Great meal and fantastic and attentive service! Did the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Great cocktails here as well. While it was rather expensive it was also pretty outstanding and worth a trip if you’re looking for a great meal while visiting CI.

This place had a great vibe. Got the chance to talk to the chef as well. Great people. Great restaurant. The picture is of the appetizer consisting of octopus. Very very unique and very delicious. Go here. You won't be disappointed...

Chef Shetty has created an amazing fusion of Caribbean flair and Indian culture. The tandoori Madagascar shrimp presentation was equally as amazing as its taste. Red Snapper fillet or whole and rack of lamb are a must. The fresh herbs and garlic in the lamb make the medium rare lamb chops burst with flavor. Sticky toffee dessert with a cappuccino is my go to dessert in the Caymans, and it is a sure fire choice at Blue Cilantro. If you are visiting here, do yourself a favor and eat at Blue Cilantro. You will not be disappointed.

A superb dinner experience, decor, greeting, seating, I had the lobster and clam chowder along with the filet cooked to perfection. My wife had the salmon crusted on side but super moist and delectable served over noodles and bok choy. They loved the Naan bread. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent and the service is the best I’ve experienced on island. My fiancé and I went for an intimate birthday celebration and we chose the 4 course menu with wine pairing. What a mouthwatering choice. I also forgot my card at the restaurant and as I arrived home, I immediately received a call from them informing me they had my card. Thank you! I will definitely recommend Blue Cilantro to friends and family.

We decided to sit at the bar for our dinner and everything was amazing, including our "table side" service and bar service. We highly recommend the burrata appetizer with naan bread, and jumbo shrimp as an add on to your dinner. If you're looking for a high end dinner, with exceptional service, this was our best dinner on the island.

Chef Shetty is my Favorite Chef! You won't find fresher, more expertly prepared seafood here on Grand Cayman. Everything is great! I love the Lamb also! Just Perfect!! Crab cakes? YUM!! Another guest at our hotel recommended we try Blue Cilantro (it was their favorite restaurant they dined at during their Grand Cayman vacation) and I’m so glad we followed their guidance! Meal was superb and the service was fantastic. I wish I could have the garlic and butter naan every day. And the gnocchi!!!!! The chutneys they serve with the naan are house made and very playful. Next time we are in the GC we will definitely return!

Blue cilantro was fantastic! While unassuming looking, the menu was fresh and sophisticated with an Asian flair to many classic seafood and steak options. Good cocktails and good dessert.

My family and I visited this place while on vacation in Grand Cayman. I found it in a magazine article provided to me on the flight. The overall experience was great. We were seated immediately after arrival, were greeted kindly and professionally, and were served incredibly. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the ambience was family-oriented and a bit romantic. We eat out a lot, so it is difficult to impress us. Needless to say, we were impressed. My husband, who barely eats, was impressed by the lamb he ate. I had the fried whole snapper, and our daughters had paella- all delicious! But above all, the service was what most impressed us. The waiters are very attentive. Our server in particular, Prakasm, was unbelievable. He was always around our table. He knew when to refill the water, our wine, and even when we needed new napkins. Highly recommend this place!!

From the moment we walked in, loved the environment, attention to detail.Hab the crab cakes and jumbo shrimp for an appetizer, the Filet and Paella from dinner and Banana Cheesecake for dessert. All definitely some to come back for dinner.

Fantastic Brunch Experience! We experienced an excellent à la carte brunch. Each dish was a beautifully presented masterpiece. The exceptional service elevated our experience. RJ was an outstanding server! Friendly and attentive, he ensured we had everything we needed. I highly recommend it!

Best meals we had on the island (yes, we came here more than once!). We tried many of the higher end seafood restaurants in Grand Cayman but the flavors and attention to detail here made it a standout. Highly recommend!

Was sent here by the guy at Cayman Distilling and he was right on point. Great food and amazing service. Had the 4 course tasting menu and didn't regret a thing. So delicious! Service was up there with the best places I've been.

