My wife went through and picked up a to go rib plate. When she got home the ribs were not very appetizing. I call and spoke with the manager and he did something I've never seen done. He made an entire new order and drove it out to my house. When I spoke with him he said, "I just want everyone to be happy with our food & service." Way above & beyond and it is one of the reasons I enjoy eating there.

Visiting. Wanted some good bbq. Ate here several years ago and decided to give it another try. We were a party of seven. Excellent food. Would highly recommend it.

The ribs were good and the girl came around offering free extra rolls several times...always a pleasant experience every time I visit..update 09/01/2024. Visited for dinner..the girl never came around to offer any extra rolls...I asked the girl working the to go orders and she went behind the counter and got some for us..she acted like she was afraid to ask the girl working in the rolls area....tonight it was a far cry from the atmosphere at the Bedford restaurant...

We celebrated my dad’s 94th birthday here. We called ahead and were able to get the party room for our group of 25. The party room has doors and allowed for my father to mingle with everyone and hear everything going on. Often in restaurants his hearing aid does not allow for good conversation because things are so loud- but this was perfect! The food was wonderful. My father’s taste buds are not as good as they used to be and he doesn’t always eat as much, but he cleared his plate! The staff was incredibly accommodating. They arranged the tables for us, turned the fans on, lowered the air, brought a knife to cut the cake and served Blue Bell Ice cream for the whole family! As you can see- my 94 year old daddy was very pleased with his birthday lunch! We were all very pleased with the whole experience!

I'll definitely start this review with saying I'm from Kansas City, and this place is AMAZING. They make sure you're very happy with with the food and the cuts the way you want them. And also go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. And they go around every few minutes and serve you fresh hot homemade bread. Super hard to top!..

We ordered our Mother's Day meal and it was awesome! My favorite was the chicken. It was so moist and delicious. We also got brisket and sausage. Yummy! The sides were beans, potato salad, and green beans. They also sent rolls and we added pickles, onions slices, and jalapenos. Granny and Mom didn't have to cook and Dad and son got brownie points for picking it up. Great food and easy Mother's Day!

Very pleased with Spring Creek today. Big family gathering. We dropped in and ordered five pounds of various meats to go. It was not a problem for them to get that ready. The food was a hit at the party. The sausage especially was delicious!

Delicious! I had the brisket and a side of fries. Both were amazing! The fries were seasoned to perfection. The brisket was heavily seasoned, but it was still very tasty. The rolls they brought out were the cherry on top. Warm, buttery, and yeasty! So good! When we had finished our meal they brought us all complimentary ice cream. I look forward to coming back again!

Love Spring Creek and have gone since they opened and are rewards members.. Our only complaint is we get Buy one Get one w/drink offers and we never get the drink that is to come with the offer. We are always told we had to buy a drink to get a drink but having 2 drinks with our order which would mean we are buying at least one does not count and we are always charged for 2 drinks. Perhaps the w/drink needs to be eliminated or a clarification of how the offer truly works. Or is it an employee not knowing? I know it's a small thing but it is either buy one get one w/drink or it's not and if it's not eliminate it on the offer.

Had the St. Louis ribs, green beans and Mac n cheese. Finished up with peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Rib meat fell off the bone and was upper tasty. Green beans with bacon were super delicious. Mac and cheese was nice a creamy. Would go again if I lived closer.

While visiting the Granbury, we decided to go out for some real Texas BBQ. We were not disappointed! The brisket sandwiches just melted in our mouths. Very tender and juicy. No fat. The sauce served on the side was delicious. Loved the beans too. The staff was extremely friendly and the hot rolls kept coming as quickly as we ate them. 28 bucks for two. Nice atmosphere and spotless restrooms. We would go there again in a heartbeat. Thank Spring Creek for a fantastic lunch!

Based on other reviews I wasn’t sure about eating here, but I’m glad we did! BBQ brisket sandwiches were delicious! Lots of meat on each one. I didn’t care for the coleslaw, but that’s a personal preference and every restaurant has a different recipe for it. The first set of dinner rolls they brought out were a little dry and hard, but they brought out more almost immediately to replace them before I even said anything. It seems the staff and management are really trying hard to make this a good place to eat. We’ll be back!

