Fantastic place! The food is excellent with large portion sizes, even bigger cocktails which are the best we have tasted in Gibralter and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. We look forward to returning.

I have only ever been here at lunctime and only ever eaten the rare beef Pho. It is brilliant and authentic, I ate this every day for 4 months in Vietnam. I asked for it to be served with fresh chilli and they accommodated without hesitation. Staff are friendly. I haven't seen it busy but that resulted in fast amazing service.

The vegetarian/vegan food there is so good! The chili tofu and the hoisin vegan chicken is truly so tasty, totally recommended. Plus the place is very pretty.

Absolutely delighted with our experience at Thi, and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing Mercan, the manager. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel like family. We visited on the very first night of our holiday, and she truly made it special with her warmth, attention to detail, and impeccable hospitality. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable. So much so that we returned on our final special night, and now, we have a lasting memory at the restaurant! Mercan planted a pot of chilli seeds with our names on it, which was such a thoughtful and unique gesture. We’re incredibly grateful for her kindness and exceptional service—she truly added to our random moments and made our holiday extraordinary. A friend for life, thank you so much Mercan, can’t wait to return. You did good <3 Charley & Billy (Chilli)

We came here as we were passing and ordered 2 Mojitos and a couple of starters namely spring rolls and chilli squid. Everything was excellent as was the service. Don’t let other reviews put you off this place is good!

Celebrated my birthday here Christian, the bartender deserves a shout out to his amazing customer service 5 star, he made us Daiquiris and were absolutely pleased. Food service was too slow and literally had to ask for attention when needed. The bill was got to the table even before the mains were ordered by the confused staff member no apology extended whatsoever Not very pleased with the service.

Food was amazing! My dad is Vegan so was a worry to find decent options, but there's plenty! Vegan chicken and Vegan duck are Seitan by the looks of it, and Tofu is also available! He says 100% recommendation! I personally didn't know what to order as it all sounded great! I asked our waitress what she recommended and I had the Lamb curry with egg fried rice. Something I'd never order personally but really happy she recommended it! Beautiful! For those saying its expensive I disagree, we definitely got what we paid for. Back in the UK most Thai, Japanese or Chinese places are priced similarly. Its even better value for money when you get your dad to pay 🤣

Very romantic setting that you even forget that you are in Gibraltar. Extremely clean and very polite stuff. The food is very sumptuous and yummy. I also liked the fact that you can see the chef's kitchen, the chef cooking and how clean it is. Restaurants should really adopt this as it gives patrons reassurance. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Gibraltar 🇬🇮

This restaurant is amazing! We visited as a group of 5. There were no tables left outside but inside was too hot. The manager made sure we were at another table outside. I can eat Asian (Chinese) food, but I can’t eat a lot as I find it too oily. The starter and main were absolutely gorgeous. Completely finished my plate. We were all so impressed with the standard of food we received. And the service was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Good food. Nice atmosphere. The service is not bad but need to wait for some time as it was really busy. If you fancy Asian food, this could be a good place to start with. It is a reasonable price in Gibraltar.

A most friendly atmosphere and great cocktails and food. The staff could not be more welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant. The cocktail I chose was the melon daiquiri which was fantastic. We went back again yesterday (26-08-24) and the food is just as good as ever. There is also a good range of vegetarian and vegan dishes now. The staff are very friendly and the manager remembered us and the wine we drank last time!

If I could give even higher of a rating I would. The drink/ food was amazing at both lunch and dinner with a beautiful setting. You are made to feel so welcome by the lovely staff, Mercan made us feel especially welcome, going above and beyond by helping us with other issues as well as having a chat and a laugh with us. Also the selection of vegetarian and vegan food is amazing, we stayed in Gibraltar for 5 days and dined here 3 of those days!

