup which was so so. My partner ordered the shrimp fondue. He found it to be salty and the bread to be slightly soggy. I was hoping for a better experience, unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me. I had much better quality drinks and food elsewhere on the island.
