So we were having a very busy day and ordered a 12 cup pizza pepperoni and 10 wings extra sauce on the side and blue cheese and celery. I also ordered breadsticks and I got marinara with those and a 2-liter bottle of soda. I picked everything up at the drive-thru everybody was very friendly they gave me extra cups and napkins and straws great service. Well we got home with the food and we couldn't open the soda nobody could open the soda so we called and a Gentleman hopped right in the car and came right to our house which is probably 2 minutes away and he could not open the soda either so we didn't feel too bad but they were very quick to fix that not their fault to begin with. The 12 cut was huge!

Was visiting from out of the area and randomly found this place online. The food did not disappoint! The pizza and breadsticks were delicious, and the cauliflower wings?!? So tasty!!! If I lived in the area I would absolutely eat here regularly!

Today I picked up my pizza unaware that I left my wallet on their counter. Shortly after returning home, my doorbell rang. CJ the assistant manager drove to my home to return it. Above and beyond what most people would do! Forever grateful to a wonderful man for looking out for his customers! I cannot thank him enough for his act of kindness! Wonderful establishment wonderful food! Thank you CJ!

The best part about my last visit was the customer service. After a 12 hour shift I reluctantly called and Ryan took my order 5-10 minutes before close. He was kind and courteous. Because of his customer service I will be back time and time again. You guys have a great employee.

Door Dasher gave us the wrong order - we had ordered a large pizza, a gluten free pizza and a calzone - so no fault of the restaurant that we only received one small personal pizza (sorry Andy, it had your name on it and everything). We were waiting to hear back from Doordash about a resolution and Pizza Works went ahead and remade our food and delivered it to our house within 20 minutes...on a Saturday night. We always include the delivery tip on Doordash so it didn't even cross my mind until he was already gone that we should have tipped the restaurant employee who delivered the correct order. I'll have to stop in and see if he's there this week...I wasn't thinking clearly - sorry!!! Anyhow, food here is always good, always consistent. Orders are always accurate. Employees always friendly. This time they truly went above and beyond our expectations and that's why we will continue to order regularly from this business. Thanks again!! 😊😊😊

We’ve been here a few times and always love the vibe. You really can’t beat the atmosphere for a pizza night with the family. It hits that sweet spot between pizza parlor and nice restaurant if that makes sense. Being a nice day we decided this was the perfect place to bring the kids. Not surprisingly everyone else had the same idea. We were nervous as there was a few parties in front of us, but the wait actually wasn’t that long (maybe 15 mins). Our waitress was understandably busy so things might have taken a little longer than normal, but we could tell they were slammed and working hard so it didn’t really bother us. Despite how busy it was our waitress never made it seem like she was in a rush and was super pleasant. When the food came out (still relatively quick under the circumstances), they said my sons personal pizza needed to get redone because a slice accidentally fell on the ground, NBD. because we had enough other food to go around. We had an EBA (Everything But Anchovies) pizza which was delicious. Thin crust with the perfect amount of toppings. The kids had a burger, spaghetti and a personal pizza and they all enjoyed their meals. The thing that really impressed me was as we were finishing our meal, both the waitress and the manager came over to apologize about the wait for my sons pizza. They then took the charge off the bill and gave us free dessert. This was totally unexpected because we weren’t even upset about it. It’s pretty classy when a restaurant proactively acknowledges their mistakes. This really just reinforced my belief that Pizza Works is a top notch organization that is well run. Totally exceeded expectations! We will be back soon!

Great place to pick up a nice big thin round NY-style pizza... So much so, I almost wished someone would come close to hitting me in the parking lot so I can bang on their hood and yell "Hey! I'm walkin' here!" Call ahead, it'll be ready when you ask for it. Pizza works is my go-to.

The best slice in the area - the Buffalo chicken is our favorite, but all the pizza here is good. Update several years later: we still love this place. The garlic knots have quickly become a favorite for the toddler. We moved closer and have gotten delivery, which was timely and still warm. We have also done the drive through pick up, which is very convenient when you have a toddler or if it’s raining.

It would be hard to beat the pepperoni pizza at Pizza Works. It is consistently good and service is fast and friendly. Prices are what to be expected with this economic time. It has an industrial, modern look which I find not cozy but many people like that. It was clean and handicapped accessible. Certainly will return.