Food was great. The lady who served us was so grumpy was making funny noises. She didn't like to serve customers at all. Got our drinks order wrong when we told her we ordered a jog of Mojito not 2 drinks she was so angry started mumbling as if she was cursing us. Most of the custsat on the terrace had to come inside the restaurant to order as she didn't go out to take there orders.

LOVE Thi Vietnamese! We are so glad we went here on a whim for our last evening in Gibraltar. Started with, banh cuon. Delicious, absolutely out of this world. Mains we had, fried ho fun and sliced beef in black pepper sauce. The beef was melt in your mouth tender and the egg fried rice was so fresh!! We did have a little mishap with dessert (it never arrived) but, it honestly took nothing away from the experience as the service was excellent and the lady was kind enough to give us a small bottle of bubbly to take away as an apology which was a lovely gesture. Due back in Gib next year, and hope to make here a dinner spot once or twice!

We have decided to visit and try this Vietnamese place and we were very surprised, as the food was really good, service was nice and very fast (not like most of the restaurants nearby during the lunch time) and the prices were pretty good as well. Definitely we will come back. UPDATE: we came back again and the food was really good. The service was not that good as first time. The waiter was new and looked a bit confused, nobody explained how the traditional soup needs to be eaten, we needed to ask for the sauces o be brought etc. UPDATE2: The food was still very good! Tried Lemongrass prawns and were delicious.

I know this place has some negative reviews but I actually thought it was pretty good, perhaps just a bit disorganised. The staff were very friendly, and the food was pretty good. The wait for the main was a little long but nothing too excessive. Overall I had a good time and it's worth trying out.

Vegetarian Pho was very good & not expensive. Sweet chilly chicken (vegan) was also good. Vegan bacon rice & chilly mushrooms were like plain side dishes for the price of normal dish mentioned up.

Eaten here a few times. Always very welcoming and feel really paid attention too. Their food is lovely, especially the Crispy chilli beef! Their noodles are also good and full of flavour. Whenever I go, I always order a mojito too, they don't skimp on the limes or mint like a lot of places! They also allow dogs into the establishment which is a big plus! The decor is also interesting. Would 100% recommend.

This Vietnamese restaurant is definitely a place to try if you want to try something different. We tried several different starters, all of which were very good indeed, in particular the duck rolls and the shredded chilli beef.

After exploring Gibraltar for the day we decided to visit Thi for some cocktails. Upon arrival there was one other table outside and we was waiting 20 minutes before going in to get a waitress to serve us. The cocktails were absolutely spot on and we also ordered some prawn crackers, I also asked the waitress if we could have some sweet chilli sauce with them and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. Overall, the place is nice and the drinks were nice and I’m sure the food would be nice too but think they need some training on service.

5***** star cocktails. Delicious and refreshing, served nicely. Definitely moreish! The rating is mainly for the drinks. 4**** ambience. Nice straw parasols, paper lanterns and wooden tables outside made nice decor. Good location at Ocean Village. 3*** service. Not too bad, but a little slow at times. Manager was fun and interesting to talk to. Dish that was "recommended" by a server turned out to be a flop... 1* food. Unfortunately not Vietnamese at all. Not even Asian (??) Teriyaki chicken tasted like golden syrup. Coconut chicken was overly sweet as well...someone take the sugar away from the chef!!! Ruined the food completely. Egg fried rice didn't taste great and was bland. Really disappointed with the food.

We went to eat here on Sunday and the food was unreal! honestly don't have a bad word to say about the food, however the service left us feeling very uncomfortable. My starter came out and after about 15 minutes my partner went to politley ask how long his would be as I didn't want to eat without him and the waitress was so rude. After that her attitude towards us was just shocking. She brought the mains over and asked very hesitantly if we wanted sauces and when we asked what they had she replied ' I don't know'. Its was very uncomfortable and after we ate, it just made us want to leave as soon as possible. Delicious food but such a shame to be treated so badly. Have never left a bad review before but I have also never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a restaurant.

