I loved the lunch. We were a party of 7 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Our waiter was fantastic. He recommended foods for us to share, appetizers to share and desserts. We ordered 5 main courses among the 7 of us. We had plenty of appetizers to share. Plenty of food for sure. It was served family style. One dish was better than the other. Now I’m going back with friends. It was a fantastic experience. Plus eating on the large patio and seeing the mountains and the vineyards was spectacular.
It’s a nice place to eat far for the madness of this world, nearby a private art collection and the design coming from on of the most inventive and crazy mi d of our time. I let you imagine the print it may have on the wine. Who cares about more profit when your are Coppola? Thanks to have created this place. (And good luck to the new owner)
I cannot say enough about Rustic! The personal service, quality of food, atmosphere, and over all experience is "" world class""! The grounds are exquisite! The interior tasting room and restaurant are inviting to all who enter. This is the experience of a life time. I'm privileged to live close enough to frequent the comfort and luxury often. My hope is that Many others do as well. This is truly a gorgeous place that knows how to take care of other.
Outstanding food, outstanding service and outstanding atmosphere. The staff was so pleasant and polite from making reservations to the wait staff. Despite the 90 degree sun, at 11:30 it was comfortable under the umbrellas with the beautiful views of the vineyard and mountains. We had several dishes and shared them family style. Afterwards we walked through the garden, saw the vineyard (and snuck a few grapes to try) then hit the museum.
Food was great quality and everything tasted amazing. We were a large party celebrating a birthday, we received one of the best restaurant services we ever did. Thank you Coppola Team for creating such a wonderful experience for us and our guests. We will be back!
We had a tremendous birthday lunch at Rustic where we dined inside. The meal was absolutely delicious but the server, Melissa, went out of her way to make our lunch experience memorable and more than enjoyable…from requested suggestions to her patience and especially not rushing us at all. I would highly recommend lunch and if you’re lucky, Melissa will be your server !
Loved the tasting flight here! We brought o ur relatives from Japan here and had a wonderful time. They were very accommodating to our large party
Service was excellent. Server and wait staff were efficient, kept checking on us and friendly. Dishes were clear when done and beverages were filled when empty. Ambiance was peaceful, clean, free of debris and relaxing. Food came temperature hot like I like it. Great food presentation, flavors were well balanced and food was scrumptious. As we left the restaurant, chef, maître d' and staff thanked us for our business. Before we left the property, we visited the museum and shops. Brings back memories of movie pictures I have seen. You can purchase day passes to use the swimming pool that has restaurant service, storage areas for changing and to keep your stuff and other amenities you can add.
I have been coming here for many years, this is my first visit under the new owners. I found that the staff was extremely kind and treated us like family. They were attentive with all aspects of the dining experience. The food was great and of course the wine/cocktails was worth the visit. Dru and all the staff made it an experience that we will not forget.
Nice atmosphere, good wine, nice service. Food is good, but don't expect a 100% Italian cooking.
Beautiful, classy restaurant with great food. Museum is right there, so you can have a blast looking at old costumes and props from the films. Napkins come with button holes so you can wear them as bibs. Want to spend more time here next time. Can't bean the atmosphere and food.
Since you enter the restaurant you feel the welcome. The staff is friendly and the service outstanding. We order a Caesar salad that was perfectly prepare and so fresh. The pizzas thing and crunchy with the right amount of cheese. My husband order the Sofia pizza and I order one with caramelice onions that was sensational. My son’s pastas was very good too but the final surprise was the desert. The olive oil cake. OMG so good. I am a picky eater and this was perfection from Start to end.
We went here for dinner and it was raining but I wish we could have had time to walk around the property. It's so pretty with the large staircase from the parking up to the restaurant Rustic. There is an elevator too. You enter the memorabilia room before getting to the restaurant. So many things to see but we were there right before they closed that area so we didn't have time to walk around. Will have to do that next time. Dinner was delicious and the waitress was superb! She was very attentive and took care of our party well. Didn't blink an eye when we requested separate checks too. Her service made the evening even more special. Will recommend the seafood linguine pasta, salt crust branzino, wild mushroom pizza, Cesar salad, and burrata and bread appetizer.
We had a great time at Rustic and they customized Linguine pasta with fall vegetables and pizza was just amazing!
We took a friend to visit the restaurant and winery. Our experience whenever we go is always incredible and delicious. The food was very tasty and the service was impeccable. I recommend it to anyone who is visiting.
