Had the three course dinner for 2. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was great! My steak was cooked perfectly and my date’s risotto was one of the best. Great time and our servers were very attentive.

Really great experience at True Food Kitchen in Long Island. The food was fresh, flavorful, and high quality — and we love that it’s healthy without feeling like you’re sacrificing taste. Liz was our waitress and she did a great job. She was friendly, attentive, and made everything easy without being over the top. Service felt smooth and relaxed, which we appreciated. Overall, a really solid meal and experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I went in today to get lunch and I absolutely loved it! They have a good variety of vegan options on the menu and my wild mushroom pizza was delicious. The atmosphere was good and my server Nina made the experience even better. She was sweet and very accommodating and answered any questions I had. Definitely recommend this place

The food was great! A lot of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Being a non vegetarian, I tried the plant based cheese burger and tbh it wasn't bad at all, i prolly wouldn't try it again just cause I still prefer meat but I understand the appeal. If you are or ever planning on being a vegan, I think this is a fine choice to dine in.

Food was great but service was lacking. They were all nice but seemed like every employee was new and lacked experience. Went there twice and both times we were handed the wrong food from a different table and our waiter didn't check up on us at all. It also took forever for them to take our payment and we had to walk up front to find someone. Management needs some work but the food was good.

I went here with my brother and sister-in-law for dinner. The place has a somewhat fancy yet calm atmosphere. The food was pretty good, personally. I ordred the grilled salmon, while my brother got the all-american burger (originally wanted the turkey burger but they were out of stock) and my sister-in-law got the steak. I enjoyed the salmon, and my brother liked his burger, although the fries that came with the burger were soggy. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law said the steak was a bit tasteless and dry. But overall, the place was fine.

Did a pick up order because of the excellent gluten free options. Waited an extra long time for the pick up. When we asked about the food the staff pretended to not have the food, said it was picked up, but in fact did not make the food. When it came , they wouldn't even acknowledge that our order was ready. Took an extra 45 minutes to actually get an order of a burger and fries.

I’ve visited 2x in the past month or two. The food is consistently good! No complaints there. However, the service is SUPER SLOW even when it appears there is no more than 10 tables and about 4-5 main servers. The first time I came - it was a weekend and evening but it was not packed at all — and service was slow. And, I did not appreciate the server after taking forever to taking the order after we sat down (20 minutes or so!), then ordering and the food taking in my opinion— too long — then rarely coming over to check how we were doing and offering more beverages or other. When we did ask for napkins or condiments or extra utensils— goddess it took a good 10-15 minutes — the server writing in my check a suggested 20% tip! Then today — I visited again hoping not to get the same server. Yay, I thought to myself. Unfortunately the service was equally slow! I There must have been two tables on the side I was sitting at and maybe 3-4 on the other side. Again, the server took about 15 minutes to come over and take our order. Then, no condiments in the food plates, another 10 min for them to arrive (although they were part of the order), and then asking for hot sauce another 10-15 min, I was basically done with my food by the time it came. At least no suggested tip was hand written on the check! Ok — Not the severs fault, but geez Apple Pay took forever to do! Not sure if we Will return.

Have ordered from this restaurant several times, never got the order right once- always missing items. It's too bad the food is tasty- but service is completely unreliable.