Today was my neighbor and I's first time, and it was absolutely the best 'out to eat' we've had in a very long time! The line servers were so patient with us and even came to our table to take our to go orders, so we could share the greatness! The employees in every position were very kind and attentive, but not too much to make me feel pressured to hurry, as I have in other places. The bread brought to the table, regardless of what you've chosen to eat, was phenomenal! Just can't say enough 'GREAT PLACE' comments for this place!! We will be back soon!!!

as a 48 year granbury native, i gotta say that spring creek has had its ups and downs. it was great when it first opened many years ago but it went down hill and was the laughing stock of the town for awhile. i went in a few weeks ago and noticed theyve really turned things around! the food was great ! brisket, beans, potato salad, fried okra and rolls were all on point. thinking that may have been a fluke i went back the next week and it was also great! i ordered from doordash and it came hot and ready to eat. the ribs are outstanding! kudos to the entire team up there and keep up the good work!

Everything is great... But the one item I have to eat (not what my family has to eat) is chicken or turkey. While the chicken is good, the turkey loaf (that kind found that is wrapped up without bone) isn't as good and flavorful as all the other items. For me, I wish it was better not boring and needed to be sauced. But once again, everything else is great!

Only went with four stars as I have not been there yet. I look at the reviews and wonder how some people can give a one rating, basically hating everything about the place. While others are very generous with four and five star ratings. I will be checking out your establishment shortly to see for myself. I think some people you just cant please.

I wanted a nice meal in a sit down restaurant after a long week. I got the baby back rib dinner with green beans and Mac n cheese for the sides. The ribs were very good. The flavor was nice and they were tender. I enjoyed the green beans. I enjoyed the hot and fresh rolls. The service was good. I had peach cobbler and ice cream for dessert. The peach cobbler had been cooked a bit too long for my liking. Overall I enjoyed my visit and the service.

Good atmosphere, relaxing, clean. Food is good. Appetizers my favorite are the fried jalapeños with ranch dressing. At times a lil spicy but it doesn’t stop me. Steaks are pretty good. Service is good, attentive and very nice.

My first visit to this restaurant was a good experience. I had brisket and my friends had ribs. We all enjoyed our food. There were baked potatoes ( loaded any way we wanted), there were sides like mac and cheese, green beans, corn on the cob, pinto beans, and fresh hot rolls, which are replenished often. Afterward, we enjoyed yummy hot peach cobbler with ice cream.

The food was good, but more expensive than I'm used to paying for bbq. Service was almost non existance. There is no table service at my table. I refilled my water glass myself. As I was leaving, a young woman gave me a warm roll to add to my take-home carton upon my request. The young woman proving the rolls was very pleasant.

Best smoked chicken I had in yrs. huge portions as well . And the dinner rolls... oh my ... Ate too many.. so delicious definatly try this place if you like outdoor smoked cooking .

Great bbq. Menu a little confusing but the manager took care of us. Only one real complaint we had was we had to get up to go refill our drinks. Other than that we loved it.

It's decent smokehouse food. They are friendly but you have to check your bag before you leave. The turkey and ribs are always so tender.

*Delicious BBQ sauce* *Corn was over cooked* *Expensive* I wouldn't probably return to this location mainly because their prices seemed high for two of us to eat it was $35 and that's without drinks. Their dinner rolls are delicious. The corn on the cob was so over cooked that it was mushy I'm guessing because maybe it was in the hot water warmer for an extended period of time.

I ask for lean brisket relceived like 2 small pieces of brisket 2 slices with fat ,, thier plates 2 meat r not cheap. But guess the bake potato made up for it was a great. The free ice cream for the kids it was our grandsons birthday. Thanks.

Better Bar-B-Que is available in Granbury but, most others are not open after a certain time and or, are closed on Mondays. Great service the wait staff are very attentive to your needs. PS: The rolls are always amazing. I have been eating Spring Creek BBQ for many years ever since the original N. Dallas county opened it's doors.

Staff was great and food was good. Place was clean and busy. Would rate 3 1/2 but this site only gives whole stars and it might have been a 4 star rating for this type of establishment but they were pretty late with some of the services, like the rolls.. love the rolls but I guess they didn't make enough. Still I highly recommend here.in Granbury as I have been to two others that were good but I like this place the best out of all.

Stopped in for dinner tonight. Their food is always very good. I'm not sure if they either need to mop the floor, or cut down on the floor cleaner. Either way, the floor is slick, almost as bad as ice. I can see shoe patterns on the floor.