Best pizza and wings in the area with so much more to offer as well. New York style pizza is great and the wings are cooked perfectly to ordered specifications. We have tried the Italian food and sandwiches in the past and they did not disappoint either. Highly recommend and service was excellent. Will definitely continue to be my family's go to for pizza and takeout in the area. Plan to go for sit down meal in near future as there is ample space and atmosphere seems very comfortable and casual.

Absolutely incredible. I've been eating here since I was a kid and it has only gotten better. The new space is beautiful, the staff are friendly and seemingly dedicated. I love the drive up window! Worth the drive from anywhere in the capital district, it's the best pizza around and the moon's are amazing.

Their boneless wings are SO good!! The pizza is really delicious, it's hard to choose which type. I usually get takeout, but I really enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant (especially when outside is open) and the service is excellent. Some great local craft beer options.

Moved to the area last year and finally found our new pizza shop. Our kids even eat the crust. Tried an Eggplant moon tonight, yummy! Hubby had the Italian beef sandwich with a salad. He enjoyed it. Been here many times for lunch. Always a great selection . The Mac & Cheese topped pizza is GREAT. Their meatball topping is exceptional. Their cheese pie is superb. Treat yourself to a clean environment and a fast and friendly staff.

Chipotle Dry Rub.. some of the best wings around. Great pizza, hard working young staff, the first place we ordered for delivery when we recently moved close enough. Has become an almost weekly staple.

This is my second medium Margarita pizza this week and it's only Wednesday. I ask for a little extra sauce and cheese when ordering. It keeps the pizza more moist. Love it, even cold! The lunch time staff are awesome!!

I went in on a Saturday night to pick up a DoorDash and absolutely love the encouragement from the staff to the younger staff. I wish I had grabbed their names. You don't see that type of caring very often anymore, and I just wanted to share that the man behind the counter was doing an amazing job with the two sisters that were still learning. Great job on building them up, giving them a positive work experience and environment.

I’ve been coming for years. It’s best to sit down and order a slice the pizza is perfect that way. The Burnt Hills location is the superior one. The one in Ballston Spa is just dark and dingy in comparison.

(Horrible photo alert) I'm going rogue. Pizza Works Burnt Hills has my vote for best wings! They are large, crispy and juicy. Didn't even have to ask for "extra crispy." Sauce or rub is plentiful, and seems to be added after cooking. They offer the standard Buffalo range, BBQ and garlic parm, but we tried the unique flavors: Thai Chaz, PBJ, sweet and sour, Cajun dry rub and jerk dry rub. I am SO sold! My mouth is so happy. The jerk, in particular, has such a amazing flavor profile! Bonus about being here - they serve Wolf Hollow Brewing Company beers on tap 😍🍺 Don't sleep on this place for wings, pizza (pickle pizza!!!), pasta dinners and more!

Everyone here is very kind and helpful whenever I come. The vegan cheese is AMAZING and is probably the best I've ever tasted. Their vegan wings are also great. The staff is always super kind, and they gave us a free pizza because they felt bad ours was cut uneven. Great place to go.

We have been here several times and each visit they had friendly and efficient service! I placed and order online and picked up in restaurant. Great portions for their "moon" sandwiches as well :) Edit: went back for dine in service tonight friendly server, he was very busy but he made it work. Got a large pizza & few apps Great experience again, same server-very attentive and friendly! Another visit and this place does not disappoint, the server was excellent as well as everything out of the kitchen. The kitchen forgot to fire something and they got it right out to the table and comped the bill. If you haven't been here yet you are truly missing out. Get anything you want on a handmade moon roll for the best sandwich of your life!

One of our favorite spots to grab takeout and to dine in! The food is always consistently good and they have great specials! Our whole family loves that they have a drive thru window for takeout. There's something fun about getting an entire window handed to you through your window! We always get pizza from Pizza Works, but their cauliflower wings are a favorite! The Thai chili sauce is the best! Can't say enough great things about this restaurant (and they're sister spot in Ballston Spa).

