I love that they have a daily surprise for food—cheap and delicious. The staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. They also have political materials to read and discuss. They're organized as an assembly, and it's a cooperative project that champions spaces free from bosses and animal exploitation.

Excellent place, a small, intimate space, perfect for coming alone or with your partner. The service is very friendly, the food is delicious, the coffee, the desserts, I would definitely return to this place. I recommend it to people visiting Guadalajara or to those who live here and already know the place. Something out of the ordinary, something special.

They have a set menu for the day, sliding scale and cash only. We were expecting to try stuff we had seen on previous Google reviews. Food was decent but we were disappointed by the experience. Very slow service, they were barely opening after 1:30pm and it took a long time to get our food.

I'm writing just to say it may no longer exist. I went. According to Maps, it said there was one, but they didn't answer, and everything was closed. So you don't waste your time like I did.

The place is very strange. We sat at two tables in the kitchen at the low table, and the stools were super unstable, so there was no security when sitting. They told us they only had mushroom pozole (they weren't mushrooms, they were button mushrooms). The flavor was average, some beans were still hard, the lemon water was unpleasant, the lettuce was very burnt, and they served us a pittance, as was the onion. In fact, I didn't see the onion, it was from the garlic and lemon juice they served us. We were served by two people, a woman and a man, the man's service was inattentive, and the photos don't do the place justice. Or maybe if you think you're not going to a restaurant and analyze what it says (cooperative), several people do their best. You'll realize that those of us who expect to enter a restaurant are disappointed. When we asked for the bill, they told me it was at least $85 pesos and up. That's when it hit me that this isn't an organized place. They served us our plates, and one was 60% the size of the other! Imagine the kind of service. I honestly didn't want to even comment on it because of the guy's attitude.
