Io e le mie amiche siamo andate lì molte volte per studiare, per fare colaziome ma anche aperitivo. È un luogo molto accogliente e il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile. Per noi è diventato un posto di fiducia.

Esperienza positiva di domenica sera. Aperitivo per 4 ben preparato con stuzzichini buoni ed adeguati ad una apericena. Da consigliare. I ragazzi che ci hanno serviti sono stati tempestivi, professionali e precisi nel descrivere i piatti abbinati al drink

Ok, food is high standard (innovative cuisine with a touch of frenchy-Mediterranean style) with fresh, excellent ingredient. Location is literally my fav (in the centre of the world! Old town, cathedral, main 19th century square and the harbour at a stone’s throw.) But what I am really enthusiastic about, is the incredibly kind (for Genoa 😂) and warm customer service of the waiting stuff. Always kind and helpful with any requests. Applause deserved guys! Really made my day (my angela waiters were Luciana and Daniele 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻)

Un bel locale dentro a uno dei palazzi piu belli di Genova, Palazzo Ducale. Abbiamo usufruito di un offerta per i 25 anni dei "Mentelocale" , a 25 € ti fanno un aperitivo per due, con a scelta degli assaggi scelti tra le varie proposte del menù. Drink buoni, cibo non propriamente secondo le aspettative. La focaccia al formaggio non era buonissima, i crostini nulla di speciale. Sinceramente,comunque per questa cifra non si può fare di meglio. Il servizio dei camerieri è buono, sono gentili e servizievoli.

Ciao!! Ho passato il tardo pomeriggio con la mia amica per fare un semplice aperitivo, devo dire complimenti al cameriere che ci ha servire con gentilezza e professionalità credo si chiami Pietro, buoni i drink proprietà dal barista. Torneremo !!!

Good spot to sit, and have a rest. We didn't have an issue with the staff, they were polite and friendly. They did bring the wrong drink out, but they quickly fixed it, and it wasn't an issue. Desserts and drinks were great.

DOUCE patisserie is situated in the heart of Genova, next to Palazzo Ducale, P. Ferreira, two Basilica. Access is easy either going up walking from the sea shore and Aquario di Genova or from the main shopping street of XX Settembre. The sitting area is modern styled. The place offers wide collection of patisserie, very delicious. It has also good choices of tea& Coffee . The menu offers quick dishes according to certain hour during the day so you can find hot drinks only, lunch menu from 11-16, then dinner menu later on. I think that the cold dishes of salads are good to order. Of course hot drinks and cakes. As for the hot dishes during the day, I would recommend to have local Italian Genovese dishes elsewhere. The ambience is cool. Place is very nice.. Enjoy the photos... worth it.

Nice atmosphere outside the Ducale Palace, but our lunch was a little disappointing and overpriced. Head to the nearby Piazza delle Erbe foruch better food.

Mi capita di andarci ogni tanto perché amicizie che organizzano aperitivi mi invitano, ma se fosse per me organizzerei da tutt'altra parte. Non è un brutto posto, ma niente di che. Nessuna location suggestiva, sei dentro il Ducale, bello, ma se stai dentro al locale è uno come tanti. Ho letto delle recensioni dove sentivano la mancanza di quando era a buffet, vero concordo con loro. Però posso dire che ho ordinato le patate rustiche e le ho trovate super buone. Cocktail carini, sembrano presentati discretamente, ma poi non sono poi così buoni. Quindi, a molti piace, sono gusti. Io lo terrei personalmente tra le ultime alternative nel caso in cui fosse tutto chiuso.

NON esiste più l'aperitivo a Buffet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Questa è stata la più grande delusione di tutta Genova per me, che venivo qui ogni volta che vengo a Genova, per l'aperitivo a buffet. Peccato davvero. E' diventato caro....e la carta dei vini è praticamente inesistente..... ma i cocktail sono sempre ottimi, e anche la qualità dei piattini / piatti serviti con l'apericena è molto buona. Il bagno lascia molto a desiderare. C'è scritto "questo non è un bagno pubblico" .... però purtroppo, lo stato di pulizia e la mancanza di carta igienica, carta per le mani, così come il non-funzionamento dell'aria per asciugarsi, lo fanno sembrare tale !!

Many food options not available, already in the late morning. Waitress quite impolite, delayed and clearly not happy with requests like what food is available if you do not have focaccia. She preventitively said that they do not provide any vegetarian or vegan food, very kind of her to say it, maybe she hoped we would leave.

Dopo parecchio tempo sono ritornata ma una delusione infinita. Servizio pessimo bicchieri che sembravano vecchi di millenni dopo usi infiniti di lavastoviglie neanche il tempo di ordinare e già veniva un altro addetto a chiedere il pagamento del conto prima di portare le ordinazioni. Purtroppo tutto cambiato non so se dipende dalla gestione o altro ma sconsigliatissimo almeno x il momento del resto in zona ci sono altri locali

Waitress is pissed on the world. Asked what coffee we want - normal coffee or coffee dope. As a tourist coffee should be just a coffee, so it would be nice if she could properly explain the difference thats normal coffee is just espresso . If you hate your job, choose other one 🤷‍♂️

Sono stato al bistrot per un aperitivo. Il formato dell'aperitivo è scomodo (2 cocktail a 25 euro compresi tre piattini a scelta) e di qualità bassa. Servizio lento. Rimpiango i tempi del buffet.

Siamo entrati per errore dall’ingresso sbagliato, probabilmente perché in quel momento si stava svolgendo un evento privato. Tuttavia, invece di ricevere una spiegazione gentile, una cameriera ci ha accolti urlando “FUORI!!!” in un tono davvero aggressivo e offensivo. Non avevo mai sperimentato un trattamento così maleducato nei confronti dei clienti. Anche se si fosse trattato di un semplice errore, ci si aspetta rispetto ed educazione, non aggressività. È stato un episodio estremamente spiacevole che ci ha lasciato un’impressione molto negativa del locale. Spero sinceramente che la direzione insegni al personale come trattare le persone con un minimo di cortesia.

L’impiegata si comporta in modo scortese: mostra interesse e un buon servizio solo verso le persone che le piacciono. Oggi, per esempio, le ho chiesto che il cappuccino fosse più caldo perché era da asporto, ma si è infastidita per la richiesta. Inoltre, la tazza non era come la volevo, e la cosa peggiore è che era riempita solo a metà. Me ne sono accorto solo quando ero già uscito e avevo fretta. Questo episodio si è ripetuto diverse volte, come se non pagassimo per ciò che mangiamo o beviamo

Rude staff. The whole place is empty - we are the second taken table. We asked to sit on the beach chairs - the answer was „no”. When I asked why the answer was „because there are two beach chairs to one table” - but the restaurant was empty (only us and one other table taken) so we asked if we could just use 3 chairs and one table but the answer was still rude „no”.

Slow service and very unfriendly staff outside. Overheard them complaining about a table next to us. We moved tables because of the sun and they were very annoyed. Next to all of this the beers are €6! There are lots and lots of nice cafes to go to in Genoa. You should definitely skip this one. On a positive note, the bartender behind the register was friendly.