A
Andrew Mullis

Ordered a starter but Not delivered, then the bill came and they had the cheek to charge me for it. 1st time in a long time I have not left a tip for service. Food was nice but being called darling all the time and hearing everyone else being called it was unprofessional. Staff buck your ideas up or ratings will kill you.

C
Christine Scippo

The atmosphere is lovely, the staff attentive but the food is like something served up in a college canteen pretending to be Thai. We had a lamb noodle dish - which literally was minced lamb, noodles, a bit of cumin and nothing else; and a prawn noodle dish which was flat noodles with a few slices of carrot, a small sprig of broccoli and absolutely no flavour at all. We had be warned by friends that the food wasn’t great here, but thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. Won’t be eating here again - although the atmosphere is ok for Drinks.

The food was alright - the beef pho was nice but the Singapore noodles a little bland. The place lacks atmosphere, the music was more massage parlour than restaurant. The people were lovely so I really hope it picks up for them.

Upon entering, we were welcomed by friendly staff. The area of the restaurant we sat down was too cold. There was quite a draft coming from the window. (I recommend that if you are visiting during colder months, do not sit near the windows) The only staff I would be able to commend would have been the manager herself. She was what I call 'interested.' Other staff members took way too long to attend my table of only two and collect drinks orders. But when pointed out to the manageress she ensured our table was waited on as soon as possible. We ordered our mains and starters to arrive at the table at the same time. However, I had to wait nearing 20 minutes for my main to arrive whilst one main dish and sides had already been placed on the table. (This is unacceptable in any circumstance. 5 minutes max. Under busy circumstances, i would have expected longer waiting times. But there were approximately 15 people in the restarant.) Be mindful when ordering your rice and noodles. Each one is enough for two people to share quite adequately. Even though main portions are on the smaller side, your side dish is enough to ensure your full. On my visit, I ordered the lamb curry. In my personal opinion, this was not a curry but, in fact, a very rich stew. The 'stew' was extremely salty, and therefore, I was unable to truthfully enjoy the meal itself. I raised this issue with the manager, and she said the chef would be tasting it as she also agreed it was not up to the standard. I intend on visiting again and trying other dishes as the chicken we ordered was quite tasty and something I would have expected in the first place. Maybe when I visit again, I will be writing a much better review of my food and experience.

Food is good, though the server was pretty fast talking about adding extras, though we didn't get anything we didn't want, portion size is generous, lamb curry was very good

Food ok. Bit bland. I was very shocked / disgusted to see the boss (a lady) picking at my husband's main dish (crispy chilli beef) when the chef passed it over the counter, so she could bring it to our table. She even came over to our table still chewing on a piece of the crispy beef. Asking us if everything was ok, (guilty conscience??). Won't be back 🤬 Restaurants reply was ...I must have been mistaken.....i saw it with my own eyes, I saw he take it of his plate twice and was still chewing it on our way to the table. Disgraceful behaviour

K

They don't have prices for all items on a menu. Like drinks. Careful what they say is the price and what you end up paying. The " mistake" is always in their favour.

T
Tom Collier

Unimpressed with our meals here today. We ordered a beef noodles dish and asked for extra vegetables but they simply added three small pieces of brocolli. The noodles were undercooked/tough. The meat was plain. The sauce was very plain. From the pictures in the menu we were expecting a more interesting flavour. The service was polite and friendly and the decor was quite delightful. But with regards to the food, I think I would find higher quality at a fast food restaurant for a much lower price!