By luck we came across Pizza Works when looking for a lunch place to eat that would also be safe for my son who has multiple food allergies. The server was extremely attentive and responsive to our request and was reassuring of the ingredients, which many items are made from scratch on site. But the best part of the visit was the amazing food. I ordered one of their veggie sandwiches which come in a round roll and it was probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The eggplant was crispy and had taste!!! The other ingredients were fresh and delicious!!! Totally wish we lived closer to this gem but maybe we will get lost again and find ourselves eating there again sometime soon!

I've ordered take out here, but this is the first time that I dined in. It looks recently renovated, and I feel they did a nice job. Large doors open up in the front of the building where they offered covered outdoor seating. The menu is simple, but I have to say that what we ordered was very good. Greens and Beans, Tortellini, Cheesy herb bread sticks, and Cranberry/Walnut salad. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely check this place out. As a side note, they have a drive-thru for take out orders. The Pizza is a little floppy, but the sauce is good. I ordered for pick up recently. They don't deliver. Part of my order was not done. I had to wait another 10 min. It was very busy

Quite a place, and quite busy! There must have been a dozen staff members there on a Friday night. The pizza was very good, especially the special white pizza with broccoli and sausage. I wish all pizzas were a little more substantial like they were years ago, but alas, I haven't found any like that in the Capital District. It was a fine couple of pies at the Pizza Works though.

Pizzas were really good. Had the desert cinnamon one. Mac n cheese pizza and a 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage pizza. We got Meduims, but it was really expensive, $60, Three of us only had 2 slices left over of the cinnamon one. That said. It may be just a sign of the times. I have found the cost of eating out has become incredibly significant to the point I rarely eat out because I can't justify the expense. But, once again, the pizzas w were really good and tasty, etc.

This was a fun experience with large Italian menu. There French fries were amazing.

Great pizza! I love the look of the new building and the huge overhead doors that can open up the restaurant to the outside. Unfortunately, the high ceiling and somewhat open dining area amplifies the noise. Even with just a handful of tables occupied, it is very noisy.

Excellent Pizza shop. Really good pizza. Haven't has much more than that there so I can't really speak as to the rest of their food.

Delicious! The food was as expected, yummy and satisfying. The customer service is solid and the wait time for food to be brought out to you is reasonable. They did seem somewhat understaffed, so garbage cans were full and some tables weren’t cleared off. No judgment on that because it’s a tough gig in the food service industry. Especially when there isn’t many people willing to work these days. All in all it was a great dining experience. I look forward to going back.!

Three overs and one under... Overpriced 42.00 for two pizzas. Yes I did know the price but based on the ratings I gave it a try. Overtime ... half hour later Overrated And Undercooked I received a call from pizza works two days after my review was posted by a very nice man who gave me full credit and a second chance. That was great customer service. I just got a pizza half pepperoni and wings and chicken tenders. The wings were great. The pizza wasn’t my cup of tea but the service was spot on when I picked up and they were very polite.

Poor quality check. Hit or miss if food will be good or burnt. Or if wings will have sufficient sauce or just a dab. Gow hard is it to make a salad with no onions, yet dwspitw the request the red onions show up 75% of the time. No longer our go to place. Only go when not much else is open.

Ordered a simplistic dish, BAKED ziti. Came out as ziti with sauce, very saucy and some melted mozzarella cheese, nothing baked about it. Disappointed, it's a dish ya really can't mess up unless you just stop trying.

Pizza was pretty disappointing, especially for an 8 cut for $15.00. So paper thin, hard to eat without it the cheese sliding off. Each slice was significantly sized different than the other. Seems like a bunch of kids working there. Consistency is key for producing a great product, this isn’t just the case here.. Also, ordered a chicken parm dinner, when arrived to pick up order, the pizza was done, waited 10 minutes for dinner to be done. Pizza sat that long. Not good. Unfortunately, will not be ordering again.

The food is great, the service is suspect. I’ve ordered from there several time because I want to support local businesses. But despite spelling out my order several times they don’t even come close to getting correct. Even when you ask them if they could check the order, they smile and say yes but then I go trough it and haven’t given any of what I asked for. And sadly this happens 3 consecutive times.