It's ok. It's gone downhill some over the past couple of years. The staff wasn't very friendly and the meat was a little dry and the baked potato was overdone. They also didn't apply the coupon correctly to my invoice and it took them awhile to figure out how to fix it. Was pretty frustrating but will give them another try down the road.

Look, Spring Creek BBQ is a staple amongst barbecue restaurants in Texas. That being said it was an extremely stupid move on the part of corporate to take away the unlimited sides. It was exactly the unlimited sides that made this an economic and affordable option for families. Now it's just decent barbecue at an extremely overpriced cost. It's just simply not worth it anymore...

Dry meat but really delicious ice cream. They came up to our table with 5 cups asking if we wanted our complimentary ice cream. Sides were good. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. System of getting food could be better but over all it was good.

They had a 2 for 1 rib dinner special and I talked my wife, who normally doesn't go for BBQ, into going with me. The food was consistent in quality and taste from prior visits, which I like. The ribs were meaty and only mildly greasy. We had 2 sides each, including fried okra, green beans, Cole slaw and mac-n-cheese. While eating a server brought out fresh hot rolls. We had eaten enough that we did not have room for the peach cobbler and ice cream this time. There are certainly better rib joints in Texas, but you'd have to look pretty hard to find one of this consistent quality.

The sides we had were good as well as the rolls. But the brisket was awful. I was given a choice of lean, fat or mix. I specifically asked for lean, but two of the slices were nothing but fat, and the other slices had fat on them. I would not recommend the brisket to anyone.

Had the three meat plate. Good portions. Had brisket, Turkey and sausage. Sides included Mac and cheese and cole slaw. The sides were good. The BBQ sauce wasn’t at all. The sausage was really good but the brisket and Turkey only so-so. It’s worth another try but won’t likely be our first choice.

We eat here often and will probably continue to but it's past time to remodel the bathrooms! Please!

The food was good. But the best service I got was from the girl bringing bread. No one else talked to me until I went to see if I can get a refill on my tea. The other thing that happened was someone in the kitchen dropped a mop and slammed the door. Don't know what happened but not as friendly as they used to be. Plus the food was alot more expensive than it used to be.

Just a nite to check your order before you leave. Usually the take out staff will show you your order. When they haven't done that I have been missing items. I got lazy checking since they were always so thorough but the last couple times I didn't double check something was missing.

We usually live this place, but the quality of the "side dishes" were not good. The coleslaw was warm and seasoned with MAYONNAISE on this visit. The other sides were overcooked and floppy. Maybe this was a one-off. I hope so, anyway.

Looks like our spring Creek back in Katy but the similarities end there. Food was cold, brisket was not tender but chewy and there were no warm rolls in the place, for the first time I left meat on my plate and ate all the sides.

Try the restaurant if you are in the mood for bbq. Counter service. Helpful staff. Could be a bit cleaner. Ribs are not my style- a bit hammy. Sliced Brisket looks good, I would get that next time. Fried okra was great!

Was not very impressed. I got a smoked turkey sandwich and fries for $10.35. I’ve gotten this a couple of times and had always gotten a lot more meat. I got about 4 small slices and a smashed bun. My sandwich when put together was about maybe an inch tall. It felt very skimpy for the price and a lot warmer. When I was given the flag for the fries it was so dingy dirty and felt like it had never been cleaned before. I didn’t even want to touch it again. I had to have someone clean the bench my daughter had picked because there was bbq sauce on it in several places and still missed the rest of it that was really sticky. For a place that’s been closed because of COVID-19 I would expect everything to be a lot cleaner than it was. Not too sure about the 6 boxes of baked potatoes piled on top of each of stacked almost falling over by our table that were just sitting out.

Got takeout just a few days ago, this what we got: 1# sliced brisket, 1# turkey 2 okra and 2 fries..for $74.00 The fries were frozen not hand cut, the okra and turkey were good, the brisket was more than 1/2 fat. So do with this info what you will. Oh, and the rolls were cold and hard. And no, it hadn't sat there we walked in and ordered take out.

The line servers were okay. The pulled pork was mediocre. The corn on the cob was very mushy and literally tasteless. I was very disappointed with the overall experience. However, there was a young lady that baked the bread and checked on the customers. She was making sure we got more bread or a complimentary dessert of ice cream. She was quiet and sweet. Definitely the highlight!