Dinner was good. Nothing really special about food but being in the Winery made it nice. Lovely grounds and Coppola memorabilia. But what made our evening so fun was the cute, delightful bartender. She was attentive and full of suggestions and made delicious drinks. She made our time there very special.
This place was better than I had expected, had early dinner there a week ago, food was good but not stellar. The grounds and vineyards are pretty for sure, all the movie memorabilia adds a nice touch to your visit if you are a Coppola fan. Had the chance to taste "Diamonds" wine, it was really good.
Zucchini fries are delishious. We ordered a pizza to share, which was perfect for lunch after the reserve tastings upstairs. The little fried bread starter was probably the best thing ever & I want to learn how to make them! Loved the vintage olive oil art collection 🇮🇹
The most unique of all the vineyards I have experienced. I spent 3 days in Sonoma & have previously visited Napa 3 times. This vineyard was one of my favorite experiences and was followed by my favorite, Baca, just down the street. Seeing the movie memorabilia inside was so neat and I loved the indoor & outdoor seating options. Highly recommend visiting the pool and making a day of it. To top it off, there is a cute shopping complex in Downtown Healdsburg that has a great variety of shopping, coffee, food, & tasting bars.
Set in Geyserville of Somoma Valley, the views are stunning. Excellent food, try the porterhouse for 2. The eggplant parm is amazing, too. Of course the wine is always very good. Great movie memorabilia to check out. The car from Tucker is beautiful. CIAO!
Reservation is recommended. The food was pretty good and the service as well. Nice area and interior.
Beautiful setting, restaurant and great staff. I highly recommend sitting outside overlooking the vineyard. Just a fabulous experience all around, from the time the maitre d' welcomed us and showed us to our table until we competed a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable helping us through their menu of mainly Argentine offerings. The focal point of the restaurant is an Argentine Parrilla(grill). We all ordered everything from fish(prepared table-side) to pizza and Lamb. I ordered the Rack of Lamb... The lamb racks are marinated in pomegranate juice and white onions for three days, and then grilled on the parrilla. It was absolutely fantastic. Our table also enjoyed the Marrakesh Lamb that is cooked overnight in a clay pot covered with embers. The meat just fell off the bone... amazing. And, of course we enjoyed a nice selection of Coppola wine. In addition to a great meal, if you're a movie buff, there is a whole display of movie memorabilia from Coppola's movies downstairs.
Absolutely fabulous, so happy to visit. Gives you a feeling you’re a part of the family. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful food and life experience!

Enjoyed a very nice wine tasting experience with family. We ate at the restaurant as well, different varieties of pastas and pizzas. Outside seating is the best experience. Do the tasting, buy your wine and enjoy at your table, with beautiful views.

It's just a great atmosphere. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Service was very good I had rack of lamb marinated but it was well done because of the way the marinate and chewed could not taste lamb. My wife's pasta with bolonaise sauce was excellent. Definitely will go back. .
Sadly, they were already out of the whole fish in salt, even though it was only 5 o'clock! On the other hand, it gave me the opportunity to savor the rack of lamb, which was very flavorful and melted in the mouth (nor was it too well done, the medium rare was just right!). Excellent service, although I did end the meal a little overfull, everything was just so good! As in all Coppola's restaurants, the wine was delicious and not overpriced, and the atmosphere and surroundings are exquisite - i'm going back!
Have eaten here on many occasions with a large group of friends for both weekend lunch and dinner. My friends love their espresso martinis, and they have Pimm’s No. 1, for a refreshing summer cocktail. The food is always outstanding. We let the chef decide what to serve us, and we eat family style, trying many of their dishes. The Lemon Chicken is lemony delish; the Gateau De Pommes (Potato Cake) disappears immediately! I always take the leftovers, and I freeze their incredible meatballs for sandwiches. The grounds are very pretty; the view from the outdoor restaurant deck is classic Sonoma County viticultural beauty. My only complaint is the bar is packed, and service has suffered, every time we have visited. Had there been a second bartender during the busy hours, it would have warranted a 5 star review.

The view was amazing, and the winery and memorabilia inside is beautiful. But the service is not great, our waiter ( Andrew or Bobby - he changed his name since he sensed we were less than happy with his service) seemed irritated and inconvenienced by us the entire time. The food is hit or miss, and if it “hits” it’s just Ok. Go for the view and the grounds.
