I had a great experience at Freebirds, and a big part of that was thanks to Sean. He was super friendly and really knew the menu. I wasn’t sure what sauce to try, and he recommended the Chipotle Crema — and it was an amazing choice. It added the perfect smoky flavor and really brought the whole burrito together. Sean took the time to make sure everything was made right and made the whole experience feel welcoming. Great service like that definitely makes you want to come back. I had an awesome experience at Freebirds in Grapevine! Sofia absolutely made it next level. She helped me pick out some amazing toppings and sauces that I probably wouldn’t have tried on my own — and they were PERFECT. Everything was balanced, flavorful, and fresh. I gave it a 5 star because the customer service was far from reproach. Very welcoming, it was clean and inviting. I got my burrito with the red tortilla and the green chili pork. Here is the thing. I feel like the cilantro lime rice could use more flavor. The pinto beans was nothing special. they needed seasoning.. That pork was the star of the show. It was absolutely delicious, but you lost a little of the flavor because to me, all the other ingredients needed seasoning. It was not a bad experience for my first time in. I spent over $17 on a burrito and a large drink. I feel like that was a little pricy, considering I just got a regular, Normal size burrito.

The food is excellent here! Genuine Mexican food taste mixed with cool hip -Cali vibe. First tried in Santa Barbara Ca and now here and just as good as I remember. But what really topped my visit was the service provided by Van 🧔 and was nothing short of exceptional 👏. He was very accommodating to my order request and went out of his way to meet my need. He also took the time to see if I needed anything when I was just about done with my meal. Even though it's not a table service restaurant he still swung by to ensure I enjoyed my meal since I hadn't been in years. This guy knows how to deliver and I wish more people interacted like him in the service industry 👍 Great job Freebirds on hiring stellar guy and most of all making delicious and consistent cuisine👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

3.7 stars. Great employees who were super friendly and helpful. Food was average and missed on the flavor profile. Portion size was good. Queso and chips were what saved the visit. Overall, prices are higher than Chipotle and unfortunately not as good either. Do better Freebirds. You once were so much better!

We love Freebirda but don't visit often because there's none close to us. We stopped by this one after going to ICE! We were the only people in there for about 20 minutes before another family came in. We ate dinner. Obviously no wait and plenty of seating. Because they hadn't been busy, some of the food was a little dried out. Still tasted good and was warm. Highly recommended adding the garlic to your meal. It's really good. They have vegetarian and vegan options. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program to accumulate points for free food. Staff was friendly and efficient. I'm not sure why this location isn't busier but maybe it's just been the days we come.

All in all, I would change the slogan to ‘Texas’ okayest burrito.’ We didn’t have any real issues, but it wasn’t the usual Freebirds experience we were expecting. The food was more bland than usual and the salsa was not quite right. However, the brisket burrito was still good, the staff was friendly and the sweet tea was on par.

This was my first time coming and now that I have an idea of all of the flavors, I know how to get the most out of my experience. The food itself was really good. But, I can build a better burrito with flavors to compliment my tastes buds than my first experience. The team was friendly and fast. I will for sure be back.

The grapevine location was not as good as the Arlington Highlands location. The food was just ok. The refried beans were too watery, cilantro was wilted. it was so hot in that restaurant. I guess the air was broken. I asked the cashier if the air was on because it was hot in there and she says I guess so then walks off instead of ringing me up. Finally got rang up but couldn't actually enjoy the food because of how hot it was in the restaurant.

I have to downgrade y'all because of this consistent experience. The first time I was being too forgiving. My second visit in 2 months. Bullet points for the same girl. 1. Please don't talk at 100 mph. Business was slow both visits. 2. If something cost extra, tell the customer, don't let them find out at the register.

Avoid this location. This used to be my favorite stop. Staff is great but overworked. This is the 3rd time I have been there where food quality has gone way down hill. I had to walk out last visit because the food on the line looked so poor. Also, constant AC issues in this location.

While I enjoy freebird food and options, for whatever reason the grapevine location turns off online/in app orders during lunch regularly which is baffling to me, do you want business? I know you're probably busy in the restaurant, but turning off online orders seems counterproductive, inefficient, and excluding a whole stream of revenue is confusing.

This is the worst Burrito place i have ever been to!!! The rice had no flavor and everything like the rice and the meats were old and tasted kind of hard like they been sitting there for a while DEFINITELY NOT CHIPOTLE!!!!! No wonder the place was empty when we arrived but we’re traveling to Dallas and it was the only place we could stop at🙄 (The employees were really nice tho)

Found this extra long hair embedded in my burrito and some white fuzzes- I don’t know, but I have never experienced this level of disgust. It was a female server who made my food did not have an apron on nor a hair net, and quite frankly those gloves she was wearing(god knows how long it was kept on or recycle to use the same gloves)she pulled her phone out while making my burrito and wiped her forehead. It was just absolutely disgusting. That sever gotta go because it’s a serious hygiene issue and very uncomfortable Even the place had this dirty vibes. Omg I threw that burrito straight to trash. I will never go back to that place. Never. It was just blantly disgusting and so grossed out. Come on!!!

I ordered a takeout burrito and made it clear to exclude rice due to my food sensitivities to tomatoes and cilantro in the rice options, which affect my health. Unfortunately, my burrito came with rice and skimped on the ingredients I requested. The tomatoes even soaked through the tortilla, forcing me to discard the food to prevent getting sick.

Food wasn't warm so definitely not freshly made to eat. Food was sitting there. Recommend a better Manager than Sarah Gto help train on having foods ready and at the very least heat up the food nobody wants cold food. I recommend the arlington location instead of this grapevine location. I regret not going to the arlington freebirds instead since they always have that food fresh and hot! First and last time at this location I doubt they will stay open long with the cold food they are serving here.

I just spent $22 for a bowl and it was mid. Thus is absurd. Just close the place down. What bs pricing is it that a bowl should cost $22. Don’t waste your moneyZ

Today was the third (and final) time I gave this location a shot and it's been an absolute miss every time. This was the first time the beans and rice and other toppings actually seemed pretty fresh and there was a significant difference in the way that all tasted compared to the previous 2 times where it was all quite dry. I normally don't get chicken, but today I opted for the white meat chicken and unfortunately it's that ABSOLUTE GARBAGE cheap soy/ribmeat/pressed frozen chicken, which really upsets my stomach and I don't find palatable, even slightly. So just a heads up, that premium chicken isn't even 100% chicken

Really poor dining experience. Came in around 6pm and the restaurant was a ghost town. No one to be seen, chairs up on tables and employees blasting personal music in the back. After several minutes, an employee showed up and couldn’t have cared less. Rice was hard from sitting in the tub, beans were cold and chips broken and stale (not to mention their flavor was really off). Just an overall bad experience especially given that there are so many other great quick service Mexican restaurants in the area.

They were out of chips... midday on a weekend. No forks. No paper towels in the men's restroom. Ladies restroom smelled nasty. No overhead music, so the regular atmosphere was off, as well.