Got a CHOP BBQ sandwich the barbecue is old and dried out, meet tasted old like it had been refrigerated and reheated and more barbecue sauce poured on it. Had to wait on food and girl never came back around to refilled tea paid, paid for ice cream and cobbler nobody was there to fill the order had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get the cobbler. It was expensive in the food sucks, first time I went there and I won't waste time to go back. If you want a good meal go next door to the steakhouse, you get what you paid for there.

The school cafeteria layout of this place was only worsened by the cafeteria quality of the food. I Ordered a brisket and sausage combo $18+ which came with 2 very distasteful sides. Choices of coleslaw, hardened-to-the-edge-of-the-ceramic-cup pinto beans, mushed green beans, dry corn on the cob. If you want a better side it’s $$: I.e. a baked potato is $8+ (which I didn’t get because I can buy a 8lb bag of russets for less). The meat given was scant, and dry, the bbq sauce sort of helped. They use the same gloves to touch bread rolls and the food they’re cutting up so not allergen friendly. At checkout it was $25. I guess because I got a cup of water? Never saw the receipt - a girl just tells you the total. Then they ask for a tip - even though it’s self seating, self serving, and you clean up after yourself. Long story short - won’t return.

They were never amazing but I hadn't been in a while and was hungry. I was met with dry chicken, smaller portions, and higher prices. There's no value and no reason to eat at this place anymore.

Was on a Sunday I walking young kid is standing at the grill with rack of ribs I'm thinking he just got done with those that would be delicious so I spend 18.99 for the baby back ribs get to my table. I have never in my life had to peel the meat off the bone with my fork just to put in my mouth and chew each fork full for 10 mins. The worst ribs I have ever eaten . The only way I'll come back is if it's free. And I'll still be skeptical

I highly recommend not eating here. The food is not good. It has gone way downhill. The pork could gag a maggot. Save your time and money and get a cheeseburger at McDonald's

Usually a good place to eat but Super Bowl Sunday went in and ordered food for 4 people! Everything was wrong when I got home but it’s so far away I ate it anyways! Emailed the company and 4 days later still no response!

I walked in at noon on a Saturday. No one was in line. I approach a lady who looked me in the eye and I asked, can I have a sliced brisket sandwich? She immediately turned away, ignoring me, to attend to some other, assuredly more important, task, without even acknowledging my presence. Two other ladies at the counter stood there doing nothing, looking dumbfounded as I left to eat elsewhere. How hard it is to even say “hello?”

Took my family there on New Years day, it was 75.00 for 4 of us, a bit too pricey but we're new here so we got our food, daughters pulled pork was a small amount of meat, but she did like the sauce, my son and I both had brisket and about midnight we both started getting sick, it sucked! Don't think I'll be spending my money there again.

I just had one of the worst meals of my life at the Granbury Spring Creek. The meat was not good, the sausage didn't taste right, the potato salad had too much mayo, the cole slaw was dry and the rolls weren't even proofed correctly. For $20, I would expect something better than that. When I told one of the workers about it, she laughed and offered me a to-go box.

Made an online order to be picked up at 6pm. Wasn't greeted. I had to get their attention and tell them I was here to pickup. They said it isn't ready. 15 minutes later, they said they're waiting on bread. 15 minutes later I ask them how much longer. Manager finally steps in and gets me out the door. No apologies. No thank you come again. Food was luke warm at best. Tasted as if it was left from lunch. Not impressed and won't be back.

Just paid 100 dollars for dinner picked it up got home and I have never been more disappointed no bbq sauce (as usual) meat was very dry. Mac and cheese was under cooked and peach cobbler was under cooked and very nasty. Call to let my feelings be known to the manager Cam and all he could say was I’m sorry u had a bad experience. Again I just spent a 100 dollars on dinner and that was the best u could do I will refrain from going back there again very poor excuse for a manager to just let me get off the phone so unsatisfied

Tiny meat portion sizes, flies constantly landing on our food, no one came around with rolls in 1 hour and a half until we were leaving, coke slaw was not sweet and tasted like it had way too much mayo in it, beans were absolutely flavorless. There’s no way I’m returning ever.

Meh. Really, some of the worst BBQ I have eaten. The staff are super friendly. The manager took time to hang. But, come on. Spring Creek turned off their cable which is a tell tale sign. It's WORLD SERIES guys! The food has no soul. I took my left overs to feed the fetal cats in the parking lot. Not a comp loss.