Great service, servers were attentive and friendly. The only problem I really had was we paid $15 for the saddest Spaghetti al Pomodoro....no salt, herbs, or pepper added or even on the side. It said it came with Basil, but it didn't (had to ask for it), and it just wasn't great for the money...Fries were good, burgers were great, wine amazing. The only thing I could really eat as a vegan here was the fries, olives and pasta...hope for another choice in the future, but the price of the pasta doesn't cut it. 😭
Risotto and chicken was on point. I honestly never thought I would enjoy a chicken dish at a restaurant but the chicken here was extremely good. Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Meatballs and salmon had robust and rich flavors. Dessert was excellent. I especially enjoyed the hazelnut gelato. Service was prompt and views were gorgeous. However, the pastas left a lot to be desired and was shockingly bad. Tomato sauce was flavorless and under-spiced. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The carbonara was basic. For the technically challenging aspects of the dishes to be amazing but for the basic components of the dishes to be so badly executed is extremely disappointing. If we didn’t ordered the pasta dishes this would have been easily a 5/5 experience.

Good food but they close at 3 sharp no exceptions, what kind of restaurant isn’t open for dinner
They have completely lost the plot. Used to be a favorite restaurant of ours until our final visit on July 24, 2022. Server knowingly brought me the incorrect wine from what I had specifically ordered and declined to show me the label or check in with me prior to pouring. After calling him back once I’d seen the label, initial response was ‘Surely you don’t expect us to reprint the menu every time the wines change’ and then switched to ‘I brought you a Reserve Cab so what’s the issue’ the fact I chose the Stuhlmuller vineyard (rather than the Battle family which was poured), I clearly received the ignorant tourist treatment. While I might expect that from the odd restaurant, I would never expect it from a Vineyard serving their own wines. Food was ok however bread rolls were only provided on request whereas usually, these are delivered warm to the table early on and are a key favorite/draw. While you can throw all the money you like at buying an asset, if you lose the inherent experience, you’ll lose your investment in the end, mark my words…
The scaping views of the vineyards and the friendly service are the only redeeming qualities of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the lackluster dinner my wife and I were served this evening spoiled the positives. The Bolognese pasta lacked any flavor and was lathered in watery red sauce-- any can of sauce purchased at the grocery store would have been better. While my wife's pizza crust was decent, the toppings were mediocre at best. A very disappointing way to end our trip to California...
I give two stars for the beautiful building, the cute patio, and the view. The food was "beyond" below expectations. We got the fried zuchinni and the burger. Both were so bad we felt like we had to push through to eat them. The zuchinni was overly salty. It was also overly breaded with each bite being mostly the breadcrumbs with a little bit of zuchinni and a ton of salt. The burger was also overly salty. Same for the fries. To compare, In N Out fries beat these (over-salted) fries out of the water. Then the meat in the burger had an unsavory smell. If you're coming here, adjust your expectations to nothing more than (bad) bar food.
After nearly 10 years since my last visit, I decided to stop by Rustic at Francis Ford Coppola Winery for an early dinner during a road trip. Unfortunately, while the food was just as delicious as I remembered, the overall experience left much to be desired. The Good – The Food: - Marinara Pizza: Absolutely fantastic, just as I remembered. The plum, juicy tomatoes were the star of the dish. - Daily Specials: We ordered the meatballs with pasta and the salmon, both of which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Zero complaints on food quality—it was a solid 5/5 in this regard. The Not-So-Good – Cleanliness and Service: Upon being seated, I immediately noticed food debris scattered on the floor around our booth. It’s hard to enjoy the ambiance of a winery restaurant with a lack of basic cleanliness. Service, unfortunately, was the biggest letdown. Our waiter seemed disengaged and, quite frankly, unprofessional. While it’s understandable that wineries often have a relaxed vibe, I found her inattentiveness unacceptable. She would walk by, speak loudly without actually engaging or listening, and then leave mid-conversation. It felt as though she wasn’t fully present, which really detracted from the dining experience. Final Thoughts: While the food remains a highlight, Rustic seems to have slipped in terms of management, cleanliness, and service. The lack of attentiveness and professionalism was disappointing, and the absence of a visible manager to address these issues makes me question the oversight of the restaurant. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to the memories I had of Rustic from years ago. While I’m grateful for the great food, I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon—if at all. Rating Breakdown: - Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 - Service: ⭐ 1/5 - Cleanliness/Ambiance: ⭐⭐ 2/5 Here’s hoping the team steps up to bring this place back to its former glory.
This is a very good winery and restaurant but definitely not kids friendly. They don’t have anyf kids menu or another option of beverages for kids. We don’t even get the seating that we want because we had kids with us. Staff not friendly with kids at all. I don’t recommend this place at all if you bring kids.