First time here. Had dinner about 6:30. Food was excellent. Wait person (Marley)was training and by herself. Had to chase her down to order after waiting too long and observing her clearing tables instead. When we needed an implement she was nowhere to be found so had to ask another waitress who helped us. Lots of apologies. The dining room was only partially filled but the noise level, especially from the counter area where people were yelling, was obnoxious. The place sounded like a sports bar. Not what we expected. Sorry, won’t be back.

I did like the Jamaican jerk wings. but the pizza was so bad which surprised me. Tasted like yesterdays pizza was put in a box, i couldn't even revive it with trying to crisp it up in oven with some toppings I had in the fridge. The pizza here has always been on the lighter smaller thinner side which can be fine but not if it has shoe leather texture and chef Boyardee tasting sauce? What happened . Used to like this place.

We order here for lunch multiple times a month for work. The food is pretty good, and they make it in a timely manner. That being said, they have not gotten a single order correct in the past 12 months. Its laughable at this point we always rush to find out who got there order wrong this time. We will start exploring other options going forward.

Walked in ordered at the same time as my husband and they almost didn't give me my pizza. Had to remind her it was still in the oven after she said "you're all set." No biggie but now kinda wished she had forgot. First bite was burnt since she forgot about it. Tasteless hot thin cardboard. Worst pizza I've ever had. Had a watery side of ranch as well. YUCK. Place was nice though.

They just told us that a 10 minute drive for their delivery driver was too far away, we live less than 5 miles from the pizza shop. I used to deliver pies and you would easily drive 20 minutes or 10+ miles to a house to make a delivery. Would recommend picking up your food, can't actually comment on the quality since they won't deliver it haha. And unfortunately, we live BETWEEN both their locations... both under 5 miles away. You can't make this up. Anyone have any recs other than this place?

Take home pizza was like thin cardboard, tasteless, overpriced and with very little sauce & cheese. I tried it twice, just to see maybe it was an "off" day for the cooks, but no! Stewart's pizza is so much better, they should open a pizza place! I can't believe Pizza Works is still in business, unless patrons eat other items and don't purchase pizza from them! The staff are nice folks!

The food overall is good when it's right. The problem is it's rarely cooked right.. I've ordered numerous pizzas well done and they're often floppy. Each time I order the cauliflower wings, there's creamy batter in the inside and they're not done. The chunks are cut way too big. These issues keep happening over and over even after speaking with a manager. This could easily be my favorite local pizza joint - but unfortunately, I cannot continue to pay a premium price for a product I always have to cook more when I get it home.

For the past four months, I have been coming in often and on ordering chicken wings. I order a specific style of chicken wings that should not be very difficult to understand. I order extra crispy all drums. Every single time there is a mess up in my order. It does not really matter all that much when the order is wrong However, tonight I was asked specifically by one of the workers (a manager I think) if I wanted all drums, I said yes. When I got home and looked at my order, the wing are all flats and not crispy at all. I don’t know if it is because there are all young teenagers that are placing the orders or the fact that people just assume they can type in the computer or whatever they want and it’s OK. This has been going on like I said for four months.

This was probably the worst take out pizza I’ve ever ordered. As a New Yorker, I’m embarrassed to even call it that, pizza. The lunch assortment is amazing. It’s mind blowing how different the take out is. First of all we ordered an 8 cut half cheese half pepperoni, which came all pepperoni. The pizza was not much bigger than my hand, I took pictures because I couldn’t believe it. The boneless wings were slimy. The breading was falling off and we ordered extra sauce on the wings and the box was dry as a bone. We also ordered chicken tenders which I also took pictures because it’s the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. I will NEVER make this mistake again. It’s a shame because I go on lunch to get pizza and it’s an amazing deal, big slices , great assortment, it’s insane the differences. $60 down the drain.

Customer service was great but I ordered wings they came raw inside so I called and received a credit about a month later I decided to try them out again used my credit and received RAW wings again. Salmonella is dangerous please cook your wings longer

Waited and was passed up several times while people who came in after us were served. Asked waitress for a menu and got ignored. Ended up getting up and leaving. In the scheme of things they may not think losing 1 customer is a big deal, would rather spend my money on a business that cares about service. keep treating customers like this and the numbers will increase.