Honestly we had high hopes for this place, we choose it because they cater to people with food allergies. However our experience said otherwise. Menu wise everything looked very healthy and fresh and organic. We went in 2/7/26, the place was absolutely freezing, everyone had their coats on and it was very uncomfortable. Service took a while. We ordered coffee, which the server came back and said they don't have and would need to make a new batch and asked if I wanted an americano instead and I said no, I wanted a coffee. Then we had 2 people order burgers with fries, which tasted great, but had to ask for ketchup. 2 people ordered salads and it didn't taste great. One salad was bland and not enough dressing, one salad the shrimp was hard and not fresh. Now we have someone that can only eat gluten free and dairy free, so he ordered the steak frites, specified everything plain, can't be cooked on surfaces that are contaminated due to severe allergies, so just steak and fries with no salad because they were unsure that was in the dressing. His food came and it was served with salad and it was touching the steak. I'm sure the waiter put it in correct but maybe the chef in the back didn't pay attention. We called the waiter over and he took the food back to the kitchen then came back quickly after. We were sure he just took the salad off the plate and reheated the steak in the pan again. Waiter confirmed that that's what happened. We believe this is unacceptable because of a cross contact issue and believed that the restaurant would remake it. The waiter told us that it's ok because it was reheated and that's where we couldn't take it anymore, said that he has allergies and could die, and that's when he took it back and they finally remade a new dish. There were no managers that came over or checked in on us, nothing on the bill compensated, it was just a bad experience, and we still left a 20% tip. We will not be returning.

This place is awful beyond belief. They never get the order right, half of the time the food is disgusting. This last trip will definitely be our last. We ordered brunch, the eggs were RAW unset egg whites, underneath was disgustingly greasy burnt vegetables. So they made a mistake big deal, went in to get a refund and they outright REFUSED! Even though the eggs were inedible, if the whites aren’t set there’s a risk of salmonella. The people here are beyond rude and incompetent, they outright ROBBED us. Thieves and liars, they don’t even know how to cook an egg. Complete fools, do NOT spend your money here. More than likely they will give you raw garbage and steal your money, telling you you’re crazy for not wanting to eat raw eggs and sloppy disgusting greasy burnt vegetables. All around horrible place, horrible people, and inedible sloppy food. Weird experience, never had one like this where I was served inedible food and told too bad. Won’t be back, I advise anyone else thinking of going here to find somewhere else. Zero stars if I could. I’m owed over $15 from these scammers. (You can clearly see from my photo the eggs are not cooked, the whites are runny and the grease is pooling up at the sides, inedible trash, what a waste of food, what a waste of time. Awful people.)

They used to be one of my go to restaurants for a quick bite but never again. Always new faces, so you know they aren’t taking care of their staff. They need to bring whoever was running this place back but WOW, what a disappointment . This restaurant is absolutely HORRIBLE. Slow service, food is not worth paying for and whoever is running this place needs to be retrained. I definitely should’ve read the reviews before dining in. It seems like they just comment just to save face but do absolutely nothing about it. I wasn’t greeted at the door, after what felt like 10 mins of waiting, I had to flag someone, anyone who was working to get a table. Server took 20 mins to come over, left - took another 10 mins to come back for our order and when the food arrived it was cold! I would avoid dining here if you’re looking for a nice dinner.

Had a special dinner planned with friends from out of town which turned into a memorable moment, unfortunately not for the best. Picked True Food Kitchen because on paper the menu looked very tasty and diverse for both our friends and our kids. We made a reservation for an early dinner on a Saturday and when we arrived, the dining room was pretty empty. We were hungry after a long day and got to ordering. We had some questions which our waiter was gracious to answer and point out some of the highlights of menu. But shortly after, it turned into a very long game of waiting. It seemed like even though we arrived early in the dinner rush, since we were a table of 8, we saw tables sat after us getting water and food before us. The most frustrating part was we waited patiently but it was about an hour before we finally got a full set of utensils (half of us didn't have silverware), cups of water (even after our 2 hour dinner, still not everyone got water they had asked for so everyone was dying of thirst), and our meals. We didn't order anything particularly crazy. Some drinks, kids meals and burgers. Some of the food tasted ok but some also were pretty bad. Jambalaya didn't have much taste, and the apple lemonades didn't taste much of apple at all. One burger was cold and got sent back to the trash. Thankfully they removed it from our bill. The ambiance overall was nice and thankfully it wasn't too loud so we were able to catch up and chat. Our waiter tried, but not even getting our waters and lacking silverware was not a great experience.
