Each year we come here for my birthday and take the ikigai menu. It’s the same incredible standards yet completely different dishes and we get more surprised every year! We enjoy Andrea so much as she speaks all the langages and explains the dishes incredibly well with passion and gastronomy knowledge (great wine pairings). I usually don’t like prostrés and somehow these are the best in the world I’ve tasted so far. They are the perfect « Umami » flavor balance between salty and sweet. Thank you to the chef and the team who make a wonderful experience traveling with every bites. Bonus great rooftop to admire the sunset and get appetite before ;)
Food and service were great. We will gladly return. The only point of critique we could give was that the food came out really fast. We had the Ikigai menu and received all the courses including coffee in about 1h30. Other than that, everything was great.
NAM Restaurante A Culinary Journey to Remember: Our Experience at NAM We are regular visitors to Le Jardin, a place we hold in high regard for its exquisite food and genuine, heartfelt customer care. On one such visit, a warm and familiar server — someone we’ve come to trust — gently suggested we try NAM, just next door, but also belonged to the Hotel, The Meridional. She told us the chef, Jorge Amores, was not just skilled but world-renowned. Naturally, we were intrigued. We did our research, and indeed, what we read promised something special. And so, we booked a table. The reservation process was effortless — simple online booking, with an 8:00 PM slot on a Saturday evening. On arrival, we were greeted by the manager, a familiar face from a previous dining experience. The space was quiet when we walked in — almost too quiet. But, as is often the case here in Spain, the evening crowd gradually filtered in much later, bringing the room to life. We were shown to a beautiful window table. The setting — elegant, minimalist, and confident in its simplicity — gave us space to breathe and to talk. No tablecloths, but a stylish wooden twig served as a cutlery rest, and the soft lighting, generous spacing, and modern design all whispered quiet sophistication. Our server for the evening was a young man, kind and attentive, with a manner both gentle and assured. And to our delight, the very woman who had first recommended NAM joined him at our table, glowing with pride to see us there. Between the two of them, we were looked after with genuine care and ease. No pretension, no performance — just a sincere desire to offer us something memorable. We chose the Tasting Menu, €75 per person. What followed can only be described as a masterclass in culinary creativity. The Food: Art on a Plate, Love in Every Bite We began with a succession of starters: • Cold Prawn with Herb Juice • Red Tuna Tartare with Lemon and Truffle • Tomato and Salted Fish • Cecina and Mature Txulete Croquette • Prawn and Nora Taco At first, the portions looked modest — but they just kept coming. Each dish was presented with care, and each one sang with flavour. The combinations were bold, sometimes surprising, and always delicious. A true celebration of balance, texture, and taste. Then came the next wave: • Artichoke Salad with Bonito and Celery • Santa Pola Shrimp Ceviche with Sweet Potato and Cancha • Octopus with Snow Peas and Grilled Marrow • Galician Blonde Cow Steak Tartare, Pickled Mustard, Black Garlic • Stewed Bread Rolls with Garlic Rabbit and Mushrooms • Grilled Veal Sweetbreads with Eel Vichyssoise It was almost overwhelming — not in volume, but in the depth of flavour and ingenuity. Each plate was a story. A journey. A risk taken and a reward offered. Dishes that challenge the familiar and invite you to feel something beyond just taste. Though we were well and truly satisfied, our charming server wouldn’t let us leave without dessert — and thank goodness for that. Dessert: Playful, Beautiful, Perfectly Balanced We were served: • Sweet Fruit Curry • Turrón Soufflé, Nora, and Burnt Milk Ice Cream • Petit Fours with Nora Ice Cream Slice • Caramelised Chocolate Bonbon Again, surprises everywhere — combinations I would never have imagined, all working in harmony. Sweet, savoury, bold, and delicate all at once. Will we return? Without question. NAM is not simply a restaurant — it’s an experience. Chef Jorge Amores and his team have created something truly special: a place where food becomes emotion, where service feels like friendship, and where every dish is both a conversation and a gift. Our bill for dinner, including three beers, two water and two coffee was 174.40 and worth every cent. To the entire team at NAM — well done. You’ve created a space that honours creativity, respects the guest, and delivers excellence in every way.
Went for lunch and tried the tasting menu: it was delicious and with a whole range of flavors and combinations that were intriguing, special and yummy! Highlights: tomato and semi salted dried fish, wild mushrooms, venison and maybe the best dessert I've ever had, the fruit sweet curry.
I would have never imagined finding a such great quality restaurant in this area. It really surprised me, the high quality of the service, presentation and product. I experienced a really high level cuisine with regards to the combination and fusion of ingredients and textures. Totally worthy, and the service staff 10/10. I will come back for sure!
Don’t often write reviews. But credit where credits due. Both restaurants in the hotel are superb, but the gastro bar is a step above, fresh, inattentive, tasty food with wonderful multi lingual service from the general manager and staff. The tasting menu with wine paring is an absolute must. Again my compliments to the chef, and thanks to all for looking after me so well. Very impressive will be coming back.

What an experience! The "Ikigai" menu is a testament to amazing food, surprising combinations, and brilliant composition. Every bite was a delightful discovery, and it offers amazing value for money. So impressed! ✨ The tartar, octopus, rabbit, and veal sweetbreads were truly above and beyond. The service was good, but could be even better to be truly in sync with the incredible food.
Nice experience, balanced dishes with an eye for local products and tasty wines also available by the glass completed the experience. The service was very friendly and accurate.Will I be back? Sure 😋