H
Heather Callan

Had been here with friends a couple of times in May, decided to go again, just the two of us, because the food was lovely. I can’t fault the food at all, however, everything else is a different story! Far too expensive for what you get. If the prices had included rice, chips etc, it would be a good price, but no, you pay extra for those so it is a pricey place to eat out and I’m not surprised that it hasn’t been busy any of the times we have been there I ordered a glass of fresh orange and lemonade, which arrived in a pint glass, which was ok. The price of said pint of fresh orange and lemonade? A staggering £8.35!!! How? Well, bearing in mind this is in a pint glass, £4.50 for the orange juice and £2.85 for the sprite!! Now, I wouldn’t even pay that for a single can, and there is no way there was a full can of sprite in that glass!! Then there’s the service. Considering it wasn’t busy there seemed to be more than enough staff but, could we get attention when we needed it, no, we couldn’t. I took ages for us to get our bill - by which we were totally stunned. We won’t be back because of the prices and service but the food is lovely

D

Quite poor mains, tasted nothing like actual Vietnamese food. mango salad was good to start. Unexpected additions to the bill which were assumed by the staff rather than checked. Wouldn't come back.

A
Anna Zonato

Despite an appropriate ambiance and acceptable flavours, the portions were poorly presented and terribly small for the price (specially considering no dishes ordered involved any kind of meat - 13 pounds for 6 pieces of seitan with hoisin sauce and no rice included!). Customer service was also lacking. Do not recommend.

H
Holland Yachting (Daniel)

springrolls, very regular and more Chinese also not served with lettuce and mint, pho, very sober, the only green was spring onion (I think), if I compare it what you get next door it is poorly and relatively expensive...

E
Erik B

It’s far from authentic Vietnamese food, so don’t expect that. Food is decent, however very expensive for what it is. We ordered take-away soup noodles for the second time. First time the broth hardly covered the noodles. Hence this time I asked for extra broth to ensure we could enjoy a proper bowl of pho. However I don’t think the feedback was appreciated and when I asked another question the manager asked “what do you want” in a not very warm way. Anyway, received the same amount of minimal broth (and on top of that the iceberg lettuce was old for the side dish). Last time I lunch/order take-away from this place - shame as a good Vietnamese place in Gib/Spain would have a lot of potential.

W
Wojciech Babiarczuk

Bad bad, very bad. The worst experience I’ve had in Gibraltar, and of Vietnamese food. Bad service, got our order completely wrong, we waited for ages to get our veggie summer rolls which looked nothing like Vietnamese summer rolls: just lettuce and tofu wrapped in rice paper, we sent it back because was inedible. Avoid this place

A
Alistair

We ordered our food at 20:45, the starters took 1 full hour to arrive at 21:50. My girlfriend’s main came at 22:15 and my main course arrived 40mins later at 22:55. to top it all off the seabass wasn’t fully cooked either. The waitresses were apologetic but unfortunately a 2.5 hour wait for uncooked food is pathetic

A
Anna Maria W

Food was horrible, ordered tempura prawns, got four of them, bf ordered Chrispy chilli beef and eating it was a jaw workout, literally pedigree dental sticks with a ok sauce. Staff was ok but if you want good food DEFINITELY go somewhere else

N
Nneka Vo

Horrendous! Literally tastes like someone saw one Jamie Oliver special on vietnamese food and decided to open a restaurant. The vegetable Pho was a Veggie stock cube and some noodles and the veg in it was wilting! The rice was hard, Mango Salad could have been made by a 3 year old! Mango and 4 prawns, no seasoning, bland. What an absolute waste of my money.

Entered the premises spoke to a young lady at the bar in English, with a blank look so I spoke in Spanish still blank look, she went and got the owner who said she was Hungarian and was practising her English. We were seated and ordered our food, starters duck spring rolls and spring rolls with pork, prawn and mushroom. The duck rolls were full of fat and grisl with the skin which was like jelly. The spring rolls came in batter, which really confused me . Now we go to main Duck in plum sauce, which tasted more like sweet and sour, non of the fat had been rendered from the skin so was not possible to eat. Egg fried rice wasn't fried it was boiled rice with egg added and the last was a chicken curry swimming in oil, boiled chicken with no flavour and the curry sauce wasn't up to much. Bill came 65.00 slight saving grace when I brought this to the attention of the owner, she said don't pay the bill, which I didn't accept we had eaten bits so should pay, but when challenged about the duck she said "let me make you a proper one" which i thought was a very strange statement, in conclusion my advice would be stay clear especially if you are used to authentic Thai food

Gave it a chance despite the bad reviews but yeah the food is really poor. Vegetarian Summer rolls were sent out with shrimp in, then the correct ones were pretty meh anyway. The Vegan Chicken Pho was horrible, broth was like a stock cube and the vegan chicken tasted poor. The staff were nice at least.

