Avaliações de Peligro al Fondo Guadalajara
Exceedingly nice breakfast spot. Nice mix of healthy and more indulgent options. Pleasant atmosphere and great service. We will definitely be returning.
I had a great breakfast (tres leches pancakes, chilequiles, and espresso. I also like the plants and decor—beautiful! This restaurant feels like a hidden gem in Guadalajara.
I had breakfast here twice. On both occasions, I found the food to be wonderful the service attentive and atmosphere lively. While staying in the area, I passed by the restaurant at other times and found it to be quite busy. I hope to return in the future for lunch or dinner. I want to give special thanks to my server on one occasion, Maria. She made me feel like I was part of the family. I do have one note of caution if you are allergic, at least on my two visits, I found there to be a healthy presence of honeybees. They invited themselves to mine and surrounding tables to share the jelly. I left them alone and they did so with me.
This is my go to spot for an energetic, yet calm vibe (if that makes sense). Everyone here is enjoying their time; the food, the music, the design, and the service are all wonderful. You can comfortably have a conversation here without yelling (which I truly enjoy). Every time I come here, I order the Chilaquiles de Camarón. The tortillas are crisp, the salsa is seasoned to perfection, and the shrimp is never overcooked. The plating is also so wonderful. It is this eclectic style going for it. Make sure to set some time aside to find parking before you make it because it can be a bit difficult during peak hours, but you will enjoy the walk looking at the beautiful streets of GDL.
Unusual space...lots of plants and open air in what is actually a small space. The breakfast menu, at least breakfast that is, has a lot of options and has some unique preparations specific to Mexico. The pancakes are large...and airy and tall like a cake, the mushrooms used in the Omelette are a unique type of mushroom called hongos. They have well prepared coffee drinks and uniquely prepared green juices and lemonades. They had ability to serve a group of 10 at one table. Food was tasty for all in our group of 16.
A great place to chill, but a questionable option for dining. The dishes are unique and beautifully served but small. Beers are small too, and they failed to serve the only big one. No micheladas. An extremely strange Cesar salad that missed chicken and smelled like shrimp (the one in the third photo). They literally water trees there!! so it keeps as green as possible. And yes, let there be Rainbow. They definitely let it be.
Hype place, not worth the way, in my opinion. There are plenty of amazing tasting cafes and brunch places in Guadalajara. This one is so trendy that you have to wait forever to get a table, and once you get one, the service is a disaster. You literally have to chase servers to help you and wait long to get your order. Ambiance: beautiful patio, well decorated Service: slow! chasing down people to help you Food: Real big menu with lots of variety. Food doesn't disappoint, but nothing you can not find around Prices: average, similar to many around
Absolutely gorgeous place, very green with plants everywhere. I had the enchiladas de Costilla and they were delicious. My boyfriend had the ceasar salad and unfortunately he wasn't as keen on his but that could be just to personal taste. The food is okay priced and you definitely get your moneys worth with the beautiful location!
I really like the ambience of the place. When it comes to good it was ok types. I had chilaquiles verdes which was ok types. Their toast with Panela and tomato was good though. I really enjoyed their iced chai latte. Service was fast and we had to wait for almost 45 minutes to get out table.
This is a gorgeous place. It feels like a secret garden. The food is delicious. I didn't feel comfortable eating here. They don't let you choose your table. Circular tables for 2, square tables for 4 and the picnic tables for groups. Thus I had to sit by a door with lots of comings and goings. Some of the staff go out of there way to help and others not so much. They do not accept credit cards at the table so you will have to go to the cashier's both. He was talking on the phone while doing my transaction so it made it a little difficult to speak with him. I think it might be an excellent option for a group.
