Una pasada de sitio en Granada. Un bar clásico, que lleva años abierto y dando tapas diferentes y riquísimas. El local es pequeñito pero siempre tiene un ambiente espectacular. Mucha gente de otros países, unas tapas con toques portugueses y con currys. Servicio amable, comida rica y diferente, opciones vegetarianas... ¡Una maravillosidad! Nos encantaron las tapas de curry thai, el bacalao portugués, el pollo al curry con polenta, las alitas piri piri... Todo está riquísimo.

Un sitio donde se come bien y se está a gusto. Las tapas son abundantes, con sabores caseros y una variedad que permite probar un poco de todo. El ambiente es animado, con un público variado y un servicio rápido y cordial. Se nota que el equipo trabaja con ganas y buena organización. Las bebidas llegan enseguida, siempre en su punto, y el precio es más que razonable. El lugar está bien cuidado y limpio, lo que da buena impresión desde el principio. Es ideal para una comida ligera, una cena o simplemente para picar algo con amigos. Sin duda, un sitio que cumple con todo lo que se espera de un buen bar de tapas.

Los pinchos con piña es lo que mejor me entra cuando tengo hambre. Todo rico y elaborado. Siempre genial! Siempre lleno. Por algo será. Hasta pronto.

Sitio para relajarse con una cerveza y su tapa, o con una copa. Muchos años, este local sigue fiel a su espíritu.

The owner Matthew works behind the bar and has cultivated a special, welcoming, and authentic space. The drinks and accompanying excellent tapas would have been memorable on their own, but it is the conversation and positive energy that have made this one of my favorite spots we have experienced. We went on a Sunday night in January so did not have difficulty getting served and were able to enjoy a relaxed, international atmosphere and pleasant chats with the owner and regulars. Prices more than fair.

A tapa bar worth a visit!! It's a little place and limited stool's but that doesn't matter because it part of its charm, i see it as a place where people love to come for a pint and some tapas and it creates the atmosphere where because people are packing into the place you interact better with others so its good if ur solo traveler and looking to meet and talk to people, Owners are husband and wife he is an English man i believe and his amazing chef wife, good portion sizes and proper pints

best meal ever & such friendly owners. you get to pick a (free) tapas with each drink. the food was incredible - my favourite were the chicken wings. recommend to go at opening if you want a seat as it fills very quickly. cash only! would highly recommend!

Great little bar/restaurant. The owner is friendly, and the tapas are delicious and all gluten free. Great mix of people in the bar. Free tapas with drinks. Will definitely go back if ever in Granada again.

Poe is like a poem in your plate. Tapas are absolutely amazing, very cheap prices (for every drink you get one tapas for free). Get there early because the place is highly in demand. We got there 3 minutes after opening and there was only one free table.

What a special place. Amazing vibes, super cozy, great food, and all around stellar place. Must go if you’re in Granada. It is cash only so keep that in mind. But the sauces and tenderness of the chicken… need to go back!

a great experience! They offer delicious vegetarian and Halal tapas, and their Portuguese salt cod tapas were truly exceptional. The bartender was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Delicious hot food! Love that our food came piping hot in the little ceramic plates. Everything was great but the spicy chicken liver with coriander & spicy piri-piri pork stew were exceptional 👍🏻 it comes with rice and has a kick to it. SUPER YUMS! Plus, every drink order comes with a free tapas too!

Our favourite type of bar to find in a new town. Full of punters having a great time with a great vibe. No music as it was hard to hear yourselves above the chatter but all the better for that. Great free tapas with every drink you have and you get to choose from a superb little menu. Run by an Englishman and his wife, I think, who certainly work very hard to make this place into a PROPER BAR! FAB!

My family (husband, 2 daughters) and I went to Bar Poë this evening, thanks to the really good reviews they've gotten. The tapas were delicious (we tried everything except the cod) - the girls especially enjoyed the pork/pineapple skewers and coconut chicken, while my husband and I were partial to the Thai chicken and chickpea salad. The potatoes with curry were also delicious. We are not fans of liver but my husband got the chicken liver due to the rave reviews it's gotten. The sauce is great but if you don't like liver, you don't like liver. The man serving everyone was very friendly and relaxed, despite how busy he was. The atmosphere was very cozy (hyggelig, as the Danes say). We can highly recommend this tapas bar.

A really good address! The server is really nice , the food is excellent you can find a variety of tapas with a good flavour and well spiced. Biers are nices. In conclusion it is for me a place to be! At least a place to try! But if we have time, we will go back there!

I loved Poë so much that I came back the next night. Drinks and tapas are very affordable. I tried most of the tapas and my favorites were the spicy dishes, which had enough kick to be a refreshing change from the less spicy typical Spanish food. I also thought that the vegetarian dishes were also pretty tasty! When I came there the crowd was a little bit more tourists than locals, maybe because I came earlier in the evening. However, it seemed to be tourists who were looking for a more non traditional place, so I wouldn't take the fact that I didn't see a ton of locals as a bad sign. I noticed that the owner was very friendly with all the patrons. If I had a bar like Poë near where I lived, I would be there every week!

Si se busca un sitio diferente en Granada, se acertará visitando este bar. Suelen ir muchos clientes de habla inglesa, con lo cual es buen sitio para intentar conversar con otros clientes y el camarero en este idioma. Las tapas son fuera de lo habitual pero ricas todas, recomiendo sobre todo el guiso de pollo al estilo Tailandés, te encantará. Lo peor es que el bar es algo pequeño y las tapas tardan demasiado en ponerlas. Sitio curioso, recomiendo que pases por allí.

As a solo traveller I came across this fantastic little bar.Its a friendly place with a mix of locals and tourists. You have the choice of free tapas with every drink and you can also buy additional tapas. A lovely atmosphere and would recommend this bar to anyone that is in the Granada area. Very good value for money as well and easy to reach location

Came here after reading other reviews and was not disappointed. We managed to try the majority of the tapas during our visit and they were flavoursome, some with a gentle spice which hit gradually, displaying some fantastic cookery. Would highly recommend the Pork stew & the Piri Piri wings! Matthew at the bar was very friendly and helpful. Id read to get there as close to opening as possible, and boy are we glad we did. It fills up quickly, and there was a queue of locals patiently waiting to get in later in the evening, which I hadn't really witnessed anywhere else. There are two minor downfalls however - the lack of card payments (we didn't notice till we'd arrived that it was cash only, so I had to take the 8min walk to the nearest cash point). Secondly it gets VERY hot inside - I'm assuming due to the kitchen being just behind the bar, and genuinely the sheer amount of people visiting! There are no fans or air-conditioning present, so it does get a little bit sweaty! Do not let these detract from the overall experiences however, the food, drinks and experience were absolutely fantastic; I will recommend to all whom visit Granada and long may it continue!

Homey place that's a little different than a lot of other strictly traditional tapas venues. The menu is eclectic with lots of African and Portuguese influences. If you want spice, finally here is a place to get it. Prices are reasonable, but it's super popular so be prepared to wait for a spot on busy nights and it gets quite toasty inside. The food may take a bit longer but it's worth the wait for all the flavour! Friendly bartender. Really nice guy. Good mix of locals and tourists.