Can't give any stars .by far the worst food , drink and come to think of it the worst restaurant I've ever been too .. stay clear .. Even the waitress said the soup was bland. After starters we wanted to cancel food order . Mango salad with pure fish sauce . When I told them I'm actually a chef she argued she worked at mitchelin standard what a joke .. never again .

I wish i could rate higher; the food and staff were lovely even though i’ve dined here before and an english waitress i usually love speaking to wasn’t there anymore, so that was disappointing. The whole experience was ruined by the disgusting manager. i don’t want to seem rude but i watched her scoop someone else’s leftovers and eat it, it just seemed unsanitary. I’m curious as to why the owner hasn’t addressed this and found a more suitable manager.

A Culinary Odyssey: From 'Extra Spicy' to Extra Disappointing. Embarking on a gastronomic adventure at this establishment was like expecting a first-class ticket to Flavour Town and ending up in Blandsville. After four years of contemplation, I finally succumbed to the allure of overpriced take-away, thinking it might be a value-packed experience. Alas, my taste buds are still recovering from the trauma. Let's talk about the star of the show – the £5.95 microscopic marvels they dared to call spring rolls. Five? More like the fantastic five seconds it took to inhale them. I've seen more substance in a politician's apology. The only thing sweet about the sweet and sour sauce was the victory it had over water – diluted, defeated, and desperate for redemption. The main courses continued the epic saga of culinary catastrophe. I opted for the 'extra spicy' noodles, only to discover they were the Gandalf of blandness – you shall not taste! My partner's crispy chilli chicken deserves an Oscar for its role as an imposter; it should be renamed 'Sweet Symphony,' a melody of disappointment in every bite. But wait, the pièce de résistance – a staggering £40 for two meals and the world's smallest, emptiest spring rolls. It's like they charged a convenience fee for the privilege of being underwhelmed. I'd consider this a culinary heist, but at least in a heist, you get something worth stealing. In summary, if you're looking to test your palate's resilience and enjoy a pricey game of culinary hide-and-seek, this place might just be your haven. As for me, I'll be searching for a restaurant where the only surprise is how delightful the meal turns out to be. Here's to hoping my taste buds recover from this costly voyage into the abyss of flavourlessness!

If I could give no stars I would as the food was terrible. The waitress was pleasant and friendly, but the food was awful. The plain steamed rice was tough and chewy, the main course a vegan chicken in a plum sauce resembled a cheap tin of cooking sauce spread over brown slices of crumbly seitan. The meal lacked imagination, with no vegetable or herb garnishes. The poor quality meal was worse than a cheap tesco value meal.

Poor service, even worse food. My girlfriend and I ordered the vermicelli noodles with tofu and vegetables. We waited an hour for the food to come and when it did, we were very disappointed. The dish - plain noodles with no sauce or broth with a paucity of bland tofu and vegetables - bore no resemblance to what was described on the menu. Avoid. My response to the owner’s reply (see below): Thanks for your reply. We did order the vegetarian bun, but as I said, the dish did not correspond to what was advertised on the menu. Your menu says the vegetarian bun comes with homemade sauce (there is no description of what that sauce is on the menu). When I asked the waitress about the sauce, she told me the dish comes with a broth. The dish we were served an hour later came with neither sauce nor broth. Nor was it infused with any of the flavours and zest you expect at a Vietnamese restaurant. No garlic, no ginger, no lime, no chilli - just plain noodles with a few slithers of undercooked tofu, bland and flaccid. Perhaps you should consider revising this dish if, as you suggested, it lacks flavour. Then, this dish may be the right one to order. We understand you were busy and short-staffed, but that’s a managerial failure. You must have had an idea of how busy the restaurant was going to be on a Friday night and planned accordingly. We weren’t alone in our disappointment. We can’t speak for all your customers, but anecdotally, the couple sat next to us also complained about the length of time they waited for food to arrive. Unfortunately, we won’t be dining again. For the sake of other diners, I can only hope our experience was an aberration from the usual quality of your food and service.

