It doesnt look very good from the outside,but remember don't judge a book by its cover. The fish and chips was delicious. The blonde waitress/ bartender was very nice. There is either a bar area to sit and eat or a restraunt area to eat.

Nice little hole in the wall . People and staff were very nice . The place got busy but the service was great . I enjoyed the chavela no shrimp or chili on rim but they were still good .

Much like the other reviews, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but once in the doors you are treated like family. It was one of the highlights for our trip. The food was excellent and the staff amazing. If you have to stop somewhere, this is a great choice!

New Year’s Eve steak dinners 2 20 oz ribeye steak dinner for 50.00 Very nice quality food. Don’t let the outside scare you away. The staff was so welcoming to us. The service was excellent. Nice to find a decent steak. This little gem of a bar and grill should be busier. One side of the Carlitos is a bar while the other 1/2 is the restaurant it is separated by a wall and even separate doors for entering the restaurant part.

This place was and is awesome.cold beer and great food.great service.i cant wait to go back. Make sure u get the Christmas driver great drink.the tacos were tasty and the chicken was cooked to perfection.

We were looking for a steakhouse close to home and we remembered hearing the commercial on the radio so we went to have dinner there. I'm glad to say it did not disappoint. It was the best rib eye I ever had.

We ordered the Porterhouse, T-Bone, and Pork Chop. Looks are deceiving. Small place and excellent food. Steaks didn't need any seasoning. Food portions are a good size also.

Chill place to be if you're in Gonzales. The building/business has history in this small town. The beer is cold and the service is quick.

I don't know how this place is four stars had the worst experience order the sampler it was almost black because of the old oil they used to cook it not only that the bartender said it was $7 and at the end of the night it was 10.50 a shot they act like they don't know what we were talking about we ordered shock top and it tasted bitter and sour, we brought it up and they're like oh I'm sorry I'm sorry we're out of that one so we ended up ordering a bottle of beer because they kept giving us beer that it wasn't that we ordered brought it up to Carlos he didn't care he said next time I got you but there ain't no next time for us peace out enjoy that expensive beer and shots for a low budget place

The owner Carlos makes fraudulent charges on people's cards. Don't use your debit card here he will double charge you and make charges on days you haven't even been there

The Owner of this bar “Carlos” is a thief. Guys check your receipt when you pay he always charges people more than what they get. Plus a lot of times he doesn’t give you a receipt. Worst experience ever. I saw cockroaches and rats in that place. Not Sanitized at all 🤮
