This is a cute shop with very friendly staff and lots of space. The shop is clean and welcoming. They have lots of variety, unlike some other donut shops I have been to, such as: apple, raspberry, and lemon tortillas (highly recommend); apple and cherry turnovers; croissants; iced, blended drinks; and unique looking muffins.

I come here many mornings to pick up breakfast for my family after working some graveyard shifts. The employees working the counter are always nice and polite and I usually take forever picking what I want and I never have felt rushed. Their prices are quite reasonable, it's .99 per donut but $10 for a dozen. I have yet to taste a pastry from this place that was bad, their donuts are DANGEROUS you're going to want to keep eating them. Feels like a very "mom-n-pop" store and I like supporting these places over dunkin/krispy because this is an actual family versus a corporations franchise. You get a better product for less money and you help the local economy. Win-win!

Really good donuts. Their apple fritter is the best in rancho. The donuts themselves taste better than most shops, the donuts themselves aren't overly light like crispy kreme, but definitely are not dense like safeway. The workers are super friendly and while they have a decent selection, this shop receives a fair amount of customers so don't he surprised if some varieties are sold out if you arrive late morning.

Delicious! 😋 the place was full of people getting their Sunday donuts for church or family breakfasts! Winners are chocolate glazed, long John's (maple bar), raspberry filled and any of the coffees. Nice people too 👍

Fresh great tasting donuts all day everyday, this place never misses and everyone that works their has great customer service no matter the time u go in, it's never dirty and I've never once seen a fly in their display, I am a lover of donuts and would suggest to anyone that they use this spot for their donut craving.

Tucked well away in a sleepy strip mall is Howard's donuts. Went around noon on a Sunday not expecting them to have anything, only to find plenty of selection. Plus they were bringing out fresh ham and cheese croissants. The staff were very friendly and the donuts were yum! Next time I'm in Rancho, I'll be going back! 🍩🍩

I stopped in and got an old fashioned donut and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were super nice, and they have great prices! Be sure to get there early on weekends as they tend to sell out fast :)

Best donuts I've had. Been going since I was a child, never disappointed. The family that run's the joint is exceptionally kind and patient. They deserve to be bigger than krispy kreme.

Has anybody ever seen? A donut shop. That is so clean, It's sparkles? It's like the Mecca of perfect food safety and sanitation. I couldn't believe it, I'm still blown away. it doesn't smell like a fryer. And then you get the donuts and they don't taste like old fryer oil. I have not had a donut this amazing. What a cute, clean and delicious donut shop. They have espresso coffee and homemade muffins too! They were even nice enough to make me a ham & cheese croissant after they ran out. Highly recommend his little gem.

This little donut shop is awesome. After moving back here from Washington we had to find a good donut shop. There are no Legendary Donuts here so the quest was on. Howard's is by far yummy in my tummy. Personally, I love the huge apple fritters. My husband enjoys the multiple jelly fills (raspberry, cherry, blueberry and lemon) but his favorite filled donut is the bear claw filled with apple filling. You can get them glazed or crumb coated. The variety here is awesome. They do alot of the old school techniques dipping in coconut, peanuts, crumb coating, etc. There are some non traditional items here as well and the croissants are huge. I'll take more pictures later depending on the crowds. They are covid prepared. Very friendly staff and the coffee is great too. Get here early or call to set something aside. We will definitely be back.

This tiny place makes fabulous Donuts. I've smell-tasted a lot of them. if you don't know what smell tasting is, it's when you taste something with your nose. I've done a lot of that here and let me tell you all the donuts are fantastic. The only downside is they make you spend 10 bucks to use your credit card which is weird since Donuts are like $0.68 and I typically only want one. that's why they get four stars instead of 5-- for that inconvenience.

Highly recommended! 4/5 stars, because I am partial to Hillsdale Donuts in Foothill farms. However, Howard's Donuts has amazing Maple Bars! The Glaze donuts are lovely, and the service was Great. They are quick and attentive. Oh, and They sell cool T-shirts! KAMO APPROVED BUSINESS! GO C THEM, STILLMULATE THE ECONOMY. 👍🏁

Do try going early I went around 7am an people were already coming in going so your favorite donut or other type you may crave could be gone til its made again fresh the next day.

Pretty good donuts. Kind of pricey. Guy starts making donuts around 10:30 or 11 the night before. Seems to me they could be made a little later. In theory your fresh donut could be nearly half a day old when you buy it. People are friendly, service was good. Place looked clean.

My cup of Howatd's hot chocolate was the creamiest, most chocolatey and delicious cup of hot chocolate I've ever tried. Each sip was amazing. You'll literally savor each sip. Not everyone at Howard's Donuts has been trained on using the new formula. Ask the counter person if they've been trained on preparing the new Howard's Hot Chocolate. service needs a lot of improvement. im positive im not the only one, for the very few times i’ve come in here there is a very offputting vibe behind the counter the moment you enter and they notice you. if you value kind service and a tension free atmosphere i would support another small business. thank you though. oh and the $10 card minimum everyone else is talking about is real. donuts are good though, it’s just not anything special or crazy in my opinion.

I stopped at this place one more time because my regular donut shop doesn't have regular donut at that time. Their donut is not different from most donut shop. Unfortunately their service is terrible. The guy came up and said:"What?" I looked like a homeless with dirty baseball hat. I wasn't there to beg for anything. I'm on my way to work. He looks like he an Asian. Is that how he treat people in his culture? No matter what, his shop is to sell stuffs to all customers, not just the people in his culture. I'm sorry. I can find another place for my sweet craving. By the way, is it me or real. Their large cup of coffee looks pretty small to me. It cost almost $2.00 for that much of coffee? How about the chocolate bar?I think this is the most expensive donut in town. However, their donuts are NOT as good as Donut Stop or BJ.

Like many I don't usually carry cash. They have a minimum $10 charge to use a debit card. Ridiculous! If you want a couple of doughnuts and don't have cash, this isn't the place.