Helaas.

Overpriced and very bland food. Order beef dish and get literally zero veg with it, same with prawn dish, maybe I got them on a bad day but genuinely terrible. Staff and venue very nice but food not for me.

Really bad customer service and rude staff. We ordered a takeaway through one of the delivery apps and there had been a mix up with our order. We called the restaurant to advise them of this and the staff responded that it was not their fault but of the delivery driver. Notwithstanding this, we still had no food, they had charged me for my order and the restaurant was reluctant to sort this problem and strongly insisted that they were not at fault and we should sort it out ourselves with the delivery company. Having contacted the delivery company, they confirmed that there had been a mix up because the restaurant mistakenly put our order under the wrong name. The restaurant was quick enough to put the blame on the delivery company instead of trying to offer a solution to the problem. We were grateful that the delivery company was quick and helpful to correct this problem and bring us our food. Had it not been for the delivery company's help, I would have been charged £120 for my takeaway, would have not received anything and the restaurant would have not gone out of their way to prepare our order again, since they very clearly told us that if they did that, they would be at a loss, not taking into consideration that they had already cashed in our money. So much for servicing your customer and 'the customer is always right.'

Besser woanders essen gehen.

Unfortunately the food was poor quality and flavourless. Dishes were nothing like the pictures on the menu and the noodles were so bland. You know when your friend says “you know if I could’ve cooked this at home then it’s bad” Disappointing sadly.

I am a trained cook and can only say this meal totally lacked any professional ability. Don’t be fooled by the photos on the menu We like Vietnamese food so thought we’d have lunch here. BOG MISTAKE! As you can see the Chicken Tempura basically lacked chicken ! it was wafer thin - It was a miracle that they managed to coat and deep fry without it disintegrating The Vermicelli with vegetables - one word describes it RAW. The veg was minimal and carrots were completely raw. The chef obviously loves his jar of dried chilli flakes - and uses them as a substitute for lack of culinary skill. This condiment that was evident in ALL the other dishes only delivering a hot raw spicyness- not flavour Pho was nice, and the spring rolls had nice filo type wrap - but again very little filling. The service was good but food substandard. EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH POOR QUALITY.

Visited her last Friday...I do love this type of cuisine so was really looking forward to it. As a none meat eater I did find the selection somewhat lacking, but did find a dish I was happy to have. Cuterlry was placed on table&to my horror the fork had dried on food on it,so that immediately rang alarm bells, the waitress didn't seem fazed by this which I didn't like....my meal was bland, the rice was stodgy &my partners duck&subsequent main meal tough&extremely tasteless. And for the price paid I was not impressed....so many other much nicer places to eat....so I'd say give this a miss!

Not authentic vietnamese food at all. Stay clear!! Food was either too salty or too sweet, especially the fish sauce was so salty like it came directly from the sea. Grilled pork was sweet like a dessert. Portions were so small for the price we paid, 58 euro for a simple lunch.

