Very neat a clean restaurant. Food is great . I came for fish cause it was recommended by my friend but unfortunately they didn’t have fish that time . So I was hungry and I said to the lady please I will take anything . I got chicken tikka masala. Man I never had such good taste for chicken tikka like that . I definitely coming back for fish masala soon.

The food was absolutely delicious. The Humus was so fresh and a perfect blend. I had the chicken Kabob and shawarma with their red spicy sauce. My friend had the chicken, steak and ground beef kabobs. He enjoyed everything but the ground beef kabob. Overall if you're into middle Eastern food, their fusion of blends is worth the stop. Oh I forgot to mention the tikka masalas sauce they gave me for the kabob was 🔥🔥🔥

Wanted some Mediterranean food while visiting CA. This food was delicious all meats grilled to perfection and not over powering with flavor. Highly recommend it.

I stopped by here during Dine Around Artesia . It was phenomenal. They had delicious lamb gyros and spicy falafel. They’ve got so many vegan options including delicious baba ganoush, and assorted chicken and red meat. Service is wonderful and they offered baklava for desert. I highly recommend this small business!

Not much to say about this place other than that it had great food, quick service, and a great overall experience. I think the food was pretty fairly priced as well. All of the people working there were very nice and overall this was a very good restaurant. Chicken kebabs were very good.

Really hit the spot! I got the Kabob combo (lamb, beef and chicken). Comes with hummus, rice, salad, pita, white and red sauces. Everything was excellent and I wouldn’t change a thing. Really good food, great service.

Since 2009, I have been going to Al Hamra and the quality has stayed consistently amazing. Every time I eat here, the food is so fresh and yummy. The owner along with the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meals I’d had in Al Hamra.

The food taste and presentation was so gratifying. I had the beef kabab combo, the meat was cooked to perfection tender and juicy. My husband had the kefta combo delicious traditional spices. We will definitely be going back. This is the best Lebanese food I have ever tasted in California. We have tried so many but none come close to this place. Love it!!!

Very good Mediterranean food. If you are around Redondo beach are, definitely try their food. We went on the weekend with our family. Was good experience. Beef was kind of raw inside I think it’s medium rare but I like well done. But was very soft and tender the chicken and kabob. Good service and free parking in the front..

**Food:** The chicken shawarma I ordered was somewhat disappointing, scoring just 3 out of 10 as it wasn't fresh and overall had poor quality. On the other hand, the combo kebab was acceptable, and I really enjoyed the tasty salad that came with it. **Design and Plating:** I was pleased with the arrangement and design of the kebabs. The presentation was visually appealing, adding a positive aspect to my dining experience. **Interior Design:** The interior design of the restaurant definitely needs improvement. More attention to this aspect could significantly enhance the overall dining experience. If you agree with my views, please like this review so the restaurant owner becomes aware and can improve the quality of their service. Certainly, this will be beneficial for both sides.

We all were really disappointed in how awful the food was. I’m not sure if it was just an off day for them but I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I am a continuous supporter of small restaurants before, during and present of the pandemic. As many close friends know, when I try a new restaurant, I don’t just order one or two items. In fact, I try to order as much variety as possible. At Redondo Beach’s Al Hamra Halal Café, I order a total of $61.51 including four types of kebab meats, eight different mezze appetizers, and two desserts. What I received and tasted was pure disappointment for all items!!! For appetizers, the kibbeh dough was extremely thick and mushy with very little meat and pine nuts inside. Also, there was only one kibbeh versus two of everything in the mezze platter! The meat filling in the samosa were a bit dry. The two falafel would turn vegetarians into carnivores – extremely dry and bland. Hummus, fries, and tabouli can use a heavy dose of seasoning. The only decent item was the yogurt cucumber salad. The kebabs – chicken, kofta, lamb and beef as well as the chicken shawarma wrap were extremely overcooked to the level of jerky and also lacked seasoning. The final two items that were good are the desserts that were probably not make in-house but brought in – namoura cake (basbousa) also known as a syrup-soaked semolina cake and the kunafa (knafeh), a sweet rather savory version with clotted cream, a hint of sugared rose water, with crushed pistachio and spun kataifi (shredded phyllo). In all honestly, if the owner and chef has no interest in making good food and representing Middle Eastern culture in a positive fashion, they should excuse themselves from the restaurant business.
