Mean Max is a family favorite. We've been fans since it first opened. We enjoy it for a casual drink or a family party/event. They allow any outside food you want to bring, at anytime! Fun atmosphere and Trivia Nights Wednesdays at 7pm!! They have great craft beers (my husband loves the sours especially!), cider and wine/spirits!

Brewery with lots of open space located in downtown area of glens falls. On street parking in a busy area so be patient and park carefully. Brewery is larger sized and offers quite a variety and rotating beers of the month. Brewery was warm welcoming and beer was tasty. Dog and child friendly.

You can't really compare Mean Max to any other craft brewery/bar. Everything about them is unique. Whether it's the atmosphere or their solid selection of beer, Mean Max is Mean Max. I don't drink here super often but every experience has been great. Surprisingly enough, also a great hub for live music

They don't have food but I rated 5 stars because it's so great they allow you to bring in food or have food delivered! Mean Max is such a great place to be - bartenders are attentive, great local live music, nice space inside & out on the patio.

We drove all the way from Brooklyn just to pick up Orange Cremsicle Ale ! Omg it taste like cream soda but beer 🍻 Next time we will definitely try new flavors, but this one will always be my personal favorite !!!

Mean max is by far one of our favorite spots in glens falls! Tons of IPAs to choose from and such friendly and informative staff. They close at 11 but let us finish our game of darts with smiles on their faces the whole time. So sweet and such a memorable experience.

Great selection of craft beers, ciders and sours. From time to time there’s live music. Seating at the bar, tables/high tops and even front patio seating available. There’s even darts to play. I believe this is probably a seasonal drink but if you enjoy the flavors of chai tea this is a must. I had it chilled but I’m assuming it could be slightly warmed and enjoy after a nice fall/winter activity next to the fireplace.

We had our wedding afterparty at Mean Max and it was the most perfect night ever! After contacting the staff a weeks prior, they agreed to stay open late and have about 100 people come and enjoy after the reception ended. Great drinks, very friendly staff, and a wonderful bar. We were so pleased, and couldn't be happier with Mean Max's service!

Large selection of brews with large, easy to read wall menu listing brew type, alcohol content and prices, which are reasonable. Atmosphere is quiet, with taped music over a good sound system. Covid rules followed and enforced with understanding customers. A pleasant experience.

Nice looking taproom with an ADK vibe, right across street from Davidson Bros. I tried the John's Brook NEIPA and the pineapple cream ale. Both were good. Ordered in a cheeseboard ($9) from Farmacy, looked awful in the foam clamshell, but tasted fine.

Most of the beers are pretty tasty, some are bad. The last one we ordered there was a watermelon sour and my partner said it tasted exactly like his pre-workout powdered drink mix. Never had a great house beer. The ambience is enjoyable. Unless its a busy night; then you're guaranteed to leave with tinnitus.

Place looks nice and lots of cool sounding beers. Ordered flight of 5 beers and canned beer. All the draft beer is piss hot. Not chilled. HOT as a cup of coffee. Bartender says the keg cooler broke but temp is 45 degree. I asked for him to feel the beer. Refuses and says he's not going to discuss the matter with me and walks away never to return. Had us close out tab before beer served which was odd a first. He obviously knew that he was serving piss hot beer. I didn't know what else to do or say. I drank my friend's canned beer.