Nestled in a great location, my wife and I had high hopes for this restaurant. Sadly, we were in for a fairly poor experience. The hostess offered us an extra roll in our summer roll order just to round it out and asked if we wanted some vegetables in our Pho. We said yes thanks (with no warning of the extra cost). The rolls were not bad, but nothing special. The Pho, however, was very dissapointing. It was essentially just slightly beef flavoured water with undercooked vegetables and very tough meat (not slow cooked at all). While we were endlessly waiting for our bill, another couple came in and waited for over 10 minutes just to leave as the hostess ignored us all and chatted with her friends in a corner. No other staff bothered to help us either. We had to find them for the bill and when we finally received it we saw that we had been charged for the extra roll and charged an extra 12 pounds for the vegetables. The Pho was essentially over £20 each, with a final bill of over £50 for bad Pho and bad service. When we went to pay (I again had to find them as no one bothered to come to our table) a waiter casually says to me "oh, we don't accept card, only cash. But you're in luck, there's a cash machine around the corner!". I explained that this should have been told to us ahead of time. With no apology offered we handed them the cash and left. Never again. Nice location, bad food, bad service, bad communication.

Based on ordering a classic bun (vermicelli noodle with grilled pork).. I opted for th tofu and vegetable option. The portion was tiny, the vermicelli was dry like it was reheated over and over, broccoli overcooked and was mushy, no herbs and was served with soy sauce and not the traditional fish sauce. This is far from authentic. Super disappointed. 1 star only because was service was okay and waitress was polite. I doubt I will go back to try any other dishes. Based on the classic dish they couldn't even get right I don't have high hopes for the other dishes. So if you want authentic Vietnamese then steer clear of this place.

It’s up there in the top 5 worst meals ever. Warm cocktails and the food well less said the better, more late night Chinese takeaway than anything true Thai

We’ve eaten here several times in the past and always found the food excellent, pricing fair, and the atmosphere lovely, we hadn't been for quite some time so were excited to return which is why this visit was so disappointing. This time, the quality of the food did not justify the price. The spring rolls were particularly poor, they tasted like cheap, frozen, pre packed ones rather than freshly made, when cut they looked like dry sausage meat inside. The egg fried rice was dry rice with very little egg, nothing like what we’ve been served here previously. The duck was also very dry and overcooked. Our bill for two adults and two children came to £115, which felt excessive given the drop in quality. The atmosphere was also completely different from what we’ve experienced before. The restaurant felt cold, and loud English pub-style music was playing, which really didn’t suit the setting or cuisine. To make matters worse, an £11.50 tip was added to the bill by the restaurant. When I asked for it to be removed, I was told she wouldn't remove it because the manager wasn’t present. I don’t know of any other restaurant in Gibraltar that enforces a tip like this for 2 adults and 2 children. Service charges should be discretionary, not compulsory especially when a customer is unhappy with the experience. Sadly, this will be the last time we dine here and after discussing with friends and family they won't be returning either.

The food here is terrible. There were 4 of us and we ordered 4 different meals. The banh Cuon was very thick and was only served with a bit of soggy fried onion. The beef pho had no taste at all. It tasted like hot water and beef stock cubes. Was served with about 4 pieces of spring onions and no coriander. My husband had fried pho which was soo salty. My brother had bun thit nướng. It was literally just rice noodles and some what looked like stir fried pork on top. Served with only fish sauce.

I was really disappointed with this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered a pho and a stir‑fried noodle dish, and both were well below standard. The pho was especially poor — the beef tasted strange, the portion had barely any noodles, and for £14 it came with no garnish at all. That’s simply not how pho is meant to be served. On top of that, I was charged an extra £1 just for asking for the stir‑fried noodles to be spicy. The dish itself wasn’t great either, and certainly didn’t justify the extra charge. Overall, nothing about the food felt authentic, and the quality didn’t match the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I feel sorry for the gentlemen that works with what i can only assume is the owner she is vile, horrid attitude, poor service and food isnt the best at all my noodles was okay but can cook it better myself. They dont tell you the vegetbales are an extra cost in your meal and my friends pho looked like dish water which she informed me tasted horrid. My other friend said his main lacked flavourwhich was the sweet chill chicken. AVOID AT ALL COST.