We stopped by Blue Cilantro on a quiet night and were blown away by the quality and service. From the moment we walked in the manager, Padmakar, and bartender, AJ, made us feel at home. The food was exquisite. Each item thoughtfully plated with a beautiful presentation. Hats off to the chefs here, truly. They’re turning out some really special meals. The drinks were also delicious with a good selection of wine as well! So glad we found Blue Cilantro and will be back for the incredible food and friendly service! 10/10

We were a party of 13 for brunch at Blue Cilantro on a Sunday. Oh my goodness it was AMAZING! So much endless delicious and beautiful food. Very kind and helpful staff. I have a ton of food allergies and they were able to alter dishes to allow me to still participate and enjoy the food. Such a wonderful experience. Heads up that with a party of bigger sizes you will be there for quite some time. I wasn’t mad though. :) Beautiful atmosphere, comfy seating kept it all great. Highly recommend.

Wow! We haven't been here since the restaurant first opened but man did it ever blow us away. I had seen the great reviews and we decided to give it another try and we weren't disappointed. The food was great, service was pretty good. The food was just great and well worth the 2nd try ans all the recent good reviews.

Cocktails are fantastic, very refreshing and tasty!😋 Ambiance is amazingly beautiful yet very relaxing and Romantic for couples dining out!

Just came for cocktails, which were well designed and the bar man did an excellent job. Also had some bar snacks and the ambience was nice.

Service and atmosphere was top tier, however food was okay on my opinion. Very expensive for the portion you get. Lobster ravioli came with only 5 as the entree. Server was excellent.

Food was lackluster. Server was unimpressive. Knew the menu but lacked personality and the ability to explain the food. Food was very bland. I did enjoy the ravioli but my partners salmon meal was very average. Octopus and naans were not inspiring.

Service was TERRIBLE!! Took an hour and 15 minutes for our food to come out after we ordered - ridiculous. Our drinks also arrived AFTER appetizers. It was impressively bad. The food was good but not great and worth the wait. Very disappointed

The place should be called The Great Pretend. Beautiful decor, service, but food is tasteless. Trying to be fancy, but not even close. Fried Red snapper came with sauce that looked and taste like green pees baby food. $480 for 4 people, 2 main courses and only 2 drinks. .

Even though service was great, the whole place feels as if one asked ChatGPT to generate a “fancy restaurant” The blue lights feel fake, the menu is incongruent, and the place feels forced fancy. The food was mediocre at best, chewy octopus, undercooked and drowned in overly sweet sauce. “Ceviche” coated in soy sauce and random ingredients. The attention was great and the staff is very professional but it fails completely on delivery and just looks like someone trying too hard.

I am stunned at the number of positive reviews for this thoroughly disappointing and overpriced restaurant. Do not be fooled. Just because food is plated artfully and priced obscenely, it does not mean it is cooked properly or that it tastes good. I dined with a party of 8, and each one of us was entirely disappointed by the subpar experience. Across the board, the food was not worth the very hefty price tag (expect to spend about $100 USD per person). Highlights: the bread is quite good and the service is quite friendly. This review is really only about the food. Some lowlights included: Octopus: chewy, tough, and sickly sweet - tastes a lot like jarred hoisin sauce Ceviche: just bizarre, flavors that didn’t go together at all. Mostly tastes like jarred ponzu sauce. Chowder: bland and forgettable Salmon: overcooked and dry, with soggy skin, served with a cake of gummy noodles. I’d rather eat instant ramen. Steak: served with completely bland hunks of potato that they attempt to pass off as “truffle fries,” and mostly devoid of any sauce. A bland plate. Portion sizes: multiple diners from my party were still hungry, and at least one went for a second dinner after finishing their meal at Blue Cilantro. Extremely disappointing experience. Save your money.

Made advance reservations for new years. Wanted a nice sit down dinner with seafood. Had to leave a card in advance. After arriving we were informed that the menu for the evening was set and very expensive!!! Did not eat most of the food! This information should have been posted in advance! We would NEVER go back!!!

I’ve truly never eaten so poorly in my life. Blue Cilantro was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The service was abysmal, the waitstaff didn’t even know which side to serve or clear dishes from, which is basic hospitality 101. The so-called “fusion” cuisine was confused, pretentious, and utterly forgettable. Definitely not worth the high prices they charge. This place is all style and no substance. There are far better dining options on the island. Avoid this one.
