We were a group of seven celebrating NYE in this wonderful place owned and running by even more wonderful people. We had booked a full course menu, and day after we have nothing but the best to say about it. Everything was perfect, from timings (gondola + snowcat to go up and down), food (variety of interesting and well done dishes. The amount of food was simply unbelievable). And last, but surely not the least, the service was amazing. Well organized tables, plenty of staff to serve fast and on time respecting the menu rhythm. All of them were a perfect orchestra that made us feel well taken care of. Thank you for making us feel like home! Happy New Year!

Great place, amazing service! We celebrated New Year’s Eve there, and the food, ambiance, and organization were perfectly timed. We had special requests, and everything was handled very kindly and without any issues. The ride up and down the mountain with the lift was perfectly coordinated. Highly recommended for the next New Year!

A mountain refuge at quite a high altitude (2300 m), that works also as a restaurant. It can be reached from the top station of the funicular that starts from Staffal and arrives at the Alpe Sant'Anna, with an extra 100 m uphill walk. Alternatively, the manager of the refuge is always available to take visitors up and down the refuge with his big pick up, since the path is quite steep and irregular. The dining room of the refuge is wide and pleasant, and sports six huge windows which allow breathtaking views on the mountain panorama all around. In particular one of the most astonishing views is the one on the Monte Rosa. It's a great experience to have lunch at a table overlooking this extraordinary mountain! The menu is interesting, with a choice over several local dishes, that are very good. The staff is nice and the service is quick enough, but I would recommend to take one's time, in order to admire these fantastic views. Having done a daytime visit, I did not try the refuge rooms.

Liked the place. In winter, you ski all the way to the place. Accommodation is located on the red and black ski slopes. The views are amazing. You can admire the glacier and the beauty of the mountains. Breakfast is delicious Italian, but I miss warm scrambled eggs. A 5 course dinner, the food is tasty, but too salty for me. Rooms are very warm, simple and clean with spatious bathroom and comfort beds. TV with Netflix and Internet. The host is helpful and kind. Next time I would like to visit this place with my whole family.