Stopped in tonight to get a couple of slices for my daughter and I . Worst pizza I ever had. Overcooked and dried out. Was supposed to be cheese pizza but no cheese was recognizable. I used to like their pizza. Very disappointed!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. Nay, the worst experience. We arrived and were not even greeted. We stood by the door, several staff passing us, not one explaining wait time or even addressing us. After 25 minutes, feeling foolish for waiting, we were seated. After which, we waited another 20 minutes to have our order taken. Our food came . . . The portion size for the price was ridiculous. Don't order chicken tenders unless you are 3 years old and half way full already. The pizza was cold and thin as can be. The service is by far the worst my wife and I have ever had the displeasure to experience.

Every single Friday we order here. Every single Friday my wife gets a stromboli that is half cooked. The inside is all raw dough. We started asking for it to be cooked well done because they can't handle cooking their food properly/fully without being asked to, yet they still gave us a raw stromboli again tonight. When you're spending over 50 dollars for dinner for two adults and a 5 year old, from a pizza place, you'd think they could at least handle cooking the food fully. This place has gone so far downhill in the last few years, and accelerated rapidly in the last ~6 months, the owners could save the crew from Deep Impact. Seems we'll need to pick a new pizza spot for our Friday pizza nights.

The manager Josh was very disrespectful to me when I went through the drive through for a slice of pizza. I didn’t know you couldn’t get slices through that and he gave me an attitude and called me bro. Told me to come in if I wanted slices. When I went in to speak to a manager he stated he was the manager and still was rude to me. He told me he’s sorry I felt that way. Caleb was very professional on the plus side. I would reconsider your manager that you have on seeing he doesn’t know how to speak to customers.

Normally have great experiences at Pizza Works but since moving to the new location Im feeling pretty let down. Ordered a pizza and fish & chips and got home with no pizza. No time to go back and get it either, so hubs has nothing to eat. Portion of chips was pretty.... sad. 12 fries total. Fish tasted okay but a bit darker cooked than is typical/borderline burnt. 1 or 2 bites of coleslaw. just lackluster portions and botched order a few days later gave them another try. this time they didnt give me my salad, had to ask for, then they give me the wrong kind in spite of reading it back off the order. monumentally disappointed. moved into a new building and suddenly nobody can read or make decent food.

Tiny garlic knots had more flavor than our small, thin 8 cut pizza with 4 toppings- mushrooms, onions, double cheese, & half pepperoni. The half with no pepperoni had absolutely no flavor at all - Didn't bother eating. Nice staff, but very disappointing food.

The food here was so nasty I didn’t finish my meal I gave it back to them and said I did not like it. I thought this was a real Italian restaurant and it wasn’t. First of all the food came out in 5 minutes it’s like they just heated the food in the microwave. The pasta was covered in so much sauce it was nasty it had no taste and the shrimp taste like it was raw. They have high school kids working in the kitchen. I thought this place would be good cause of the reviews there but don’t be fooled cause the food has no taste to it. We had to ask for bread and that was good and the salads were so small but that was good. My mom ordered a grilled chicken salad and her chicken was cold. She did not like it at all. My son ordered chicken wings and he liked them it was $20 for 10 wings. Never again 🤢It looked like chef boyardee!

Ordered a 12 cut cheese pizza and large anti pasta salad.. picked up when it was ready.. the salad is good.. wish I could say the same about the pizza.. The pizza was cold and it’s the size of an 8 cut pizza cut into 12 slices. Not impressed $32.00

Don't understand what all the grand reviews are for. The pizza just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's because the crust is bland and machine pressed. Or 16 year olds adding the toppings. Or an oven that is more like a timed chain driven toaster. Or...wait for it; it's just lousy pizza. Even PCs pizza has better seasonings and taste. Not for me.

Been going here for thirty plus years.Got a large pizza.It had fifteen pieces of pepperoni on it, it looked 1000% naked. Went there on 9 20 25 10 wings for 22 bucks. And the drums tasted like and ate, like they were from a thirty year old chicken. The chicken crisis is over. I am absolutely taking my business elsewhere Edit 10/1/25 I don't know where you got extra crispy from but my order was not for extra crispy And I have the receipt that says it was only medium half drum half wings
